I got this goofy boy from Tacoma Humane 02/2023, he’ll be 4 years old December 27th of this year. I am looking for a home for him that has lots of love, attention, and a good budget for him! He is such a good dog and loves adventuring out in nature, chilling in the sun or laying out on his bed. He loves a good game of chase, tug of war, and can fetch short distances. He also loves chewing on bones and antlers, as well as a peanut butter/yogurt filled Kong/lick mat. He needs a new home due to my financial situation getting extremely dire and I cannot afford to care for him any longer. He has my heart and I just want what’s best for him, I need to work more hours at work and he does have separation anxiety so he deserves more attention and care! The fee is to ensure that he has a good home with people who are loving, caring, and financially stable!

Story
Meet Bisbee & Mofo! Two former street dogs. One incredible friendship. And a whole lot of nothing on their agenda. After surviving on the streets of Yakima for well over a year, these two boys spent their last four months being cared for by a neighborhood that refused to give up on them. Catching them? That was a whole different adventure. They will do best in a home with children aged 16+ Bisbee (the fluffy-headed one) was caught first. Mofo, well, he earned his name honestly. After exhausting just about every option, we finally walked Bisbee home on a leash for nearly TWO HOURS, with Mofo following his best friend the entire way. Here's what we've learned about these two: Bisbee – The Eeyore of the group • A little skittish, but starting to realize this whole "having a home" thing isn't so bad. • Walks great on a leash. • Learning his potty manners. • Enjoys routine, quiet time, and doing absolutely nothing. • Has successfully spent three hours loose in the house with our dogs without any trouble. • Basically a retired old man who forgot to get a job first. Mofo – The Loyal Sidekick • Still very cautious and unsure of people. • Calm, gentle, and not looking for trouble. • Completely devoted to Bisbee. Wherever Bisbee goes, Mofo follows. • Learning that humans might actually be pretty decent. • Would prefer you didn't make a big fuss about him. What they have in common: • Both have been wonderful with our four dogs. • Neither barks at visitors. • Both are slightly intimidated by our cat. Yes, the former street dogs are afraid of the house cat. • Both are still learning what it means to be someone's pet. • Both can jump a SIX-FOOT FENCE. Apparently, surviving on the streets comes with some impressive athletic abilities. Their dream home: • A patient, understanding family who won't rush them. • A peaceful environment where they can settle in at their own pace. • Secure containment and careful supervision to keep these escape artists safe. • Room to explore safely, relax, and just be dogs. • Most importantly, a home where they can stay together. These boys survived together, looked out for each other, and made it through because an entire community cared enough to help. Now we'd love to give their story the ending it deserves. No more surviving. No more running. Just two best friends enjoying the good life, preferably from the comfort of a couch, doing absolutely nothing. Bisbee and Mofo have already figured out how to survive together. Now they deserve to continue to live together. They are neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. Both are being cared for in Yakima, WA

Frankie is a handsome 9 year old senior husky who's more then ready to find his forever home. Frankie is a truly special boy who is ready for the fresh start he deserves. Once he feels safe, he is incredibly loyal, sweet, and deeply devoted to his people — the kind of dog who forms strong bonds and stays close to those he trusts. Frankie’s favorites include: • Playing fetch, running, and enjoying daily walks • Spending time with kids riding their bikes while he runs with them • Soaking up outdoor adventures, then relaxing indoors for cozy downtime What Frankie needs to thrive: • A large, securely fenced yard • A home without cats or chickens • Slow, thoughtful introductions to new people Frankie is a survivor. He was found as a stray in Eastern WA with an injured eye, we think from being hit. He ended up losing his eye but it hasn’t dimmed his spirit or his ability to love. He just needs a patient, understanding family who will let him move at his own pace and show him that the world can be kind. In return, Frankie will give unwavering loyalty, affection, and a heart full of gratitude. If you believe in second chances and are ready to help a deserving dog continue his healing journey, Frankie may be the one you’ve been waiting for. Frankie is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his DHPP and rabies vaccines. Frankie is being fostered in Yakima, WA.

Kodi is an 8 yo male Siberian Husky who we’re looking to re home. Kodi has been a great dog and this has been a difficult decision to make. We have a toddler and crawling infant and Kodi can get a little protective of his food. He always deserves way more attention than we can give him right now. Kodi loves being outside, hiking, or swimming. He can also just hang out at home and watch a movie. Kodi is completely potty trained with no accidents. Good with most other dogs and cats.

Story
Kodi is an 8 yo male Siberian Husky. I’ve had him since he was 6 weeks old. Kodi has been a great companion over the years. He’s really the best of both worlds. He loves to go on hikes and play outside, but also doesn’t mind being inside lounging. I’ve dog sat a few husky’s and they were very high strung inside. Kodi isn’t like that. We’ve got a toddler and and crawling infant in the house now and just don’t want to take the chance. Kodi guards his food a little, mostly around kids and other pets. He’s very friendly with other dogs at the dog park.
