Hello! This is Hays, he’s a 3 year old German Shepard/Border Collie mix. He is a fun loving, playful ball of energy. Hays likes to play with his Kong, go on hikes, and likes to cuddle. In his left eye, he has a case of glaucoma. He received it after a puncture to his eye in the care of previous owners. He can see out of the eye but does have permanent scar tissue. Sweet boy Hays does require eye drops a few times a week. I want to be able to find a loving home for this sweet boy, preferably a cat free home!

In 2020, I adopted Yoda for my parents who had just moved from Harlingen to Burnet, TX. She was a God send for my parents. Fast forward to 2026, Mom has passed and Dad just was admitted to a Memory Care unit that does not allow dogs. Yoda just wants a lap and lots of LOVE.

Yoda was my parent's dog for 6 years. Mom passed away in 2023. Yoda has been a sweet companion for Dad until his health declined rapidly recently. Yoda has been with my family for about a month. We are trying to rehome her b/c my husband's dog attacks her every chance she gets. So sad. Tension is high in our home. She is used to being on someone's lap watching TV. She has her own toys to play with. She just needs LOVE and to feel safe.
