Hi, my name is Hank the Cowdog! I was found at my foster mom’s workplace. We think I was abandoned. I’ve been living with my foster mom for several months and am ready for a forever home. I like other dogs, but I’m not sure about cats yet. I’m about 3 years old, and have been neutered and chipped. I will come with toys, a crate, and my favorite bed.

This is Artemis. We brought her home from the Oklahoma City Animal Shelter on Jan 30 2026 and she was estimated to be 5 months old at the time, so we estimate she was born sometime in August 2025.She is caught up on shots, and she is fixed. And she has a microchip. We had a breed identification test done on her and will provide the results.She is a medium sized dog, she measures about 17-18 inches at the shoulder and weighs about 40 lbs.She has an incredibly sweet and gentle nature. She does not bark very much at all. She is great with other dogs and cats. And she is great with children.She is crate trained and house trained. She seems to do better on a high-protien dog food. She is a serious chewer so you will want some sturdy chew toys.She is very loyal and will want to stay close to you. She thinks she is a little puppy and loves to cuddle with her people. We will include her crate.

Story

Butter Cup has only one problem. She is either protective of things or is selfish and doesn't want to share. I have two other small dogs she has attacked usually over a chew toy. We no longer give them chew toys, only dental treats. We dog sit friend's three labradoodles and she gets along with them, plays with them, all go in and out the doggie door, eat together, drink water out of the same bowls. A great-niece brought flowers for my wife and leaned them against a cabinet. While waiting one of the small dogs was sniffing the flowers. Don't know what triggered it, but Butter Cup attacked her and she was severly injured losing her left eye. Just minutes before all three dogs went outside together to do their business in the grass. Butter Cup ignored her. Housebroken, sits, stay, lay down, shake, smart dog. Leash broken and likes walks and riding in the car. Does not like loud noises, loud cars, thunder or lightning. She would be a excellent companion for a couple or senior person.
