The first step in the adoption process is the adoption application which is located on our website rescueandadopt.org/adopt Our website includes a lot of info, including a FAQ page with lots of answers. From there if all looks good we will contact you to schedule a meet and greet with you and a the adoptable kitty. We are a foster system so we do not have a facility. Visits to meet an adoptable animal at a foster family is by appointment only. If all goes well at the meet and greet, the next step from there would be the home check and adoption visit where we bring the kitty with us to your home to ensure that you have all the basic supplies set up in an isolation/ introduction room. We can also help answer any additional questions you may have at this time. Then we would do the adoption paperwork and finalize the adoption. Adoption fees: $150 for kittens and cats under 5 years old. $125 for cats 5 years old and over. We do offer a 15% discount for adopting 2 ADULT cats (over 1 year old) at once. ##2057479##

Holly was originally adopted in back in 2020 as a small kitten. She lived comfortably with a family until they had a baby, and then another baby. Holly was returned after the family said she did not get along with the young children. We do not know how Holly is with other cats, dogs, or older children. Holly is understandably very scared and confused right now. She is a sweet girl, but just needs someone to be patient with her. She has beautiful long hair that will need to be brushed regularly or professionally groomed. Interested in adopting a kitty?! Neazy and Pidgey (formerly Snowflake and Mittens) are a shy but sweet pair looking for their second chance at a cozy, loving home! These floofy girls are talkative, curious, good-natured and low-maintenance cats with impeccable litter and grooming habits. They enjoy bird watching and sunbathing, and love to be loved-on with pets and chin scritches. Neazy will greet you at the door to welcome you in, and Pidgey will be ready to cuddle right up on you as soon as you sit down. They both often get excited "shaky-tails" when receiving pets or treats! These two were pulled from BARCS in May after they were surrendered in a matted, scared condition, but are now decompressed, healthy and ready to love again. Don't let their bad haircuts and tepidness fool you -- these two girls have big hearts and deserve a fresh start.
