Story
Meet Ollie — a 65 lb elastic band of enthusiasm held together by fur, optimism, and the faint hope that you dropped a snack. He’s 2 years old, tall, lanky, and moves with the confident wobble of a toddler in a cape. His knees have their own opinions. His life motto is “full send.” Ollie lives with a cat and dogs. The cat is the household deity; Ollie approaches her like a mortal at a sacred shrine, hoping not to be smote. He plays well with dogs and thrives at daycare. But his true soulmate is his foster family’s five year old daughter. If she runs, he’s beside her. If she drops a crumb, he materializes. If she’s plotting mischief, he’s already on the committee. Ollie isn’t just fun at home, he’s an absolute star out in the world. He spends his weekends at farmers markets, trails, and busy public spots, and he thrives in it. He loves meeting people, especially kids, greets other dogs politely, and will happily sit and wait while you chat. He would make an incredible companion for someone who wants a dog by their side for everything. Hiking, running, patio hangs, markets, camping trips, daily adventures… Ollie is ready. If you live an active, dog-friendly lifestyle, he’s your perfect sidekick. When he’s not out adventuring, Ollie turns into a cuddle blanket. He melts into couches, flops into beds, and tucks himself into his crate like it’s his personal spa. He LOVES his crate. He knows “sit” and “down”, walks nicely on leash, and is overall a very good boy… except when it comes to recall. He hears you. He considers it. He chooses chaos. He believes he is the neighborhood security system when it comes to squirrels and birds. He doesn’t chew furniture, but the trash can is his greatest temptation. Ollie is not apartment compatible. He needs a yard, an active family, and ideally a dog companion. He would do great with someone who works from home and would thrive going to daycare regularly. If you want a dog who is 50% cuddle, 50% chaotic good, and 100% comedy, Ollie is your guy. He’s house trained, crate trained, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to boost your serotonin daily. Apply to adopt Ollie at luckylabrescue.com!

Story
This is Boone. He is a 9 years old fawn Great Dane. His owner is an elderly person and she can no longer take care of Boone, so she reached out to us asking for help to find Boone a new home. Boone is a senior dog, but he is in excellent health, still believes he's a puppy. He has a sweet personality. He gets along with the other dog in the house, but probably prefer being an only dog. He's never displayed any aggression. He's housebroken and good on a leash and he loves going on walks. If you would like to give this sweet giant boy a new home, please go to our website and fill out the adoption application.

Story
This is Deputy Dewey. He is a Gorgeous 20-months-old Great Dane. Best description of his color- Brindlequine. Dewey loves everyone. He wants to play with all the dogs that he meets. Good around cats. He is a clumsy puppy and full of energy (ADHD). Dewey is house broken. When in the house he can be mouthy and he will chew stuffed animals and pillows, so when he’s not supervised, he needs to be in a kennel. Will need basic training because he has no manners and no regards to “personal space”, but he is learning. He is a typical Velcro Dane. He loves to run outside and play, so it's best that he goes to a home with other playful dog(s). He loves playing in water and likes to go in the car and riding in a gulf cart. Story
This is a courtesy post. Hugh is with Pip's Rescue Pack. for more information, please email pipsrescuepack@gmail.com Before anything you should know that the home that Hugh needs must be: • 1–2 adults only • Very low traffic • No kids • An experienced, confident dog owner • Someone patient who will go slow and build trust • Someone who won’t be deterred by potential lunging and can confidently manage it while avoiding situations that may trigger him This is the general information about Hugh: Hugh is a stunning 3-year-old, 120lb neutered male merle Great Dane who turns heads everywhere he goes. He was found as a stray in San Antonio and he was taken to the shelter. He had Demodex mange, so he was put on the euthanasia list. Luckily PPip's Rescue Pack Foster Grouppulled him out of the shelter and he was provided the vet care he needed. Huge was adopted to a family out of state, but unfortunately it did not work out and Huge is now back at his foster home in Pflugerville. Huge is a happy playful goof ball who loves to explore, romp around, and be near his people. He’s dog-friendly and enjoys playing with other pups. There are no issues in his current foster home, but we became aware that Huge can get stressed around people he does not know, mostly men. His lack of trust of men is probably due something that happened to him in the past. It’s obvious that Hugh has been through a lot. His behavior and physical condition are consistent with a history of neglect, and possibly abuse. When going to a new place, he needs time to decompress and feel secure in his environment. Once he gets settled, you get to see the happy, goofy, playful loving dog that he is. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and endlessly entertaining companion, Hugh is your guy. He’s a gentle giant with a huge heart, ready to soak up love and return it tenfold. Link to adoption application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PRP/Dog
