While I might be a little shy at first—especially around men with hats—once I feel comfortable, I’ll become your loyal and loving companion. My zoomies are pretty legendary, and I promise to fill your days with joy and laughter! I thrive on being included in everything my family does, whether it’s playtime, snuggles, or adventures. I’ve lived with children before and did great with them, though I’m not currently in a home with kids. I get along well with other dogs and tend to be submissive and curious around them. Cats? Well, I’ve been a little scared of them in the past, so I’d need careful introductions if my forever home has feline friends. What I Love: Playtime and running around (zoomies included!). Snuggling with my people—it’s the best! Car rides and exploring new places. Elk antlers and playing with balls. Being involved in all family activities. What I Dislike: Rushed introductions. I need a little time to feel comfortable, especially around men with hats. I’m housebroken and crate-trained. I have handled being crated for 8+ hours as needed while my foster family is at work. In my previous home, I did well with free roam too. I already know commands like sit, come, and down, and I’m working on learning shake. I’m also improving my leash manners and getting used to having my legs and paws touched. With positive reinforcement and some patience, I’ll continue to shine. Introducing Patch! Happy Active Social Affectionate Personality: Patch is a playful and joyful Great Dane whose antics light up every room he enters. Despite his deafness and partial blindness, he exudes happiness and energy that are truly contagious. Submissive yet full of life, Patch thrives on companionship and play. Socialness: Patch loves the company of other dogs and would do best in a home with one or two canine companions to share in his playful escapades. His interactions with cats are unknown, so slow and structured introductions would be necessary. While Patch enjoys being around people of all ages, a home without young children is ideal due to his size and exuberance. Likes: Playing with his canine friends. Snuggling with his family. Introducing Apollo! (now called Titan) Goofy Social Energetic Smart Hi, I’m Titan! I’m a curious, affectionate, and playful guy whose favorite thing in the world is just being with my people. I’m your typical Great Dane—I’ll lean into you for pets, follow you from room to room, and make sure I’m never far from your side. I love to run, play fetch, and bask in the sunshine, and when I’m not doing that, I’m usually trying to convince my foster sisters to wrestle or play chase! I love meeting new people and enjoy every bit of attention, especially brushing and ear rubs. I get along great with other dogs—big or small, male or female—and have a blast playing with my foster siblings. I’ve been around kids, and while I’m super sweet, I might be a bit much for little ones unless they’re familiar with big dogs like me. I’m mostly respectful with cats indoors, but I might bark or give chase outdoors if they catch my attention. Likes: Playing ball and zooming around the yard Getting brushed and loved on Being with my people Dislikes: Don’t love being left alone for too long I’m housebroken, kennel-trained, and know lots of commands like sit, stay, wait, fetch, and “kennel.” I go into my crate easily when asked. I may dribble a little if I’m not let out regularly, just from an old UTI that’s healed but left me with a tiny quirk. I walk nicely on leash and would do best in a home where I get plenty of daily exercise and playtime to keep me happy and out of trouble. I’m in great health with no current concerns. I do have a little lump on my back that the vet says is a benign lipoma—it doesn’t bother me at all and hasn’t changed. I’m playful, sweet, and always want to be part of whatever my humans are doing. I’ll even back up into you for some butt scratches—just to make sure you’re paying attention! I love being outside, playing ball, and getting my zoomies in. I can be a little shy at first with new people, but treats are the key to my heart. Once I warm up, I’m a total lovebug! I’ve spent time with a 5-year-old and an 11-year-old and done well. I prefer calm kiddos. Roughhousing makes me nervous and a bit protective. I get along great with other dogs and would love a playful companion. I’m also respectful with cats.
