Story
Alaska was a rescue dog that was approximately 1 year old when we adopted her. At that time, we were told the reason that she was surrendered was that she loved to escape and run off. We were told that she could scale tall fences. We have found that to be true over the last 8 years, although she is better about being caught again as she has gotten older. She loves the game coming close to you, then running off again. I've heard that this is common with Shibu Inu. We are both aging and last time I tried to catch her, I twisted my ankle. We believe she would make a wonderful pet for someone younger with more energy. She is incredibly beautiful, and friendly with everyone, and other animals. She is very healthy, we've never had any veterinarian issues. She is house trained. She sheds a lot, so grooming to remove hair is important. We are moving to a newer much smaller house in a colder climate. All of these things make it more important that she be rehomed.

Story
Benji is truly a unique one a kind boy. He has a lot of feelings and he doesn’t quite know how to express them. He’s very sensitive. Benji is beyond goofy, he loves to run around and play. He can take rough housing a little too far but it’s only because he gets very excited. He doesn’t quite realize his size. He gets the zoomies often. The boy loves food. He will eat anything. However. He becomes territorial with food. He needs to be fed behind a baby gate or in a separate room. He knows this and is very easily trained. He would do best with a large backyard or active family. And w/ larger dogs. -Potty trained; will alert when he needs to go outside. -Comes with harnesses, leash, clothes, toys, bed, crate, and slow feeder. Aggression issues w/ territory, food, and when he’s sleeping. May lead to biting, however, not dangerous, and he’s trainable. Please be patient with him. And respect his boundaries. He is an amazing dog he deserves the world.

Story
rehoming my dog, Scrappy Doo. Scrappy is a three-year-old pup. He is generally quiet lives fruit melon for sure yummy , but he has been showing increasing signs of aggression toward small children and is not comfortable around male figures. We recently had new additions to our household — my mother and my baby boy — and despite my efforts to work with him and give him time to adjust, his behavior has become unsafe for our family environment. I was informed that he experienced abuse in his previous home, and I truly believe this has affected his trust and reactions. I want to make sure he is placed somewhere experienced and appropriate where he can receive the right care and setting for his needs.

Story
My brother recently lost his job and is unable to take care of Roux anymore. I am currently taking care of her but I have two dogs of my own so cannot keep Roux forever. She gets along and plays a lot with my medium sized dog but chases my small dog and I have to keep those two separated. Roux is a big goofy girl but can be skittish. She's about 6-7 months old and will need someone who can put some time and effort into training. She hasn't met too many new people and takes a bit to warm up to someone new, so it will likely take more than 1 meet and greet to get on her good side. She's a pretty chill dog, loves belly rubs, and very loyal. Up to date on shots, but hasn't been spayed. She knows basic commands. Still working on fully potty training, my brother used puppy pads with her. She does fine in a crate and she's pretty good with walking on a leash as well. I don't recommend households with small children or small dogs.

Kerr is such a sweet cuddly boy. He just turned 2!! He’s well house trained, potty trained, and kennel trained as well. He loves to be with someone and if he could go everywhere with them he would. He gets a long with kids, I would just suggest older than 5 or 6 years old!
