Story
Ringo is a 50 pound 3 year old mostly pitbull mix. A rescue in South Carolina was desperate for someone to foster this good boy before he was very unnecessarily euthanized. He was left tied up on their doorstep, which is an unfortunate common theme in the south where many towns have very strict laws around pitbulls. I picked him up and brought him home to New Hampshire last week, in hopes to fully adopt him. I have a senior dog who is not adjusting well to an energetic boy so unfortunately I do need to find him a different forever home. He's good with other dogs but very playful. He LOVES people and cuddling. I've had a very easy time training him over these past few days because he is such a great listener. If you're patient in telling him no when needed, he will be the BEST boy. No charge, just a promise to give him love. I'm willing to drive any distance for the right home.

Story
Ruby is a sweet, gentle one year old girl who is still finding her footing here at the shelter. New environments can feel overwhelming for her, so she may come across as a bit shy at first but underneath that timid exterior is a loving heart just waiting to bloom. Ruby will thrive in a calm, quiet home with a patient family who understands that trust takes time. She’d do best with older children who can respect her need for space and move at her pace. With consistency, kindness, and lots of reassurance, Ruby will slowly show you just how special she is. She’s looking for a family willing to give her the grace to settle in, the love to help her feel safe and the patience to let her confidence grow naturally. If you believe the best bonds are built gently and over time, Ruby just might be the perfect match for you.
