Story
Bubble Profile: We are having to rehome our sweet puppies. Our vet recommended that this would be the best option for them. We would like them to stay together if at all possible. Bubbles has a very sweet, calm temperament. She loves to cuddle, enjoys ear scratches, and will happily relax at your feet all day if allowed. She is spayed and microchipped. Bruce is a bit more playful than Bubbles. He enjoys affection and side scratches, but his favorite activity is playing with stuffed or squeaky toys-especially when you toss them for him to chase. He does have a slightly sensitive stomach and does best on protein and brown-rice based foods. Bruce is neutered and microchipped. Both Bubbles and Bruce are siblings. They are up to date on all vaccinations, current on flea and heartworm prevention, are crate trained, and do well with school-aged children and older. They may pull a bit on the leash during walks. They will be turning five this month (Nov).

Story
Wallys dad passed away last year, currently he’s in the only home he knows. I have a dog, which I will list separately. I He uses a pet door, however he has accidents occasionally. He is 10 years old. Still in good shape. Reason is because my dog has been attacking him, which I am not happy about. I’ve come to realize this is not fair to him. I hate to do this however it’s for him. He’s not living a good life with being attacked. He requires a lot of attention and needs to be the only dog. I prefer a loving family that mom or dad is home a lot. I haven’t been able to stop his barking at noises or if I leave the house.

Story
Amara is 10 years old, still has energy. She needs a special person that will be home most of the day. She needs to be the only dog as she has to have her needs met. She is not trained but knows, stubborn girl. She had been attacking my other dog, who is also up for adoption. I want the dogs to have the best life for the rest of their lives.

Story
Dump was found... At a dump. He was actually IN a trash compactor. There is very little chance he got into that predicament on his own, and we are so glad he was found before he was hurt. He is approximately 5-years old at intake and came to us very fearful and distrustful of humans, but never aggressive. With the love of his foster mom, he is learning to trust. Dump loves car rides, is learning to walk on a leash, and loves treats and takes them gently. He has so much love to give to the right person. WE ONLY ADOPT LOCALLY WITHIN A 2 HOUR RADIUS OF THE TRICOUNTY AREA. ***Exceptions may be made for seniors or hard to place dogs. If the animal is under the age of 3 years old or has health issues, a vet reference is required which means you must own a pet or have owned a pet in your name. Adoption fee of $290 covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip heartworm test and treatment if needed and any other medical that may be required while in rescue. We only do adoptions on Saturday and not all animals are able to attend so if you would like to see a specific animal please let us know so that we can make arrangements for it to be present at the event. Event locations do vary so please check the homepage to find out where we will be this week. Please do not ask us to reduce adoption fees since all fees help us to cover medical expenses for all of our animals, some of which can be very expensive. Saving lives is not cheap so thank you for your understanding and helping us save as many as possible. Please email lowcountryanimalrescue@ymail.com for an application.

Story
London was pulled into rescue from a shelter to treat an umbilical hernia and a life-threatening infection called pyometra, which was resolved with an emergency spay. She is nervous and shy in social situations, but is comfortable and shows her delightful spirit in a home setting. She currently lives in a foster home with kids, dogs, and cats. Her superpower is playing tug with her foster sisters all day. She is crate trained and house broken. She can be a bit possessive with her food around other dogs so should be fed separately. She is fine around people with food and takes treats gently. London is full-grown at about 30 pounds. One of her quirks is that her eyes are different shades of brown! She would love a Family to match her high energy and who has fenced yard in which to run her zoomies! She currently lives in a foster home with kids, cats and dogs. EST DOB March 2024.
