Meet Lizzy, she is amazing. She needed to be moved to a boarding facility and she would love to find a new foster - can you foster Lizzy for us?  She does well with the large dogs!  Please email eaplevergreen@eapl.com  Lizzy is very sweet, very loving, and very smart.  She knows all of her commands, knows the doggy door, loves to cuddle, and really wants to love and please.  She loves to run, so dog parks and/or a large secure yard for her energy (she is a husky!) If you are interested in adopting Lizzy put in an application at eapl.com Her adoption fee is $300 ($250 includes her spay at our assigned vet + $50 spay deposit) April 17, 2024, 6:40 pm

Mika is beauty! She'll likely enjoy living with an active family to exercise and play with. Mika has enjoyed recreating with novel dogs after a thoughtful introduction but is required to be the only dog in her next home. HSBV will only rehome her to a family without barnyard fowl and children aged 10 and older.

Story
Ripley is a super sweet girl that gets along with other dogs inside and outside. She is a one of a kind dog where she had a rough start, ended up at a kill shelter on the euth list with missing fur and skin and bones and now look at her glow. Through all that she is super friendly and loves everyone She loves to go for runs, hikes and more. She is a young girl at only 1 years old and on the smaller side at 40 pounds. **Walks well on leash **Crate and house trained **Loves other dogs not sure on cats **loves to play fetch and go for hikes **carries her toys around and is fine wearing cute fish costumes ;) Cats: She’s doing really well! She’s so intrigued by them she just sits by the stairs and watches them through the baby gate. They’ve even booped noses and no aggressive reaction. The cat hisses at her and Ripley actually turned around and walked away. However, she does have strong prey drive so I imagine if they run she’s going to chase them. Future home (if they have cats) should definitely make sure their cat can jump higher onto something with Ripley in the house. Comes with 2 free dog training sessions and full vetting

Story
Meet Mamma Cass! - She is a sweet girl that is dog friendly but does prefer to not share so would love a home without other dogs so she can keep all the toys to herself. She does great on pack walks and out and about with other dogs - She is an active girl that likes to go for runs and hikes and does great with bike rides! When you are just hanging around the house, she loves to lounge around and nap. -She is food motivated and loves to learn new things! Doing well with her loose leash walking, place work and working on recall -She is great for handling; nail trims, looking in her mouth, body handling, she is sweet and patient for all of it. -She recently had puppies (one of her puppies is also listed for adoption) and she is no longer needed for them. They were found on the side of the road. - She is a medium sized Husky that will need a medium level active home and guessed to be 2 years old Check out her foster mom’s instagram to see more videos on her. Shes a dog trainer and Cass is doing great with her @wilmadean_edenween All POSO dogs come fully vetted and with 2 free dog training sessions

Story
This sweet girl was going to be put down due to having a bad eye but nothing else about her is bad. She came from NM and is now in a foster home in Colorado. **She will likely need to have her eye removed and once we get her fully cleared by the vet and all medical expenses paid for she will be available to adopt. This would just be them sewing the eyelid closed, this doesn’t affect her overall health at all and her other eye is healthy! What her foster mom has learned about her so far: - Total love bug with everyone she meets. She loves to flip over for a belly rub and loves to give you kisses - She loves to go for walks but she’s very good at settling when you’re home after she gets her morning wiggles out - She is crate trained and has been very quiet in her crate so far. She does like to talk to you when you come home - She’s great with handling although she’s a happy and wiggly girl. She gets a daily ointment in her eye right now and she just flops over for it - She walks very well on leash. Like most huskies she does have a prey drive - She is dog, kid, and cat friendly! She’s like the perfect little lady! Comes fully vetted and with 2 free dog training sessions

Story
Angelo is a sweet, friendly, well mannered dog looking for his forever home! He is perfectly house trained, crate trained, gentle and well behaved around food, and loves to meet new people. His foster parents do not have children or other pets, so his comfort around them is not yet known. He is very well behaved in the house. He is learning basic commands (sit, stay, lay down, etc.) but is very smart and his foster parents are confident he will learn quickly! As a young husky, Angelo is energetic and enjoys a long walk every day. In his downtime, he loves to chew his pink giraffe plush toy, nap, and snuggle with his foster parents. He would make a wonderful addition to your family! ##2008438##
