Story
- Acquired through a Siberian Husky breeder in Maple Valley, WA in 2012 - 11 years old and roughly 48lbs (Birthday: May 29th) - Looking for a home with a large fenced in yard for Dallas to roam and play in. - Dallas loves going on walks/light runs. Like most Siberian Huskies, he isn't a cuddler, but he will come up to you when he needs some loving. He does love to be pet and his chest/belly rubbed. He enjoys being outside, but is not purely an outside dog (spends 50% of his time inside and sleeps indoors). He is unlike most Huskies, in that he is not a big "talker" or howler. He will rarely bark. He is playful with other dogs and very gentle with children/babies. He is use to using a dog door to go in and out as he chooses. But, will also stand by door to let you know he needs to go potty if no dog door is available. He is a fairly easy-going dog who would benefit from more attention and play on a daily basis that, unfortunately our family is currently unable to provide.

Story
Cece is a sweet girl who loves to give hugs, run, walks and is good around kids. She’s also good around cats but wants to play with them which annoys my cat. Cece needs a home where she’s active. Also as long as she gets a good walk she’s not too hyper, she is only 12 months old after all. She doesn’t bark much which is nice. But she can’t be left alone in the house yet, she still chews on things and need to be in a kennel, or fenced in area. My hours at work went up and I’m unable to keep her.

Story
CeCe is a very sweet and social, young husky. She's 1 years old and very petite at only 45LBS. CeCe loves meeting people and is very affectionate. She was fostered with another dog (a husky) and did very well with him. She would likely enjoy another canine companion. If you are interested in meeting her, please visit the shelter from 11am-5pm.

Story
Hello! My name is Salish. I am perfection and an absolute staff favorite. I spend most of my days sleeping beneath a desk in the back office. Every once in a while, I'll wake up for a quick nuzzle and settle back in for a nap. I enjoy going for walks and have lovely leash manners. I've never met a stranger and will calmly approach new people for pets. Sometimes I jump up if I get excited but I've been consistently gentle. I don't like going in my kennel at the shelter, but what husky does? I can be left alone in the office for up to an hour and haven't been destructive or upset. I have played with another dog at the shelter and done well but have shown some dog selectivity. I would probably be perfectly happy being your only dog. I am not at the shelter as I am currently staying in a foster home. If you are interested in adopting me, please email frontdesk@auburnvalleyhs.org to learn more about me!

Story
Hi!  My name is Sky!  Im a 1.5 year old Alaskan Malamute.  People say I'm active and a total sweetheart!  I love humans and would do anything to make them have a good time.  I am ok in my crate and can do walk very well with a lead leash.  I am housebroken.  I love to play w toys, but they have to be made for my breed.  (Strong) I have to say NO To Cats.  They are so interesting to me.  I chase them like I do squirrels. Apparently they are not ok w it and keep telling my humans.  So...pls no cats. We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Due to Covid 19 restrictions all Meet & Greets have been cancelled to keep everyone safe. Our adoptable pets are in Houston living with local foster families making the transition into your household a whole lot easier.  I've had all my required shots, have a microchip & neutered.  I'm ready to meet you.   Our application review takes about 10 days.  This adoption process will require 3 videos of (outside of your home, backyard, and inside of your home) since we are not able to conduct home checks at this time. We will be calling 2 references (Not related to you please). We will be contacting your veterinarian (We work with 1st time owners) to make sure you have vaccinated all your pets yearly, and that all have been spayed/neutered. Our transport company leaves Houston every 2 weeks for Oregon, Idaho, Washington, Colorado & Canada. We will book your baby as soon as adoption & transport fees have been received.  If you have fallen madly in love and would like to make this baby part of your family, then go to https://www.petstablished.com/organization/920716    ##1613011##

Story
Looking for a loving home for Scruffy. He is roughly 5 years old (unknown birthday, he was a rescue). We are looking for a new home for him as we are starting a family and Scruffy has become less and less tolerant of kids that we worry it could become a safety issue. He does relatively well with other dogs (he has 2 dog siblings), he does resource guard, and he can assert dominance with growls and body language when meeting other dogs. He would be a great guard dog, he RARELY barks unless its important. He doesn't do well with cats or other small animals as he has a high prey drive (and has killed a rabbit before). He's only attempted to nip one person in the years we've had him because he thought they were an intruder. His recall isn't great and he wanders, so he can't be let off leash unless it's a fenced area. We would be happy to do a trial to see if he is a fit for you
