Story
Our sweet boy, Jupiter is about 7-8 years old. He is one LAZY baby!! He is a big softy and loves to cuddle on the couch. He ONLY BARKS when he wants something, which is usually to go outside to potty, eat dinner, or wants water. We adopted Jupiter 6 years ago from the Charleston Animal Society and he was such a blessing to me and my first son. However, since our family has grown (+2 more kiddos) we are just not able to give him the attention he deserves. He is a very independent fur baby, meaning he likes to hang out more with himself and sleep all day. He is great around older children, who don't want to pull on his ears and doesn't mind too much of our 1-year old to hang out with him, but he prefers to be left alone. We would love if he could go to a home with older children or a family with no children. Jupiter is a great family dog with children over the age of 4-5 years. He is great with MALE dogs only. We do have another dog up for adoption as well and he is included in pic.

Story
Ipkiss is a 7 month old Beagle German Shepard Mix. He was born on a farm near Ridgeville, SC. He is an energetic puppy but also loves to cuddle. He definitely loves to eat and play with other dogs. Ipkiss was given to my sister-in-law, however, she has decided she is not ready for the responsibility it takes to care for a puppy. She is ready to take him to a shelter, but I would like to get him into a good home instead of leaving his well being of life to chance. I am taking care of him until I can find him a good home, but I am currently in the military and gone all day so I’d like to find him a good and loving home as soon as possible. He was given most of his shots on the farm, however, I do have record of his Parvo and Rabies shots (including Rabies Tag). Also, the neutering is up to the adopter. It is not mandatory if you would like for him to not be neutered. If you have any questions, please let me know!

Story
King is about 9 - 10 years old. He can tend to be a very clingy and needy dog at times. He enjoys getting attention and being petted. He sleeps most of the day. Sometimes he still enjoys playing with toys and loves treats. King does have a pet allergy. He has to get a shot every couple weeks to control the licking of the paws. Sometimes the excessive licking can cause brown on the white part of his coat. 2 years ago he got dental work done. He lost a few front top teeth. He’s still able to eat with no issues. King does suffer from bad breath and dental issues.

Story
Arlo is a sweet, energetic German Shepherd mix who joined us two years ago when my son moved back in. Unfortunately, my son can't care for him as needed, and while his basic care is covered, he requires more attention and exercise than we can provide, and it's just not fair to him. Arlo’s temperament is sweet, but his lack of exercise and attention has made him a very anxious boy. He’s been crate-trained and has had rigorous behavior training, though these haven’t been maintained. With patience, someone can restore these behaviors, though it will require effort. Arlo can be territorial over toys, but is not generally aggressive. He would love to play with my older dog and our cats, but he's just too energetic for them. He’s never really interacted with kids, but may accidentally knock small children over with his enthusiasm. Ideally, we'd love to find Arlo a home with someone active and patient enough to help restore his training. It would make him a much happier, healthier boy.

Story
River is a super sweet girl who loves attention. She’s a super chewer so she loves toys but can tear apart anything not strong enough. She’s good with dogs and she is good with my infant nephew but can get a little excited. She’s a bit of a jumper but just wants some love. I love her so much but I just moved and my job situation has changed and I can’t give her the attention that she needs.
