Story
Autumn is a beautiful 3.5-year-old, petite Great Pyrenees mix (66lbs). She thrives outdoors and has strong livestock-guardian instincts. She is excellent with chickens, happily watching over our free-range flock. Autumn grew up with our two boys and is a good watchdog, but as she’s matured she’s become more cautious with strangers and less tolerant of young children, especially around handling. Our busy household, frequent visitors, and travel have become stressful for her. She struggles being left alone indoors and cannot be crated, though she is house-trained otherwise. She is happiest outside, but city living and nighttime barking make this challenging. She is hit-or-miss with other dogs, preferring calm, friendly dogs one-on-one. Autumn is medium-low energy. She responds best to positive reinforcement. She would thrive in a rural area with adults experienced with guardian or anxious dogs, no small children, and space to safely be outdoors. Story
Introducing Kit: part Great Pyrenees, part Doberman, and 100% professional weirdo. She’s about three years old, has legs for days, and a nose that works overtime like a tiny detective on an endless case. Kit has gone from “stranger danger” mode to “sniff your hair while you’re watching Netflix” mode, and that’s what we call progress.   Her daily routine is very official: three laps around her kennel like an Olympic track star before dinner, followed by stealing the couch or your bed because, honestly, she’s royalty and crates are for peasants. She’s learning that humans = belly rub dispensers, and she’s totally here for it.   Kit is a huge fan of dogs, though she sometimes comes in a little too hot on first introductions (think: bossy camp counselor vibes). Once she knows who’s in charge, she’s good to go, and she’s the best babysitter for puppies. What she is not into? Cats, chickens, birds, squirrels, or basically anything small and fluffy that isn’t her designated sibling. For those, her prey drive kicks in and—let’s just say—it’s a hard no.   She’s obsessed with running, but luckily, she’s not a fence-jumper. A nice sturdy yard is her dream stage for zoomies. When she’s not sprinting, she’s all about long walks, soft toys, and claiming furniture like it’s her birthright. She’ll even listen to “leave it” when she’s yelling at the neighbors, which is basically the dog version of good manners.   Kit is still a little shy at first, but once she warms up, you’ll find a goofy, loyal, slightly dramatic best friend who makes the small victories (like coming when called) feel like winning the lottery. She’s been waiting long enough—this couch hog is ready to claim your couch and, more importantly, your heart.       Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $525.00 Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 27, 2026, 11:04 pm

Story
Anyone looking for an intelligent, sweet, squishy, cuddly, cool little dude than look no further.  Nigel has the coolest markings and the prettiest eyes (I swear he can see into my soul). Nigel is already telling me he has to go outside to go potty with a polite paw at the door.  He is so smart.  He loves to play with his brother and equally loves his nap time.  Nigel is eager to please the resident dogs and neighbor dogs… he is a fan of all things dogs.  Nigel loves his people too and is happy to curl up at your feet and will sleep all night in kennel for you to get all your sleepy time.  Nigel too appreciates his sleep. When I leave the house he happily naps in kennel. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Story
Hi! I'm Kyla!    I'm a Great Pyrenees mix who came from Arkansas with my 11 other brothers and sisters, and I'm looking for a new place to call home. I'm a little shy when I first meet you, but it doesn't take long for me to open up! Unless you're a kid. I LOVE kids! There's a park behind my foster parents' house and all I wanna do is go and play! I also love my doggy foster sisters, but they're a lot bigger than me so I'm still trying to figure out how to play with them. I would love a house with a kid or another dog to play with!   I'm getting really good about being in my kennel, but I don't always like going in. Mostly because I would much rather be you! I sleep in there at night, and I only cry for a little bit until I fall asleep. I'm starting to learn that it's my safe space.   I'm VERY food motivated, and I've already started learning how to sit. I'm also doing pretty good with potty training, but I do still have accidents sometimes. I get so excited to see you that I can't hold it in anymore!   While I'm still full of puppy energy, I also love cuddling on the couch, getting belly rubs, and sleeping by your feet when you're watching TV (but sometimes I nibble on them). My favorite toys are the ones with crinkles in them and ones that dispense treats.   Do you have room in your home for a spunky little puppy like me?     Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Story
Mark is a 3 month old Pyrenese-mix puppy with the most striking brindle coloring on his face and body! Mark is the kinda guy you cannot help but love. His foster family took one look at him and fell in love. He needed love, too. He hadn't been loved and cherished much until he came into rescue but his foster family has made up for that. He was shy and skittish when he first came but now he is opening up to them and asking for endless belly rubs. He is still a bit scared of stairs and doors but we think he will get the hang of it all very soon. He is a puppy, afterall. He did not like the idea of "walks" his first day, but by day 2, he was strutting his stuff down the street with the other dogs. While he is not potty trained, we think he would take to it quickly. He sleeps all night long in his puppy pen with a puppy friend. It will not be long before he can sleep all night without a potty break. If you think Mark would be a good addition to your family, please submit an application to meet him soon!  Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
