Story
This sweet love bug is looking for a “pack” to call her own.  Aurea is a 1-year-9-month-old husky mix.  According the the shelter, she has had a rough 2 years and is ready to be part of a family forever.  She came into the shelter as a puppy and then again just a few months ago.     Aurea is the definition of a love bug… she wants pets, snuggles, and to be with her people.  She knows basic commands and walks on a leash very well.  She loves getting baths!  She loves exploring the yard and keeping it bunny and squirrel-free.  She loves to play fetch and go on walks to sniff and explore the neighborhood.  She gets along with other dogs and loves little people.  She is also crate and house trained.    Aurea’s perfect forever home would have a secure place for her to play ball, other dogs to play with, kids (a little older as she jumps when excited, but getting better), and a soft place to lie down where she can be with her family.  While she has lots of energy outside, she is calm in the house.      Aurea does have some separation anxiety, but she will calm down in her crate after a while.  We would recommend a secure fence for the yard, preferably 6ft.  She is part husky and still young and does need exercise- a walk or running around the yard or fetch.       She is playful, lovable, energetic, and wants to be part of your family! Put in an application today at eapl.com. Her adoption fee is $375 November 28, 2025, 10:51 am

Story
Angelo is truly an angel—sweet, loving, and chill. He has young-dog energy and loves to run and play with other pups, but he’s equally happy relaxing at home with his people. He rarely barks and just needs a moment to feel safe before warming up to new friends. Angelo is crate-trained and comfortable being crated overnight and for 6–7 hours during the day. He’s house-trained, walks well on a leash, knows basic commands, and loves treats. He’s great with kids and other dogs. He’s also good with cats if they’re playful—he assumes they want to play with him—so he isn’t the best match for a cat who prefers their space. Angelo would thrive with a yard and plenty of playtime, and he’s microchipped, vaccinated, and ready to bring joy to his next family.
