Story

DNA test shows 73% Great Pyrenees. This sweet boy was dumped and heartbroken once he realized it. I took him in on Dec 28th but I already have 2 dogs & 3 is too many for me at my age. He is a sweet boy but I can no longer keep him at this point, he keeps jumping my field fence and I'm afraid since my street is 50 mph he's going to get hit by a car. He will require a 6 ft fence or even better a ranch or farm to live on. He's good with my 2 dogs and fully potty trained. My vet said in Jan when I took him to get all his shots that he was probably about 1 & 1/2 years old. He has not been neutered (I don't require neutering - Adopt a Pet added that). He deserves a loving home and I think he needs a home where he's not home alone often. He deserves a good home and I'm praying someone will give him a chance! He loves to snuggle and get belly rubs, loves Nylabones and playing fetch.

This older guy was surrendered by his owner. He was with his previous family for approximately 4 years. He was an inside dog who slept in the kids beds. The previous owner said he was well behaved when left alone. His favorite activity is sunbathing like a cat. He has not been trained. He has lived in a house with cats, and birds without problems. His previous owner said he has been near kids ranging from infants to 18 year olds without problems. He is kind of shy, approaching strangers slowly while wagging his tail.He was in a home with another dog of the same size and got along with him fairly well. He was temporarily adopted to a house with another dog, but did not get along with it.Behavior and Habits: People Friendly, Affectionate, Digs, Likes Riding in Cars, Likes Treats, Reserved, Shy

This girl was picked up on Condor Court just off the 900 block of Meadowlake. She was not wearing a collar nor was she microchipped. She is very energetic and people friendly. She is capable of climbing over a 6 foot chain link fence. She walks fairly well on a leash. She loves to have people pay attention to her. Our adoption fee is $25. She has been rabies and distemper vaccinated. She is not fixed, so we would require a $50 spay/neuter deposit (refundable within 2 months with proof of spay/neuter from a licensed veterinarian).

Koa is a 4 year old dog is can be very active and wants to play. He is a boxer, and I received him when he was a little puppy. My brother and I have been taking care of him. As we are both teachers and moving different directions we are looking for someone to take Koa into their lovely family. Koa has not been around many dogs besides our neighbors dog that is fenced in. He has never been around children before. We are hoping to find someone that has time to keep him active and knows how to deal with dogs getting into things they are not suppose to.

This big girl was relinquished to our shelter. She is very friendly with other dogs. She loves to go outside for a while, but is very much an inside dog. She is very affectionate with people that she knows, but can be shy near strangers. She loves to climb atop the dog house in the play yard, but has not tried climbing fences. Jeri loves to chase after balls, still learning how to fetch.
