Story
Cruise is a 7-year, 10-month-old male Schnauzer who is here with his "big sister" Sassy, with whom he has an incredible bond! Cruise is a very outgoing, curious boy who can be a bit of a "busy body", he just loves to know what is going on and he puts this to good use by being the most supportive little "brother" to Sassy, who relies on his eyes and guidance since she has been diagnosed with inoperable cataracts, which does impact her vision. Cruise takes his role as her helper and "brother" quite seriously and it's truly an incredible thing to see!🌟 Ideal Home Sassy and Cruise are looking for a home where they can stay together, surrounded by love and patience. With her gentle nature and his loyal guidance, they will bring double the joy to the right family."We're so excited you're interested in adopting a new furry friend! Story
Meet Sassy, a sweet and resilient Miniature Schnauzer who is almost 9 years old. She has spent her life in a loving home alongside her “little brother,” Cruise, and the two have formed an inseparable bond. They are truly a team and thrive best together.✨ Health & CareSassy recently completed dental surgery, so her smile is healthy and ready for the future. She has been diagnosed with non-operable cataracts, which affect her vision.💖 Her Special Bond with Cruise What makes Sassy’s story extra special is her partnership with Cruise. Story
We have had Cookie since she was a puppy. A year after her, we got Ginger. Cookie has been the alpha dog ever since. Over time they have learned to coexist. Cookie loves to run free. We can’t have her do that where we live. She needs to live on a farm or somewhere like that. When alone, she is sweet, follows commands, and loves to play.

Story
Dexter is a sweet 5 year old, male Staffordshire Terrier and German Shepherd mix. He weighs about 65 lbs. He loves to be outside and cuddle with family on the couch. He loves to fetch balls, to be outside and just being with his people. He also goes by Dex and Dexie. He is a rescue and has been with me since he was a puppy. I’m devastated to let him go but have no choice. I’m getting divorced and the only place I could find to live does not accept pets. He will make the most wonderful companion and family member for a single person, a family with kids or a senior, anybody really. He’s a great, calm and affectionate dog. Ask me anything about him. I want to find the right person or family for him.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet GEYRAN! GEYRAN was saved and cared for by Muscat Dog Adoption before being sent with other rescued dogs to Give a Dog a Home Rescue in Sebec, Maine. She started out being clearly nervous and skittish around us -- and who could blame her after what she's experienced in the world so far? But it's been the most amazing thing to see her change from day to day, becoming more confident and loving and playful from one day to the next. This girl has a lot of love to give, and absolutely adores being loved on. While she still has a long way to go to being her most confident self, with the quick progress she's making, it's clear the only thing standing between her and her best self is a little time and a lot of love. Geyran happily sleeps in her crate with the door open during the night, doesn't bother you when you're still sleeping, and then comes to greet you and get some rubs when you get out of bed. She is a very clever girl, and despite having never lived in a home before, knows to only potty outside. First thing in the morning she follows close behind me to the front door, then goes straight outside to do her business. During the day she naps on her bed in the living room, and makes trips outside with us when we go out. She is a huge fan of taking a walk on the trail in the woods behind our house. We have been trying to convince her to take it easy with short jaunts only while she adjusts from a more sedentary life in the Oman rescue and GaDah rescue, to being more active. Geyran certainly seems to be good with other dogs, because she manages to get on with our dog Apollo, who has a fairly severe case of only-child syndrome and wants everything to be about him. While Apollo does resource guard us despite our best efforts, Geyran takes it in stride. While I don't think they'll ever be snuggle buddies, they get along as well as we ever could have hoped considering what a tough nut to crack Apollo is. Geyran does try to engage Apollo in play sometimes, but our snooty dog has mostly turned his nose up at her. The only chance we've had to see them play together is when we get either Geyran or Apollo worked up and when one starts to do some zoomies, then the other usually can't resist joining in and suddenly they are lapping the house together. When we bring Geyran into the bedroom at night to sleep, she first comes to our bedside to get lots of rubs alongside Apollo before we turn out the lights and she heads into her crate. She's come to love this routine, and she seems so happy when the both of us are giving attention to them together....I think it's her favorite part of the day. It's honestly been making it harder and harder to stop giving her attention and turn off the light each night. I hope someone out there will finally give this sweet, sweet girl the chance she deserves to find her family, and discover all that she has to give once she has a chance to settle down in her forever home.
