Coming to MN was quite an adventure for me. I’m still shy around new people and situations, but I’m getting more confident every day. My foster family is starting to see my silly personality. I LOVE squeaky toys! Wrestling with my blanket is really fun too. I’m working on potty training and quickly getting the hang of it. Walking on a leash is something else I’m working on. I’m trying really hard to be brave away from my house. I'm looking for a patient home where I can feel safe and loved.I would love a house with a doggo friend so that I can have a buddy to teach me things and just hang out with. That would help me to be brave and make me really happy! I would also love a fenced yard. I love to run and chase my toys. My family is teaching me how to fetch. I’ll show you how fast I am. Hi I'm Paris!  I'm a gorgeous girl with the most beautiful coloring!  I'm a sweet loving girl who adores attention.  I adore a good bootie scratch and kisses ear rubs.  I don't always realize how big I am and I will jump up for hugs.  I'm working on keeping all my feet on the floor, but I do try to be gentle when I do it.  I know with some obedience training I'll learn not to do that...unless you like it haha!  I enjoy food and I'm gentle when taking food.  I'm kennel trained and I'm quiet in it.  So far I've had no accidents in my foster home.  Nice right?  I walk and potty on leash.  I pull a bit, but I just need more practice.  My foster mama says I'm not a bad puller though.  I'm good with other big dogs though I haven't met any little ones.  I don't realize that I'm a big lady so little kids would likely get knocked over if they are in my home.  Bigger kids should be just fine though! I'm basically a big puppy and I'm eager to learn and share my love.  I promise to be the best girl and give you all my love! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Big and Chill-axed!! Jet is a 4 year old, purebred Great Dane who was purchased from a breeder when he was a puppy. He was surrendered due to, the other younger 2 year old male Great Dane in the house being intact and suddenly the two males did not get along. (This can be a very dangerous mistake for some breeds due to temperamental changes of an intact dog and let's face it, most neutered dogs do not like intact males!!! Don't set your dog up to fail by having an intact male in your home with other canines!) The owners chose to keep the 2 year old intact male Great Dane and surrender sweet Jet. Jet has done well in group play with the other dogs at doggy daycare. He is a great care rider and willingly does all that is asked for his people. Jet is house trained and a gentleman it seems he is eager to please. He has been trained in his previous home with an electronic fence and e-collar. Jet does have a sensitivity to chicken based food but other than that he is as fit as a horse! Neutered, vaccinated and chipped he is ready to move into his new home! He walks like a true champion that he is on a leash. Jet is a pleaser, who adored his humans and will never push his boundaries. Please apply if you like BIG dogs who are loyal, protective and will be your forever friend.   A bit about Great Danes-Just like the Doberman, my ancestors originated in Germany. Those folks made some really cool dogs huh!!! We are called Deutscher Dogge in Germany!!! All of us Great Danes are noted for our courage, friendliness and loyalty. We are working dogs and need a job, with lots of daily activity. I am a Blue colored Dane but we come in a lovely variety of colors. We were the Scooby-doo's and Ghost busters of the medieval world….today we are called “Gentle Giants”.
