Reba Red is a sweet, smart girl who loves kids and other dogs. She follows her foster family around, watching and learning from them and their dog, making her a quick study when learning new things. Potty training is in progress, but very close. As with any dog, a new place typically means a few accidents, so we think she will be fine once she settles into her foster home. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. Welcome Cheeto. He is a 6 month old Great Dane mix. He is 67 pounds right now and may be 80 pounds full grown. Cheeto is a great dog. He loves treats and will sit when asked to with a treat. He loves the lady kennel workers. He is timid which is common in this breed but he is very friendly and affectionate. He would be great with someone that knows and understands this wonderful breed. He was found on the streets of Texas and was taken in by a good Samaritan. He can go with children. We like them to 8 or older. He would love to be a companion for the right family. He will love being a house dog and he is energetic but not for too much time and he settles down nicely. If you have a fenced back yard, he can get enough exercise exploring it. He could also go on walks. He does pull some but he really wants to do what you are asking so consistency with him will work wonders. He is currently neutered, vaccinated, healthy and ready for his forever home. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is $200.
