Story
BARKLEY is a real sweetheart. He is a delightful Texas Blend, maybe with a small Lab mix. His two siblings and himself came to us as puppies but they both are long adopted. Somehow, Barkley got overlooked and is now past the “cute and small puppy” stage. However, he still loves to play with other puppies and run around with toys in his mouth. His home is on the ranchette with several other dog friends; a home with a dog buddy would be best to show him doggie ways and to model joy/things to be excited about – like walks are fun and for sniffing and show him how to do things . He is super smart, listens well, and loves to cuddle on you. He is food and treat motivated, so will be easily trainable; he will need weighted bowl so that he can eat in a way that is he comfortable/familiar with. He likes having a crate/den area easily accessible so he could feel secure. He will need housetraining reinforcement. It is Barkley’s turn to get out of foster care. He really belongs in a loving home, with his forever family. Can you have it in your heart to give him one soon please? Barkley spent a month of training at Bobbi Colorado’s Canine Camp. Currently, he is undergoing a month-long refresher course. We all know that this kind of training does not come cheap. We invested in this training, as we do not wish for him to grow up in a "shelter" environment forever. If you are an active family who loves walks, runs, or just the outdoors, Barkley is the one for you all. Go to our website for more pictures of Barkley. We require a home in the Austin metro area with a privacy fenced yard, and children over 8. Barkley’s adoption fee of $250.00 covers his vet exam, age appropriate vaccinations, fecal test, dewormer, heart worm preventative, neuter procedure, and microchip.

Not good with kids, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained,
Story
I received her from a friend’s litter. She’s 5 years old and has been around another small dog the majority of her life. She’s spent some time around a cat but not on a consistent basis. She loves lots of rubs and likes to play. She’s trained with basic commands but is very reactive on walks and when left in the yard for extended periods of time

Story
A sweet lass named BONNIE. We think she is a lab mix but she is definitely a Texan mystery blend. Clyde is sweet and a bit shy who was in a shelter with her brother Clyde. They both had a rough time and a kind soul stepped up and saved them and so they are very blessed! They are now more blessed being in our rescue. This cutie loves chews, treats, stuffed squeaky toys, as well as running and playing with the other dogs. She is all puppy!! Austin, TX area adoptions only. Children over 5 years due to her active puppy ways. A fenced pool if you have one or teach Bonnie safety skills. Bonnie's adoption fee of $350 includes her vet exam, age-appropriate vaccination, fecal test, heartworm/tick tests, preventatives, dewormer, spay, and microchip. Bonnie may not be posted on our website yet. Please fill out the application and type in Bonnie as the dog you are interested in.

Story
Meet Marco! He’s a very sweet boy, I’m not sure what breed he is exactly but my family and I were thinking at least pitbull. I adopted him from Safe in Austin rescue ranch in December 2024. Due to relocation, a busy schedule, and low funds, I’m searching for a new loving home for him. Age/Size: 1 year old, about 76lbs Temperament: Very sweet, smart, playful, and not aggressive. Good with: Kids, other dogs, and cats, he’s not aggressive but he is very playful so supervision is advised. Challenges: He has lots of energy and can be very jumpy when excited. He also gets anxious when alone, and tends to chew, even with toys available. Other Notes: Marco is recently neutered, and up to date on his shots. He often eats too quickly so a slow feeder is advised.

Story
Eazy is a sweet and spirited little guy with a big heart and a brave story. He was rescued from a drainage ditch alongside his mama and sister, Breezy, and has been thriving in foster care ever since. At home, Eazy is confident and playful with his doggie siblings, showing off his energetic and curious nature. Out in the world, he’s a bit more cautious—taking his time to warm up to new pups, people, and places but only a few minutes. His foster is working with him using positive reinforcement training to help build his confidence, and he’s making great progress! Even more helpful is having a kind, confident sibling by his side. He wasn’t bothered by the cat he met recently and is young enough to acclimate to having them around. Eazy would do best in a home with a yard, older children (10+) who can understand he is still learning and can help him learn the do’s and don’ts. He’s a total cuddle bug—curling up in your lap for a nap after a good play session. He loves to run, climb, jump, and is smart as a whip. Maybe he is a future agility or disc dog star? Eazy is crate trained and knows how to use a doggie door. He will need potty training in his new home. If you're looking for a pup with a resilient spirit, a playful personality, and a whole lot of love to give, Eazy might just be your perfect match 🥰 Eazy's adoption fee of $375 includes vet care, age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm treatment, rabies and tick vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and future neuter. Austin, TX area adoptions. Fenced backyard. Children over 10 years.

Story
Aka Threezy Breezy’s journey has been nothing short of incredible. Just 24 hours after arriving at the rescue, she was rushed to the ER and spent a week in ICU fighting for her life due to an intussusception. Thanks to lifesaving surgery and her unstoppable spirit, Breezy pulled through and returned to her foster home stronger than ever. Despite needing a leg amputation and now a "tripod" after her recovery, Breezy hasn’t missed a beat! She’s now a happy, energetic tripod who doesn’t let anything slow her down. Her resilience and joy are truly contagious. Breezy is looking for a loving home that appreciates her strength and sweetness. She’s playful, affectionate, and ready to bring sunshine into your life. 💙 Ready to welcome this little warrior into your heart and home? Breezy is waiting! Austin, TX area adoptions. Children over 8 years. No pool. A fenced yard please. Breezy's adoption fee of $375 includes vet care, age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm treatment, rabies and tick vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and future spay.
