Zinc is an 8 year old boy who recently lost his brother. Since then he has been very sad and needs another sibling to keep him happy. I am unable to give him the attention he needs so it is a hard decision to rehome him. He loves to cuddle and is a calm dog.

Bear is a great dog, your typical husky. Loves to talk and chew toys. He knows a good amount of tricks and is well behaved. He has a history of seizures and an issue with a salivary gland in his mouth that need vet attention. He is 9 years old and neutered. He was born here in NY and spent a few years with us in Alaska before we came back here. We are looking for a home that can not only give him the vet attention he needs but also the attention at home as he is overweight and needs the care to manage that.

Story

Skye is a dog we took in while we lived in Alaska after her owner passed away. She is a very chill and loving dog. Loves to go on walks but otherwise just kind of hangs out. She has recently developed a concern with her bladder, it seems to be urinary incontinence but undiagnosed. Will likely need medicine for that but otherwise no health problems. We are unable to provide the vet care and have busy schedules where we have wanted to look for a home where she can thrive with the proper attention both at a vet and in the home.

🙃 Describe their temperament: Dumplin is a oversized goof ball, that loves everyone and is always happy. Coming home to him always puts a smile on my face. 🔋 Energy level: Medium - Typical pet energy; will need walks and/or play sessions to fulfill energy needs daily. 🔓 Are they crate trained? Yes 🚽 Are they potty trained? Yes 🎓 Known commands (if any): Still learning and working with him 🔗 How do they do on leash? He is ok on a leash, but still could use work. Dumplin is still very much a big puppy. 🥎 What is their favorite toy? Not sure about toys, but he loves to run. Dumplin likes to make a game out of running and I love watching him. 👠 Can they differentiate toys from items they are not allowed to chew on/play with? Only chews on Benebones. He is a very good boy 🩶 Likes: People, dogs, very easy going ✖️ Dislikes: BEHAVIOR 🐩 How do they interact with other dogs? He is good with other dogs, but sometimes he doesn't understand his size. Dumplin is learning to be more gentle with smaller dogs. 🐈‍⬛ How do they interact with cats? Other small animals? Unknown 🍼 How do they interact with kids? Unknown 👤 How do they interact with people? Meeting strangers? Strangers coming up to the door at home? Dumplin seems to be good with everyone. Sometimes he will bark at the neighbors. 🚕 How do they do in the car? Dumplin is great in a car, but sometimes he doesn't want to get in the car. 🩶 They need more help with...? Dumplin likes to jump up and give hugs. Once again he doesn't understand his size. But I'm just over 5 feet, and he has never knocked me down. He is extremely gently. ─── 📜 Any known history: he is from Georgia! 💌 A note from my foster: Dumplin has a very outgoing personality. He is one that has fun with everyone and everything. He can make anyone smile in just a few minutes. Just remember he is a larger boy. If you want a 50 pound dog, he is NOT for you.

Working on it 🚽 Are they potty trained? Working on it 🎓 Known commands (if any): sit 🔗 How do they do on a leash? She does not pull on a leash . She walks by my side. 🥩 What is their favorite snack? Any dietary restrictions or allergies? Any . No restrictions. 🥎 What is their favorite toy? All of the toys 👠 Can they differentiate toys from items they are not allowed to chew on/play with? She’s a puppy - she will play with all of her toys , but if she sees a slipper she may grab and run. 🩶 Likes:toys , people , walks , rides in the car - she likes all of the adventures. ✖️ Dislikes:n/a BEHAVIOR 🐩 Describe how do they interact with other dogs? She is easy going - playful, but will take a correction from a dog if she is too much. She did well with my neighbor’s black lab this weekend when I was pup sitting. 🐈‍⬛ Describe how do they interact with cats? Other small animals? She’s curious with guinea pigs , not cat tested. So far she does not show a very strong prey drive. 🍼 Describe how do they interact with kids? Loves kids. No concerns. 👤 Describe how do they interact with people? Meeting strangers? Strangers coming up to the door at home? No concerns ,no red flags - just a happy go lucky puppy. 🚕 How do they do in the car? Great ! She loves car rides. 🧼 How do they do in the bath? She tolerates it fine 💅🏼 How do they do for nails? She’s indifferent w/nails 🤝🏼 How well do they tolerate general handling? No concerns - basic silly puppy. She is fine when she gets held for cuddles or to do nail trims etc. 🩶 They need more help with...? Basic puppy stuff - potty training, basic commands. 📜 Any known history: no 💌 A note from my foster: Frenchy Fry is a very sweet girl with the most beautiful eyes . She’s playful and cuddly , loves everyone she has met so far , is very comfortable riding in the car and making road trips to places like Country Max and Pet Smart . She deserves a great home!
