Story
Up for adoption in Texas: Young Sheldon. Sheldon is a gorgeous, stunning, three-(or so)-year-old boy who weighs about 55lbs, and could use a few more. When we saved him, all the ladies who volunteered to help drive him to his foster home gushed at what a looker he is! This handsome boy loves playing with the other dogs in his foster home, including wrestling and chewing on chew toys. He has a medium energy level. Sheldon will roll on his back and offer you his belly anytime you're willing to rub it! He's so sweet. The shelter we saved Sheldon from gave him his name, although he doesn't seem to love it; he will "come to you" if you make a kissing sound. :) He walks well on a leash and has done well at the veterinarian's office; however, Sheldon appears to have some car sickness, so he hasn't traveled too far. He's currently in the Austin area — so if you're local, it might help him on his journey to his forever home. Sheldon is crate-trained and housebroken, vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. Story
Up for adoption in Texas and New England: Lila. This gorgeous girl is about two to three years old and weighs 54 pounds. She is dog and people friendly and loves to be a social butterfly. Her foster mom describes her as, "playful but not crazy." Lila is living in a foster home with dogs and cats and she loves having her animal playmates. If her future home had another dog or cat, or ones she could play with, she'd love that. Lila travels well and her foster mom says she meets other animals like champ. Lila was a favorite at the shelter, and we're thrilled for her to find a wonderful forever family and live happily ever after! She loves walks around the neighborhood. Lila is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to have a home in time for the holidays! Apply at http://www.luckylabrescue.com

Story
Up for adoption in Texas: Miss Reba. Reba is a sweet, senior lady with a heart full of love and a calm, gentle spirit. At 9 or 10 years young and weighing in at 45 lbs, she’s the perfect companion for someone looking for a mellow, well-mannered dog who enjoys the simple pleasures in life. Reba is visually impaired, but that doesn’t stop her from enjoying life. She gets around just fine once she’s familiar with her surroundings and relies on her other senses to guide her with confidence. She walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys her twice-daily strolls, taking in the world at a peaceful pace. Car rides are another favorite—she’s a relaxed and content passenger who’s happy just being near her people. She loves trips to the pet store to check out all the new smells! Reba would thrive in a home where she is the only dog. She prefers a quiet environment where she doesn’t have to share attention and can truly relax. This sweet girl is well-mannered, easy to care for, and appreciates cozy naps. She may not see clearly, but she’ll feel the love in your home—and give it back tenfold. Reba is ready to spend her golden years with someone who will cherish her just as she is. If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion, Reba may be the perfect match! Please apply at luckylabrescue.com Reba is vaccinated, crate trained, house trained, spayed, and microchipped.

Story
Well, Hello There!! I'm Luna! I'm two years old and weigh approximately 73 pounds. I can come live with you in Texas or New England. My favorite activity is spending time with my foster mom on the back patio and in the backyard. She says I'm great at going for walks, and I enjoy car rides. I'm so smart, I know how to sit on command and am kennel trained. I love other dogs, both big ones and those tiny ones! I like cats, too, though my foster mom says I can be a bit overwhelming to the cat when I get excited to say hello. I would cherish a home where I can receive lots of love, be an active participant in my family's life, and have the freedom to grow my sweet disposition. She sits and stays on command. I'm spayed (whatever that means), vaccinated (that's a funny word), house-broken (I swear, I didn't break anything in the house), and microchipped (that sounds like a sci-fi movie). Story
Up for foster-to-adoption in Texas: Luke. This beautiful red Lab mix is about one year old and weighs about 46 lbs. His sweet eyes are such a window into his peaceful soul! He was a favorite at the shelter Lucky Lab saved him from. We want him to have just the best loving home! Luke is good with people (loves to give kisses) and other dogs (we've seen him give them kisses too!) He did meet a cat and did not react, but of course we can never guarantee how a dog will react to all cats and vice versa. He is decent on a leash and loves to go walking and exploring. Luke is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, ready to go home! Apply at http://www.luckylabrescue.com
