Story
Hi there, I'm King! I'm a sweet, friendly, and somewhat goofy fellow. At 4 yrs old, my curiosity keeps me exploring and my funny side keeps the shelter staff laughing. I'm brave too, not afraid of new experiences. I'm also smart, in fact, very smart. I can show you over 10 tricks I've mastered. I'm energetic and love playtime, but loyalty is my strongest trait. I promise to be your most faithful companion. I'm looking for an experienced owner who can match my zest for life. Adopting me means gaining a forever friend who will bring laughter, loyalty, and love into your life. At this time I think I need a family without young kids or other animals. I've been at the shelter for nearly a year and a half now. I've seen my shelter mates get adopted and find new families- but now it's my turn! Give my friends a call and help me find a home for the howlidays! Available at the Saratoga County Animal Shelter. 518-885-4113

Story
Meet Hodges! This 7 yr old Plotthound Mix is hoping to find a furever home. Hodges is everything you'd every want in a dog- friendly, active, and oh so cute! This handsome boy loves three things in life: food, attention, and exploring the outdoors! An active and energetic family that can keep him mentally and physically stimulated is going to be ideal. Hodges thinks he is the king of the castle, and quite honestly we can't disagree. A home without other animals is going to be necessary for him so he can get all the attention he needs and wants without having to share the spotlight! A home without young kids will be best as well. Hodges would do excellent in an experienced home with a fenced in yard so he can run and play to his hearts content. If you have the pawfect home for him, give us a call to schedule a meet. 518-885-4113

Story
Hi all, Bruce here. I am a senior pitty mix with the most gentle soul you can imagine. I just love everyone and I am looking for someone to love me right back! My friends don't really know much about my past, but they have learned that I am a gentle giant. I am easy going, fun-loving, and have a sweet disposition. I would do best in a home all by myself with no other animals. My friends are learning more and more about me every day, but they would be happy to share everything they've learned if you give them a call! I think a home with a nice warm couch and a backyard where I can sun myself sounds just pawfect. Interested in a handsome gentle boy like me? Give my friends a call. 518-885-4113

Hi everyone Bubs here! I am an adult neutered male ready for a new home! I'm hoping you can help me find that! Here are some things to know about me: - I love all things food and toys! - Being outside is a favorite of mine. I love to explore! - Chasing small critters is tons of fun for me soooo cats and other small animals in the home? Probably not the best. -Other dogs are fine (well, big ones are fine! Small ones? They look like cats to me. ;) ) - I am pretty smart but still learning some skills and tricks! - I love to be loved

Story
Hi everyone, my name is Wicket and I am ready for a new home! I am a 3 yr old mixed breed boy (hound mix of some sort!) and I am hoping you can help me out. See, i am super dooper sweet but definitely need someone who can take their time with me and help me open up and become a confident young man! I think my ideal home would definitely have another dog in it. I grew up with lots of brothers and sisters and seem to settle and seem a lot more comfortable when I am around other dog-friendly dogs. I do need a home without cats though. And kids? Well, older kids may be fine with me. I do jump a lot and like to give hugs. I really am a sweet boy but just need someone who can show me the ropes and help build my confidence! Is this you? Give my friends a call! 518-885-4113
