Story
This is Cosmo! If you're looking for a sweet and silly best friend, look no further. Cosmo came in our care to no fault of his own. Although a bit shy at first, he quickly warmed up to us and his desire to be loved came flooding in through hugs and kisses! At just 2 years old he will need some continued training and plenty of mental and physical stimulation. Which shouldn't be too much of a challenge, because Cosmo is very smart and food motivated! If you're interested in Cosmo, please feel free to fill out an adoption application and meet your new best friend!

Story
*can be met by appointment only* Ruby is a sweet, gentle one year old girl who is still finding her footing here at the shelter. New environments can feel overwhelming for her, so she may come across as a bit shy at first but underneath that timid exterior is a loving heart just waiting to bloom. Ruby will thrive in a calm, quiet home with a patient family who understands that trust takes time. She’d do best with older children who can respect her need for space and move at her pace. With consistency, kindness, and lots of reassurance, Ruby will slowly show you just how special she is. She’s looking for a family willing to give her the grace to settle in, the love to help her feel safe and the patience to let her confidence grow naturally. If you believe the best bonds are built gently and over time, Ruby just might be the perfect match for you.

Story
Meet String Bean! Lovingly known as Bean, this boy has a beautiful personality that shines through once he is comfortable. Bean came to us as a stray, and while the world was a bit scary at first, he has learned that people can be kind and that love can feel really good. Once he opens his heart up to you, his goofy and playful self comes out. He loves to romp around with a toy in mouth, show you some happy zoomies, and then snuggle up for some well-earned affection. He is on the lookout for a patient home where he can continue to build his confidence. We estimate that String Bean is about 2 years old, and he is 36 pounds. He has no known history with cats, and may be compatible with other dogs which he would need to meet here to ensure compatibility. Bean would prefer to have an adult-only home. If you are looking for a sweet, soulful companion with a touch of silliness, String Bean may be the dog for you! Fill out an application to meet String Bean during our open hours.

Story
Hi, I'm Ray! I came here from a southern shelter with my two brothers! I like to be more independent than my brothers! With being only 2 months old, I still have all of my wild puppy energy and will need lots of patience, gentle guidance, and structured training! I'm very smart and love to learn new things! I also love to snuggle and play and be around people. Apply to take me home and help me learn the world!:)
