Story
IDGSR Welcomes FLINT into the safety of the rescue!! THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE & AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT ************** Howdy Folks! My name is Flint and I'm a super handsome 4-5yr old purebred German Shepherd. I am located in Greeneville TN and will be available for transport. Quick Facts Age: 4-5yrs old Kids: adult home preferred Dogs: good with large dogs Cats: CAT FRIENDLY Training: could use an obedience refresher 1. I found myself in a scary shelter, was adopted to a nice family, and due to some life circumstances, I'm seeking a new forever home. 2. I am a well bred big boy! If you've been looking for a perfect German Shepherd, here I am! 3. I am CAT FRIENDLY!! This is almost unheard of for guys like me. Check out my video to see me interacting nicely with a kitty in my previous home. 4. Being a big dude, I need someone who can handle my size. I would do best in an adult home where I will receive daily mental & physical exercise, playtime, tummy rubs, and lots of treats. 5. I'd make an excellent walking companion or if you're more active, I'd love to go on hikes, runs, check out some dog friendly patios, or any other adventure you can take me on. 6. If you are looking for a purebred good boy, one who is CAT FRIENDLY, house/kennel trained, loving, and active - I'm your dude! **SERIOUS APPLICANTS ONLY! Story
IDGSR Welcomes CECE into the safety of the rescue!! THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE & AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT ************** Hiya Friends! My name is CeCe and I'm an adorable 13 week old female Shepherd mix. I am located near Greeneville TN and will be available for transport. Quick Facts Age: 13 weeks old Kids: will do great with kids Dogs: will do great with other dogs Cats: will do fine with cats Training: needs full obedience training 1. I was originally adopted by an elderly couple and they decided that a puppy has too much energy so I was turned over to the rescue. 2. I'm a Shepherd mix gal. My foster mom isn't sure what I'm mixed with but we do know I'm sweet, friendly, energetic, curious, and playful. 3. I'm just a little girl and don't know anything yet. I need a patient adopter to teach me house & crate training and eventually obedience when I'm a little older. 4. Being so young I'll get along with anyone and everyone. If you have kids, dogs, cats, turtles, and nosey neighbors, we will all be best friends. 5. I would love to go on walks, have lots and lots of play time, tummy rubs, pup-cups, play in the water in the summer, go on hikes when I'm bigger - all the super cool things the big dogs get to do! 6. If you are ready to commit to a puppy and are looking for a beautiful, friendly, funny, playful, and energetic new companion - I'm your gal! **SERIOUS APPLICANTS ONLY! If you are not 100% ready to adopt, please wait** ************** ***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION*** -ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted -We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply -All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered -Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter -An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog -Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY -Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications -All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time -Not able to adopt? Good with dogs,
Story
Train (approximately 59 pounds) and his brother Automobile were transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. They are listed as Belgian Malinois mixes and we definitely support that theory! The boys are extremely friendly, social, and outgoing - however, they are NOT starter dogs. They are highly intelligent and very driven to do a job, which means that we are looking for adopters with some type of Shepherd experience or a life-long dream of having a genius of a dog for a companion and a plan to help him be mentally & physically active so that he can be his best self. Train is gorgeous both inside & out, and with the right person or family who enjoys working with this type of dog, he is going to be an absolute dreamboat. He is high energy and smarter than most people, and he is extremely responsive to training. Train loves other dogs and did very well in doggie play groups at his previous shelter, although his play style may be too much for a more sedate canine friend. If you've always wanted an athletic mastermind as your best friend & adventure buddy, you must come meet Train today - he's waiting for you!If you'd like to meet Train and all his friends at the New Hampshire SPCA, please visit our Adoption Center during our open hours: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed). Have questions? Call (603) 772-2921 ext. 110 or email info@nhspca.org today. Primary Color: Brown Brindle Secondary Color: Black Weight: 26.8 Age: 1yrs 2mths 0wks
