Story
About Lola Lola is a joyful, playful girl who brings equal parts fun and heart to every day. She loves zooming around the yard, fetching her favorite toys, and showing off her silly personality. Once she’s decided fetch time is over, she’s back to her signature zoomies, they’re her favorite way to celebrate life! When it’s time to wind down, Lola enjoys cozying up in her room on her dog bed. She sleeps in a gated space with her foster’s other dogs and loves being tucked in with a blanket at bedtime (especially since her foster likes to keep the room chilly). Home Life Lola is crate-trained and walks right in when it’s time, though she’ll give one gentle whine to share her opinion before settling quietly. She does best when crated for up to about four hours at a time and has shown no barking or destructive behavior while crated. She’ll give a friendly bark when the doorbell rings but is easily redirected to a calm “sit” and “stay.” Lola enjoys watching the world go by from the front window or through the yard gate, and she’s impressively quiet while doing it, zero barking at passersby or neighborhood noise! Out & About Lola is a dream travel companion! She rides calmly in the back of the SUV and doesn’t bark or fuss at drive-thrus or people nearby. On walks, she’s made incredible progress, remaining non-reactive to other dogs, people, and squirrels, and learning to relax and enjoy sniffing at her foster’s side. Vet & Social Skills Lola is a star at the vet! She’s had full exams, ear cleanings, and even her anal glands expressed with ease. The staff loves her calm, friendly demeanor. She’s also had a successful playdate with a male Great Dane, showing that she can enjoy canine companionship with the right match. Personality Sweet, smart, and affectionate, Lola is the perfect balance of playful and gentle. She’s the kind of dog who will make you laugh during the day and melt your heart at night. Whoever adopts Lola will be incredibly lucky to welcome this loving, loyal girl into their family. ##2570322##

Story
Hey there, I am Gordy aka Gordon (when I’m not listening) and Gordito Crunch (when my foster mama is playing with me)! I am a 5 year old Great Dane/Great Pyrenees mix. That just means I’m extra great of course! I have the Great Dane height and body but a Great Pyrenees head with the Pyrenees shedding.  I was originally surrendered as a puppy due to having special back legs. I was adopted to a wonderful family but returned back to rescue because of my sensitivity to frequent visitors. I get that from the Great Pyrenees side - I feel the need to protect my home and yard.  I love hard and love attention from my humans but don’t enjoy people I don’t know initially when they enter my home. I take my job of protecting the home seriously and need my humans to prove to me that they can control and protect the house so I don’t have to worry about it. I really respect boundaries and expectations that are presented to me by my humans!  I  graduated a 5 week board and train program  in 2023. I have strong obedience skills and am looking for a home who can hold me accountable to those skills. I know how to walk well on leash, the place command, heel, come and all of the other skills I need to be a well mannered boy. I am trained with an eCollar and a prong collar for walking. My future family should be comfortable with those training tools.  I really love to play with toys and other dog friends. I’m a total goofball but have shown resource guarding over food with other dogs. I prefer to eat my food and bones in my kennel or in a separate room from other dogs however, as I get older I am much more relaxed. I am also good with cats though have never lived with one.  I really love my kennel. I will sleep there at night, when my foster parents are gone or when there are visitors at the house. I can also be left out to free roam at night though I prefer to sleep next to my foster parents bed or in the hallway so I can keep a watchful eye on my humans.  Remember how I was surrendered as a puppy due to having special legs? Well, I still have special back legs. I was born with slightly twisted femurs so I walk a bit differently and have arthritis in my back knees. I love to run and play but can be sore after playing all day long so I occasionally take gabapentin to help. I also require daily joint supplements to help my bones stay healthy. I have a pet insurance policy that will be transferred to a potential adopter - they will be expected to continue to keep that in place after adopting me.  Foster Mama Here:Gordy is the bestest boy. We fostered him when he was a puppy as well. We do not let him greet new visitors at our house and require him to stay on his bed in a “place” while visitors are here or in his kennel. He does like to meet people slowly and at a good pace. We would walk his adoptive family through the intro process that he is successful with. Once he knows and trusts you he will forever welcome you as a family member of his.  Gordy has so much potential and loves so hard. But he will require owners who can set strict boundaries in the home and hold him accountable. His breed and genetics make him want to protect his home and people but if you a set boundaries he is such a great listener. We walk him on a prong collar and he is eCollar trained. His adopters will need to commit to continued use of these training tools and also meeting with his board and train trainer to learn about everything he knows. Gordy is muzzle trained. He is great at the groomer! Gordy loves the snow and playing outside. His favorite is his doggy pool in the summer. We have 4 other dogs in our home and he plays with all of them.  Gordy lived with kids in his first home. He was very protective over them so we do not recommend he go to a home with children under the age of 12. He could thrive in the country as he will bark when he sees humans and dogs walking by the home. ##954057##

