Story
Opie is a very sweet 4 year old Chihuahua mix. Due to medical issues in my family, he needs to be rehomed. He loves lying with you on the couch or taking walks. He knows a few commands and has been great with our children and chickens. He does not pull oh his leash and gets off furniture when told. He is protective of our home, but not aggressive with visitors. He wants to be everyone's friend and loves a good belly rub.

Story
Autumn has experience with children, having been around them from babies up. She does well with most dogs but doesn't have any known history with cats. While she can be a bit shy around men, she warms up to women quickly and forms strong bonds once she feels safe. When Autumn first arrived, she was a bit stressed and scared, but with patience and love, she has shown her sweet personality! She enjoys going for walks and runs and does great in the car. While she may not be overly interested in toys just yet, she absolutely loves affection and will shower you with love once she trusts you. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will reward your kindness with endless love, Autumn could be the perfect match for you!

Story
Personality: Bear is a friendly and affectionate dog who loves everyone he meets! He enjoys the company of other dogs, cats, and kids alike. He's very sociable and is eager to make new friends. Bear is a gentle soul who doesn't really pull on the leash but does have a tendency to chew on it occasionally, likely because he wasn't walked on a leash often in his previous environment. Care Instructions: Bear's eyes should be wiped with wipes each shift to prevent hot spots from developing. He enjoys socializing and would benefit from time spent with both humans and other animals.

Story
Hey there, future human! I’m Ruby, your soon-to-be favorite 7-year-old lovebug, with just the right mix of sass and sweetness.I’ve got a touch of arthritis that needs a bit of management, but it doesn’t stop me from enjoying those short, cozy strolls with you. I like to hold onto the leash to make sure we’re always on the right path! When I meet new people, I might get a burst of excitement and pull a bit on the leash, but with a little patience, I’ll be your perfect walking buddy. I’m all about spreading love and joy in a calm, peaceful home. I’d prefer not to share my space with other pets or kids under 12.I’m housetrained, adore a good car ride, and am ready to fill your life with snuggles and affection. If you’re looking for a mature, devoted friend who knows how to be the best companion ever, come meet me. I promise you won’t regret it!

Story
Meet Mac: Your Future Fall Hiking and Snuggle Buddy! This handsome two-year-old cattle dog/ Shepherd mix is a little nervous at first but warms up quickly to become the ultimate snuggle buddy. Mac has a high energy level and loves to explore, making him the perfect partner for long walks and hiking adventures. While he thrives on activity, Mac has a strong prey drive, so he’s not suited for homes with cats, farm animals, or children. He enjoys turning recall into a playful game of `keep away,` more like `stay away` staying just out of reach and inviting you to chase after him. Due to his tendency to roam, a secure, fenced yard is essential for keeping him safe and happy.Mac knows basic commands, and with time and patience, he has great potential to be a pawsome fit in your home! He can be a bit anxious around new people and situations, so he would do best with an experienced owner who understands high-energy, high-drive dogs. He’s gentle on the leash and generally gets along with other dogs, though proper introductions are key since he’s had some challenges in the past.He loves to chew on elk antler chews and play with his favorite baseball glove, adding even more fun to his playtime! Mac does need some extra care during vet visits and nail trims, as a gentle sedation may be necessary to keep him calm. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will bring joy to your fall adventures and share warm moments together, Mac is ready to find his forever home. Don’t miss out on the chance to create incredible memories with this loving boy!Could you be the perfect match for Mac?
