Story
DOG-FRIENDLYADULT ONLYNolan was picked up as a stray in Taberg and found his way to the shelter. He weighs about 50 pounds and is an active boy, but has the leash manners not to pull while out walking with volunteers. He loves to play and spend time with people but doesn`t mind exercising independence when the time calls for it. Nolan`s a bit restless in the shelter and is eager to get out of his kennel but he calms down nicely once he`s out in the sunshine where he can relax.

Story
Princess was picked up as a stray in Syracuse and weighs about 72 pounds. Princess is not the dainty lady from Princess and the Pea. She channels Merida`s wild spirit and desire to run free. She`s also a herding dog at heart, chasing balls twice her size around the play yard. As an active dog, she`s sure to keep everyone fit and entertained with her antics.

Story
NOT DOG-FRIENDLYAvi was originally picked up as a stray in the town of Cicero and weighs about 68 pounds. He was adopted for several months before his new family unfortunately had to move and couldn`t take Avi with them. Avi is a sweet and gentle brindle boy with an absolute adoration of stuffies and a love of the pool (which is better with toys in it). He`s an easy walker for our volunteers and loves receiving affection before, during, and after walks. If you want a calm and easy going family dog, Avi would be the perfect choice.