Story
Meet Pixie! This petite, pretty blue girl lives up to her magical name! At just 2.5 years old, Pixie has already been on quite an adventure—several homes, a stray in the Twin Cities, and finally rescued thanks to her microchip. Now, she’s ready for her happily ever after!  Pixie is sweet as sugar and playful at heart. She LOVES toys, enjoys a good nap on the couch, and is happiest when she has a family to call her own. She’s already house-trained, kennel-trained, and knows some basic obedience—but she’d thrive with a family willing to keep teaching her new tricks. Because Pixie thinks the best treasures are hers to keep, she’d do best as the only pet in the home. That way, she can soak up all the love, snuggles, and attention she deserves.  Now spayed, fully vetted, and full of hope, Pixie is ready to bring joy, laughter, and love into the right forever home. Could that be you?  ##2506654##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Prissy, Our Brindle Great Dane Beauty  Age: 3 years Breed: Brindle Female Great Dane Location: United Doberman Rescue – www.uniteddobermanrescue.org Prissy is an absolutely breathtaking brindle Great Dane whose gentle soul is every bit as beautiful as her stunning coat. At 3 years old, she is the true embodiment of the gentle giant—soft-hearted, affectionate, and wonderfully calm in every way. This sweet girl is excellent with other dogs, CAT friendly, getting along easily and respectfully with canine and feline friends of all shapes and sizes. She is also adorable with children, moving around them with that magical Great Dane awareness and patience, offering snuggles, leaning in for love, and becoming an instant gentle companion. Prissy’s owner cares deeply for her, but due to limited resources and Prissy’s ongoing care needs, they made the incredibly loving and responsible choice to surrender her. This girl comes from love, and it shows in her tender demeanor and her longing to be close to those who care for her. Prissy does have a few manageable health needs: she has allergies and is currently on thyroid medication, both of which help keep her comfortable and thriving. She simply needs a foster who can continue her care, give her a stable routine, and provide the affection she craves. But to help Prissy take her next steps toward a forever home, we urgently need a foster home who can welcome this remarkable girl. Prissy’s Ideal Foster Home Would Offer: Room to stretch out — she’s a big, lovely girl who enjoys soft beds and comfy spaces. Friendly resident dogs who would enjoy a gentle, respectful companion. Kids who would adore having a calm, giant snuggle-buddy follow them around. Consistency with her thyroid meds and willingness to support her allergy management. Kindness, patience, and a loving routine — which is all Prissy has ever wanted. Prissy is the kind of dog who quietly leans her head into your chest for comfort, who pads gently through the house like a giant, loving shadow, and who brings a peaceful, grounding presence everywhere she goes. She is not demanding. She is not high-energy. She is simply a gentle soul longing for a safe, caring place to land. If you have room in your home and heart to host a giant who gives back tenfold in love, Prissy is waiting for you. Please consider stepping up to foster this extraordinary girl so she can finally get the care and comfort she deserves. Story
Alice is an 8-year old Great Dane/Labrador mix and a certified velcro dog! At 104 lbs, she is spry and energetic for her age with short bursts of energy before settling back into her favorite pastime: snoozing. Alice will happily follow you around from room to room just to make sure she doesn't miss out on the action!Alice adjusted easily to her foster home and has proven to be an easygoing and loyal companion. She is house-trained and crate-trained, and is happy to go into the crate when asked. When she gets excited, she will grab her favorite soft, squeaky toy and prance around the room, letting everyone know how happy she is. She shows her affection by gently nuzzling or leaning into you for pats, and her favorite way to ask for belly rubs is by rolling onto her back and waiting patiently. She’d thrive in a home where people are around often and where she doesn’t need to be crated too much, otherwise she may bark on and off. She doesn't get very vocal, but when she barks it can be loud. She usually makes a quiet "woof" when she needs to go outside or is hungry (if you haven't attended to those things already). She can sometimes bark when crated, but it never lasts that long.Alice is a creature of habit who thrives on routine, anticipating each part of the day from eating to walking to going in her crate on her own. Her foster family says that training has been a breeze—Alice now knows to sit and wait before eating, receiving treats, and getting her harness on for walks. She only asks for love and a comfy couch to lay on.She loves people and forms a special bond with women. She is social with other dogs and loves making new friends at the dog park. She cannot live in a home with cats. Alice has a lower energy level overall, but she loves going outside! She loves to go on hikes and is surprisingly great on a leash, not pulling at all.She might be 8 years-old, but Alice still has a lot of love, life, and joy to give! Are you ready to meet this sweetheart? If you are interested in Alice, fill out an application at this link to get the ball rolling - https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $250. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.

Story
WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🐾 Pleased to meet you - I’m Panda! 🐾 Part marshmallow, part zoomie machine, and 100% good boy. I came in on the skinnier side (hey, rescue life isn’t exactly a buffet), but I’m filling out nicely thanks to regular meals, snacks and love... lots and lots of love!! At 2yrs and 70lbs I’m already the total package: housebroken, crate trained, and doggy-door certified. I love people of all sizes, though my big, playful energy is better matched with bigger kids and medium-to-large doggie siblings. Small pups might find my enthusiasm a little…extra. But don’t worry—I’m a gentleman and happily back off if another dog says “nah, bro.” (Even Chad’s grumpy old pit bull approves.) My hobbies? Oh, just the usual—water splashing, toy stealing (ahem…sharing), and epic backyard zoomies. I walk like a dream on leash and would love to be your partner for strolls, hikes, or jogs. Underneath all the silliness, I’m a soft-hearted guy who just wants a family to call my own. Someone to laugh at my antics, throw my toys, and remind me every day that I’m finally home. 🖤🤍 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and get ready to add a little Panda-monium to your life. I promise it comes with lots and lots of cherished moments and unlimited cuddles!!!
