Story
Looking for a loving home for Scruffy. He is roughly 5 years old (unknown birthday, he was a rescue). We are looking for a new home for him as we are starting a family and Scruffy has become less and less tolerant of kids that we worry it could become a safety issue. He does relatively well with other dogs (he has 2 dog siblings), he does resource guard, and he can assert dominance with growls and body language when meeting other dogs. He would be a great guard dog, he RARELY barks unless its important. He doesn't do well with cats or other small animals as he has a high prey drive (and has killed a rabbit before). He's only attempted to nip one person in the years we've had him because he thought they were an intruder. His recall isn't great and he wanders, so he can't be let off leash unless it's a fenced area. We would be happy to do a trial to see if he is a fit for you

Story
Princess Snow White is a very young playful pup but also calm and loves to chill. We estimate her age to be 1 years old but could be slightly younger or older based on her teeth according to our veterinarian. She is fully vetted and in a loving foster home. She is extremely smart. She walks well on a leash, knows sit, paw, and can retrieve toys. She loves cats! We are looking for a home where she will be considered a family member. If you are interested in adding Princess Snow White to your home please contact us at 210-334-7771 and email us at cherisheartanimalrescue@yahoo.com for an adoption application. We are a 501c3 nonprofit rescue and your adoption fee is tax deductable. We located in Texas but transport every few weeks. Look forward to hearing from you. We can also provide references from previous WA adopters. Princess Snow White can't wait to have a forever home!

Story
Hello! My name is Salish. I am perfection and an absolute staff favorite. I spend most of my days sleeping beneath a desk in the back office. Every once in a while, I'll wake up for a quick nuzzle and settle back in for a nap. I enjoy going for walks and have lovely leash manners. I've never met a stranger and will calmly approach new people for pets. Sometimes I jump up if I get excited but I've been consistently gentle. I don't like going in my kennel at the shelter, but what husky does? I can be left alone in the office for up to an hour and haven't been destructive or upset. I have played with another dog at the shelter and done well but have shown some dog selectivity. I would probably be perfectly happy being your only dog. I am not at the shelter as I am currently staying in a foster home. If you are interested in adopting me, please email frontdesk@auburnvalleyhs.org to learn more about me!

Story
URGENT: FOSTER NEEDED!! Sweet as can be Bandito was recently rescued off of a California shelter euthanasia list with just one day to spare. He’s such friendly, affectionate 7mo old puppy, it’s so hard to believe he almost lost his life due to overcrowding! This 34lb boy just wants to play and experience life. The intended foster home cannot take him in after all so he needs an immediate foster home or he will be headed to another shelter like boarding when he arrives tonight! He is a very silly, friendly boy that loves people and he’s great with other dogs so a socially active family with another dog in the home for him to play with and learn from would be ideal while he’s waiting for his forever home. He is already doing great with his crate training and with just a little more help, he’ll be fully house trained, too. He must have a 6ft securely fenced yard and kids shoukd be over 8yrs old. During foster, all supplies are provided. Bandito is also available for adoption.

Hi, my name is Hobart and I would love to meet you. I have been at the shelter since Jul 11, 2023. All my friends say that I`m pretty affectionate and if that means I like getting pets and having my paw held, that`s definitely true! When I`m not being a love-bug, I love going on casual walks where I can sniff the breeze and feel the sun on my fur. I can`t wait to add a lot of cuddle time to your routine!
