Story
Willy is almost 3 years old and is a rescue dog. Willy is a lovable dog with a lot of energy. We live in a walkable area with a small yard. Willy usually will announce when someone is walking by. He has more energy than our small yard can provide. Willy is not great with cats. And while he seems to like other dogs, we have another dog (here before Willy) and Willy can be aggressive and domineering to her. Willy loves attention and we believe would be more happy in a home with a large yard where he is the only dog. He is very smart and could use consistent training. In addition to the Dane and Pyrenees, Willy is also part terrier which has kept him a medium size rather than a large dog.

Story
Hi Friends! My name is Magnolia but everyone calls me Maggie. I am a spayed, female Great Dane that is 1.5 years old. If you are looking for a funny girl who is well trained and has a willingness to please her family, then I am your girl. I am a cute petite lady that loves attention and playing. My interests are eating water biscuits, wiggling my butt, and playing with all the toys at once. I am well trained and listen to commands; however, being consistent will keep me out of mischief. I am fully potty trained, and crate trained, but I am vocal during the day while in the crate. I sleep in my crate at night and I am so worn out from my busy day that you won’t hear me make a sound. I would like to find a forever home that will continue being consistent with my training and take me on walks. While I've been able to do ok with other doggos, I'm not predictable and therefore need to be the only pet in my forever home. If there are family member doggos that might come by, I'll need to be muzzled at all times with them, even if it seems like we are getting along nicely. I love my muzzle, as I know I get to have a good time when I'm wearing itl!  Sometimes I can get overwhelmed with chaos and get too excited so a Great Dane savvy family is what I’m looking for.  I can’t wait to find my very own home because I am a lover that appreciates attention. ##2319866##

Story
Hey there, I am Gordy aka Gordon (when I’m not listening) and Gordito Crunch (when my foster mama is playing with me)! I am an almost 3 year old Great Dane/Great Pyrenees mix. That just means I’m extra great of course!  I have the Great Dane height and body but a Great Pyrenees head with the Pyrenees shedding.  I was originally surrendered as a puppy due to having special back legs. I was adopted to a wonderful family but recently was surrendered back to rescue because I can be a strong personality. I get that from the Great Pyrenees side.  I love hard and love attention from my humans but don’t enjoy people I don’t know initially. I take my job of guarding the home seriously and need my humans to communicate and prove to me that they can control and protect the house so I don’t have to worry about it.  I recently spent a month with a really nice lady who taught me really fun things like walking well on leash, a strong place command, heel, come and all of the other skills I need to be a well mannered boy.  I really love to play with toys and other dog friends as long as they are not dominant. I’m a total goofball but have shown resource guarding over food with other dogs. I prefer to eat my food and bones in my kennel.  I really love my kennel. I sleep there at night and when my foster parents are gone. I will counter surf if left unattended.  Remember how I was surrendered as a puppy due to having special legs? Well, I still have special back legs. I was born with slightly twisted femurs so I walk a bit differently and have arthritis in my back knees. I love to run and play but can be sore after playing all day long so I occasionally take gabapentin to help. I also require daily joint supplements to help my bones stay healthy.  I currently take anxiety meds daily. I have been on these since I was young to help with my desire to protect the home. These meds cost about $90 for a 90 day supply so any future adopter needs to be able to continue to pay for regular medications.  Foster Mama Here: Gordy is the bestest boy. We fostered him when he was a puppy as well. We do not let him greet visitors at our house and require him to stay on his bed in a “place” while visitors are here. He is also happy to stay in his kennel. He does like to meet people slowly and at a good pace. Once he knows and trusts you he will forever welcome you as a family member of his.  Gordy has so much potential and loves so hard. But he will require owners who can set strict boundaries in the home and hold him accountable. His breed and genetics make him want to protect his home and people but if you a set boundaries he is such a great listener.  We walk him on a prong collar and he is eCollar trained. His adopters will need to commit to continued use of these training tools and also meeting with his board and train trainer to learn about everything he knows.  Gordy loves the snow and playing outside. His favorite is his doggy pool in the summer. We have 4 other dogs in our home and he plays with all of them.  Gordy lived with kids in his first home. He was very protective over them so we do not recommend he go to a home with children under the age of 12. He has been thriving with a farm life and would do best outside of the city. ##954057##

