Story
Hi everyone! I’m Dotty! I am a sweet and gentle dog. I was found with my 4 siblings just roaming the countryside as strays. Coming to MN was quite an adventure for me. I’m still shy around new people and situations, but I’m getting more confident every day. My foster family is starting to see my silly personality. I LOVE squeaky toys! Wrestling with my blanket is really fun too. I’m working on potty training and quickly getting the hang of it. Walking on a leash is something else I’m working on. I’m trying really hard to be brave away from my house. I'm looking for a patient home where I can feel safe and loved.I would love a house with a doggo friend so that I can have a buddy to teach me things and just hang out with. That would help me to be brave and make me really happy! I would also love a fenced yard. I love to run and chase my toys. My family is teaching me how to fetch. I’ll show you how fast I am. If you're looking for a furry friend who will be a loyal companion, then I'm your dog. Let’s start our fur-ever adventure together!--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spay/neuter before adoption unless age is a factor with a puppy younger than 6-12 months at the time of adoption. If that is the case, the spay/neuter will be covered in the adoption fee and the owner will be responsible to have the procedures completed at a Warrior Dog Rescue Veterinarian at the appropriate time. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $525To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

Story
Helllooo Minnesota! My name is Syd and I’m looking for my furever home. Wow, do I LOVE it here! Everyone is so nice to me – I get tons of belly scratches and treats. I’ve overheard my foster parents say I’m a sweet boy and one family will be sooo lucky to get me (I have to admit, hearing that gives me all the ‘feels’)! Mom said my sweet, goofy personality and adorable, good looks get me a lot of attention around the hood. I have big floppy ears and I’m still growing into my feet, which apparently makes me quite entertaining. I have two dog siblings who are a bit older and they are teaching me so much. We play and I’m good and reading the signs when they need a break. My dad is impressed that I’m doing so well with potty training. I haven’t even had an accident in the house; mom keeps me on a pretty strict schedule which helps. I walk well on a leash so I don’t need a fenced in yard, but a fence would be cool to help me burn some of my puppy energy. I’m still getting used to my kennel. I go in there on my own to relax sometimes and I’m getting used to being in it when my foster parents go into the office. I also sleep in my kennel at night (but to be totally honest, I would rather just snuggle up with my humans). One last thing, I’m still a puppy, so a lot of toys are a must! I can entertain myself for hours with these things, so the more the better. If you choose me to be part of your family, I promise to bring you a lot of snuggles, laughter, and unconditional love.--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spay/neuter before adoption unless age is a factor with a puppy younger than 6-12 months at the time of adoption. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please check below to see what upcoming adoption events I will be attending or apply here for a private meeting.  If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there*** DOB: 07/28/2022 Requires another dog in home: No Okay with dogs of all sizes: Unknown, has only met dogs her size Okay with cats: Unknown Okay with children under 12 years old: no, will knock small kids over Weight: 100 pounds  Requires a fenced yard: no Food Fed: Solid Gold Note: dogs must always be leashed whenever outside of a contained area. Invisible/ underground fencing is not recommended for most rescue dogs. Hi I'm Paris!  I'm a gorgeous girl with the most beautiful coloring!  I'm a sweet loving girl who adores attention.  I adore a good bootie scratch and kisses ear rubs.  I don't always realize how big I am and I will jump up for hugs.  I'm working on keeping all my feet on the floor, but I do try to be gentle when I do it.  I know with some obedience training I'll learn not to do that...unless you like it haha!  I enjoy food and I'm gentle when taking food.  I'm kennel trained and I'm quiet in it.  So far I've had no accidents in my foster home.  Nice right?  I walk and potty on leash.  I pull a bit, but I just need more practice.  My foster mama says I'm not a bad puller though.  I'm good with other big dogs though I haven't met any little ones.  I don't realize that I'm a big lady so little kids would likely get knocked over if they are in my home.  Bigger kids should be just fine though! I'm basically a big puppy and I'm eager to learn and share my love.  I promise to be the best girl and give you all my love! Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders.  Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared.  Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption.  This will be at the adopters expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses .   Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue.   Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in th eir forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a    particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit.  Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.     ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there***  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated as the foster home RSVP's to attend. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. You may wish to consider applying and setting up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved.   ADOPTION PROCEDURE: The first step in our process is to complete an online adoption application on our website: http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/adoptionprocess/   Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.  All of our foster animals can be seen by appointment with an approved adoption application. Contact us at http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/contact-us/ if you have further questions.   FOSTER CARE: All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves. If you have an interest and ability to be a foster home, please visit our website  www.underdogrescuemn.com/foster-applications  and fill out a foster application.   NUTRITION: Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal.   YOU CAN HELP: Not able to foster or adopt right now? I love food and will gently take treats from your hand.  I'm told my food motivation will make training easier!  I'm a smart girl so I know I'll be a good student.  I love playing with other big dogs.  I haven't met smaller dogs yet, but I'd probably be fine, but we should meet to be sure they aren't afraid of my size. I enjoy chewing bones and going for walks in my foster home.  I pull a bit, but not bad.  I'm kennel trained and potty trained on a schedule too.  If you want a big lovable girl than I'm the one for you!
