Story
Meet Maxwell. He is full of energy and has a wonderful personality. He is still a puppy and great with leash and basic commands. House trained with rare accidents when excited. He’s a cuddle bug. He tends to forget the difference between rough play and soft play, and he can be a tad bit vocal when he isn’t getting his way. He does nip from time to time, but only when playing and is easily redirected. Crate trained and rarely barks when left alone. He’s is not good with small animals and cats, but great with other dogs. No experience with children, however, he does play rough so not recommended. No health issues, shot up to date, no aggression. Received training at a 4 week board and train program. Includes several leashes, vest, collars, bark collar, crate, food, and toys. If you really want him to be extra in love with you, he loves playing with towels and chewing his antler. This dog is wonderful, but unfortunately, the nature of my work keeps me away and he needs space and time.

Story
Hi there, My name is Momo and I can`t wait to meet you!I weigh about 50 lbs and am considered a `large breed` dog. My caregivers have given me a lot of special attention here at the shelter and I`ve been gaining a lot of weight since coming in! I am so lucky to have such an awesome foster family!I am a very smart dog! In my foster home I am practicing how to sit and come when called. My husky tendencies mean that while I`m incredibly smart, I`m also a quite stubborn, so I need someone who can work with me patiently while I pick up new tricks.I am an affectionate lovebug and love getting brushed and going for walks. I love my people and the attention that they give to me! I don`t mind hanging out by myself, however. As a Husky, I have my zoomies, but if you stay calm around me, I`ll match the energy. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy.My caregivers have noticed that I seem to do well with other large dogs. I am barrier reactive - sort of like getting startled when the doorbell rings! - when meeting them, but once in the yard with them I calm down and do better. I do better with another calm dog that is willing to give me my own space and respect my boundries, who is good at reading body language. I have had fantastic dog-to-dog interactions here at RASKC and think I`d like having an easy going pal to hang out with! Since the shelter can be a loud environment, I am currently in a foster home where I can get out of my kennel more and play, play, play! If you want to meet me please fill out a foster interest form! In my foster home I get along with men, women and children - I`m very lucky to be with such fantastic humans!I am an adaptable dog who loves to go with the flow! I am outgoing and carefree, and I just can`t wait to find my forever home. Could yours be the one?

Story
Hello! My name is Misty and I am available for adoption!I am a sweet, happy girl looking for my forever family! At almost 50 lbs I am a large breed gal! I know my size and am good at not jumping up on people. When I came to the shelter I knew sit/lay and am working on better leash manners. I love walks but get excited when we start out! I use my nose to follows a smell I like! If I tug too hard staff says this is easy to fix! I am treat motivated which will help and things like harnesses and gentle leads can also be very useful! My post poop dance is incredible, IYKYK, and I keep my space clean and always go potty outside regardless of how long I have to wait!I love pets and am cuddles when I calm down and feel confident around people. I can be a little shy with new people and like to just ignore them till I am ready to check them out. I enjoy my independent sniffing and exploring time but would l love to have human around so I can cuddle with them, learn from them, and gain some more confidence. I came in with my pal Maisie and really enjoy having a companion and would love to meet any relaxed dog in your home so we can be fast friends. if you would like to bring your dog into meet me that would be awesome! If you are interested in meeting a kind and happy girl come visit me!
