Story
***Video of him can be seen on our Facebook page here.*** Angel is such a beautiful cat you might wonder why he's been at the shelter so long... Angel needs people who can understand his need to feel safe due to everything he has been through. To some people, this makes Angel appear "damaged". He's not damaged though. The world (until now) has just been unkind to him. He deserves a home who will make him feel cherished and loved. Angel does not like other cats and will react with extreme fear. This is likely as a result of being tormented when outside on his own. He should without a doubt be an only cat with a family all to himself. Angelis (Angel) was found as a stray in pretty rough shape. He had fleas that tormented him so much, he'd scratched most of his fur off. He was eating whatever he could find which doesn't seem to be much. He was very thin and had a hard time holding his food in when we first met him. This was months ago, though he still has the occasional stomach upset if not kept on a mild food (like sensitive stomach). Now Angel is so much stronger and we love watching his coat come back! He is simply gorgeous! He loves people. He gives the sweetest head bumps when being fed each morning. And he loves to have his chin scratched. Story
Approximate Birthday 11/4/25 Clark At 5 months old, Clark is a ball of energy who is looking for a home with other young cats or dogs to play with. He loves to play chase and fetch, and wrestles with other cats for fun. Clark also loves to hide around corners and jump out at you to surprise you around your house! In other words, Clark is a Griswold, bringing life and fun to your home! Clark can't wait to spend time snuggling (when he tires himself out), share your popcorn, and bring joy to your day! **All Shelter to Home animals are fully vetted per their age. We believe in pediatric spay and neuter. All animals will be spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV or heartworm, given age-appropriate boosters and rabies, dewormed, flea treated, and anything extra that is needed to give this animal a wonderful forever life in a permanent home. Adoption fees are usually $50 for cats and between $150-$250 for dogs, unless the pet is sponsored or we are running a promotion. Please visit our website at sheltertohome.com for information on our adoption process.**April 18, 2026, 5:56 pm

Story
Due to technical issues with some adoption sites, please email us directly at info@sheltertohome.com to inquire about adopting or to ask questions. Please include the animal's name in the email. Birthdate Feb 14th,2015 What Valentine needs. A home with no other pets or young kids. A home that will understand her opinion. A home that will love her forever A quiet less busy house What Valentine currently has A foster home with other cats and large dogs A foster home with a young child A foster home that understands her opinions Valentine loves to nap on the foot of my recliner, on the back of my recliner and a spot on my bed where she won't be disturbed. She likes to get pets but not so much that puts her on edge. She allows me to trim her toe nails, wipe her eyes once in a while and she likes to be brushed. She doesn't love going to the vet so she needs a little something to help her stay calm. She loves me and my husband just not the rest of the hustle and bustle of the house, I had foster kittens and she was ok with them but the other adults seem to be her biggest issue. She is not a hider, she is social. When agitated she has swiped and occasionally used her teeth. I don't think she means to hurt as she has tried to bite me when I have pushed her so I could get a feel for her. She puts her teeth on you but doesn't really bite to injure. If you pull away you may get a scratch. I keep her nails trimmed so swipes don't have the opportunity to scratch. But in a calm less intimidating home I don't feel like this would be an issue. **All Shelter to Home animals are fully vetted per their age. We believe in pediatric spay and neuter. Story
We are looking for a loving and responsible home for our two amazing cats, Pumpkin and Spice. They are a bonded male and female pair, both 3 years old, and must stay together as they are very attached to each other. Pumpkin (orange, male) and Spice (calico, female) are in excellent health, spayed/neutered, and up to date on all vaccinations. They are very well-trained, well-behaved, and affectionate. They love treats, cuddles, and playtime, and have never shown any aggression. They each have their own unique personalities but complement each other perfectly. Please note: this website only allows listing one cat at a time, but they are a bonded pair and will only be rehomed together. This has been a very difficult decision. Due to my wife’s worsening allergies, and after trying everything possible, our doctor advised this may create health risks as we plan to grow our family. We are in no rush—our priority is finding the right loving home. All supplies included.

Story
Chloe is a bit shy at first but once she warms up she is playful and affectionate. She loves treats, to be brushed, petted, and being the center of attention. Chloe is a vocal cat who will seek attention once she is comfortable with someone. As you can see from her profile picture she does love a good basket or bed to curl up in for nap time. Chloe is a senior at 14 years old but other than some arthritis (currently gets shots once a month for it) she is in very good health. She lost her human about a year ago and now lives with her human’s friend and her 3 cats. Unfortunately, the two younger male cats she lives with now tend to bully her quite a bit so it is not the best environment for her. She would do best in a home where she is the only cat with someone who will shower her with love and attention.
