Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Female, approx 2 yrs, DLH/calico Personality: calm, friendly, independent, shy, snuggly Tippy is a soft, gentle little fluff nugget. She is pretty quiet, and not vocal except for the cutest meow that she really only uses to politely ask to be put down if you go overboard on the snuggling. Tippy is very curious and loves to follow you around the room and into the bathroom. She is an expert finder of nooks and crannies and will happily explore all the best hidey holes in the house. She's not exploring to hide or anything, just finding joy in the exploration. And for play (no surprise), Tippy enjoys exploring tunnels and using her tunnel as an ambush point for toys or for fly chasing. As for other cats, Tippy is a confident cat, nonchalant and bold in the face of her bigger feline foster brother. Tippy will confidently come up to you on the couch or bed. She loves resting literally at your feet or will tuck up under your knees. Tippy also likes to snuggle next to you on the couch or bed and be petted and adored. She loves chin and face, neck, and rump scratches and all the pets you're willing to give her. What's not to love? Apply today to meet Tippy! _________________________ If you are interested in meeting a dog or cat, we require an adoption application. If the animal has "HAS APPLICATION" listed, they are still available to receive additional applications but also may be in the process of being adopted soon. Apply for a CAT: https://www.citydogsrescuedc.org/adoptable-cats.html City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats. Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us. Cat specific vetting: Rabies, FVRCP. Cats are tested for FIV and FeLV, when age appropriate, but not when born to a FELV/FIV negative mother in foster care. Kittens have age-appropriate vetting to date, which includes deworming, microchip, and the first FVRCP vaccine. Kittens born in care to a negative mother will not receive a FIV/FeLV test. An adopter will need to agree to cover costs of spay/neuter when he/she is age-appropriate (usually 16-20 weeks) and will need to continue his/her kitten vaccines (including rabies) as he/she grows older. Kittens under 12 weeks of age must be adopted in pairs or to a home with friendly resident feline. They will not be considered as singles.

Story
Male, born June 2023, DLH Personality: friendly, high energy, independent, outgoing Meet the Toy Kittens! YoYo, Barbie, Lego, and Weeble are ready to play! Lego Lego is a sweet, gorgeous, floofy boy who loves to play but takes lots of breaks to see if you'd like to give him some pets and belly rubs. He spends much of his time romping with his siblings and playing with toys, but he also likes to chill in his scratching box and observe the action when he needs a little rest. If Lego sees his siblings getting too much attention, he will be sure to nudge his way into the action and receive his fair share of cuddles, then it's off to explore some more. Lego has a gorgeous soft coat and magnificent tail, all of which makes snuggling with him pretty amazing. This sweet boy can't wait to capture your heart!