Story
Introducing Max! Playful Curious Shy Snuggly Hi, I’m Max! I’m a playful, curious, and sweet Great Dane who loves being part of the family. While I might be a little shy at first—especially around men with hats—once I feel comfortable, I’ll become your loyal and loving companion. My zoomies are pretty legendary, and I promise to fill your days with joy and laughter! I thrive on being included in everything my family does, whether it’s playtime, snuggles, or adventures. I’ve lived with children before and did great with them, though I’m not currently in a home with kids. I get along well with other dogs and tend to be submissive and curious around them. Cats? Well, I’ve been a little scared of them in the past, so I’d need careful introductions if my forever home has feline friends. What I Love: Playtime and running around (zoomies included!). Snuggling with my people—it’s the best! Car rides and exploring new places. Elk antlers and playing with balls. Being involved in all family activities. What I Dislike: Rushed introductions. I need a little time to feel comfortable, especially around men with hats. I’m housebroken and crate-trained. I have handled being crated for 8+ hours as needed while my foster family is at work. In my previous home, I did well with free roam too. I already know commands like sit, come, and down, and I’m working on learning shake. I’m also improving my leash manners and getting used to having my legs and paws touched. With positive reinforcement and some patience, I’ll continue to shine. I’m in great health with no concerns—ready to join my forever family! My Forever Home Wish List: Yard: A midsize to large yard where I can play and zoom around would be amazing. A physical fence isn’t required but would help keep me safe. Companionship: I’d love a home with another dog as a companion and playmate. Family: A family willing to continue my training and be patient during introductions would be the perfect fit. If you’re looking for a fun, loving, and adventurous addition to your family, I’m your guy. Let’s make some amazing memories together—I can’t wait to meet you! Max has a playful spirit and a knack for zoomies that will leave you laughing! When he's not running around, he loves to snuggle and soak up all the attention from his family. If you think Max will be a great addition to your family please reach out to us by following one of the options below. 1. Story
Introducing Nyx! Playful Affectionate Outgoing Snuggly Hi, I’m Nyx! I’m a playful, affectionate, and outgoing young Great Dane who absolutely loves being close to my people. Whether we’re snuggling on the couch or playing in the yard, I always want to be by your side. I’m eager to learn, full of love, and always ready for a new adventure! I’m a total Velcro-Dane—I like to follow my people everywhere and be part of whatever’s going on. I even enjoy meeting new people and have been affectionate with strangers! I have been doing well meeting adults and children. When it comes to other dogs, I’m all about playtime! I love to wrestle and chase my foster siblings, and I tend to be submissive around more dominant dogs. I’ve also met ferrets and a cat, and I pretty much ignore them—I don’t have a strong prey drive. What I Love: Snuggling: The closer I am to my people, the happier I am. Playing with other dogs: Wrestling and chasing my canine friends is so much fun! Training sessions: I love learning new things, especially when treats are involved. Morning zoomies: The best way to start my day! Carrying toys around: I like to have a toy with me—it’s comforting and fun! What I Don’t Love: Being left alone for too long: I’m happiest when I have company. Cold weather: It makes potty training a little tricky, but I’m working on it! Not touching my person in the car: I’d really prefer to have access to you! I’m incredibly smart and eager to please! I already know sit, leave it, center, touch, and turn around. Right now, I’m working on heel, off, stay, and down. I still pull on the leash when I get excited, but my foster family is helping me improve. Sometimes, I jump when I’m really happy, so I’ll need my forever family to continue working with me on that. I have been known to display some resource guarding towards people and dogs, so I will need someone committed to helping me with this behavior. I am mostly housebroken, with just an occasional accident at times. I also do well with getting in the car. I’m in great health with no known medical concerns! Since I’m not yet spayed, my adoption contract will include a spay clause. Forever Home Wish List: A physical fence isn’t required, but it is recommended so I have a safe place to zoom around. Any yard size is fine as long as I get daily exercise. A family that isn’t gone for more than 6 hours at a time would be best for me. Any children should be at least 10 years old. Another dog in the home would be amazing! I thrive when I have a canine companion. A patient, loving family willing to continue my training and socialization. Fun Fact: My playful puppy clumsiness makes me endlessly entertaining! Whether I’m zooming around, tossing my toys in the air, or trying to figure out where my big paws are going, I’m guaranteed to make you smile. If you’re looking for a sweet, snuggly, and fun-loving Dane to be your best friend, I might just be your perfect match. I can’t wait to meet you! Her goofy, affectionate nature will make her a perfect companion for the right family!
