Story
Hello, This is really hard for me to write, but I’m looking for a loving and experienced new home for my dog. He’s a German Shepherd/Husky mix, and in a couple of months I’ll be leaving for the military. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to take him with me, and my biggest priority is finding him the right, safe home. I want to be completely transparent: he has shown aggression toward new people in the past. He is very cautious and protective, and he does not warm up to strangers quickly. He needs slow introductions and someone who understands dog behavior and is experienced with larger, strong-willed breeds. That said, once he trusts you, he is incredibly sweet, loyal, and affectionate. He bonds very deeply with his person and is loving, playful, and devoted in the home. This is not an easy decision, and I’m committed to finding him the right fit not just any home. If you have experience with protective breeds and think you might be a good match, please message me I’m happy to answer.

Story
Otto is a very friendly, smart, and curious German Shepherd. He is very active and loves to run, play fetch, and carry his food bowl around proudly. He can be nervous in new environments and loud sounds and sudden movements can startle him. He loves meeting new people and treats. He does have some seasonal allergies so he takes benadryl daily and sometimes needs Cytopoint injections in the summer if he gets too itchy. He needs to be kenneled while you are gone as he is a busy body and will find something to get into. He knows basic commands and walks pretty well on a leash as long as he has his gentle leader on. He is a rough chewer and needs to be monitored with his toys or he may rip up and eat them. I don't recommend him around cats or small animals as his herding instinct is strong and he may chase them. He can be possessive of toys around other dogs but has never harmed another animal. He may be frightened of small children.

Story
Marty is a 1 year old GSD. He's an energetic dog that needs room to run, more than what I can provide. He came from a breeder last year from a "surprise" litter. He's well cared for, and has a straight back with really good hips.

Story
Koda is a sweet and loving boy but he is also very reactive. We need someone who is knowledgeable about this and will take time for multiple introductions to his new family if needed. He’s really smart and highly food motivated. He’s about 6 years old. He loves to flop and cuddle and does get along with our cat, which he has grown up with. But I fear introducing him to new pets because of the reactivity. Going through a separation and neither of us can afford to keep him so looking for a safe, loving home who is prepared for the reality of loving a reactive dog.

Story
rehoming my dog is a deeply emotional and heartbreaking decision, made only after careful thought and genuine love. My dog is a loyal, affectionate, and gentle companion who brings warmth and joy to everyone around them. Unfortunately, due to unavoidable family health circumstances, I am no longer able to provide the safe and comfortable home they deserve. This choice comes from a place of responsibility and compassion, with the hope that my dog will find a nurturing, patient, and loving home where they can continue to thrive, feel secure, and be cherished as part of a family.
