Story
We call her Shoe, like the old woman who lived in one and had too many kids, because apparently she was allowed to breed indiscriminately for 10 years (at least) and was living on an open porch before I took her and 4 kits in. She is spayed now, of course, but she's partially deaf from horrifying ear infections that I cleaned up and have since resolved. She's much calmer after having been spayed and is looking for a quiet home where she can relax and find love. She really does want to be friendly, and she sleeps on a corner of my bed when my other cat is not around.

Portia is a petite long-haired gray tabby.  Portia is low-energy and loving.  She was found as a stray.Every PALS cat and kitten has been spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV/FIV and is up-to-date on vaccinations. A note about kittens: if you are adopting a kitten, they may need to complete their FVRCP (distemper) series and may not be old enough for their rabies vaccination. These essential vaccines will be the responsibility of their new owner. Detailed vet records and a calendar of vaccination due dates will be provided. Story
* MY ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED *Calling all heroes! We’d like to introduce a very special cat named Ninja. He is a 3 year old, and has a progressive case of FeLV – or Feline Leukemia Virus – which will shorten his lifespan, and we are hoping to find him a loving indoor-only home where he can live out his life. Despite his diagnosis, he can be social and affectionate with those he knows, once he is comfortable in his new space. Ninja would need to be the only cat in the household, or have feline friends that also have FeLV. Interested adopters should click the inquire button below to learn more and shelter staff will provide additional counseling on FeLV and answer any questions at the time of adoption.More info on FeLV can be found here: https://veterinarypartner.vin.com/default.aspx?pid=19239&id=4951934
