I’m Blue, and I’m a curious, bright-eyed Husky with a big heart and even bigger love for the world around me. Every walk feels like an adventure—every scent, every sound is something new to explore. I get so excited, like I’m discovering the world for the first time! When I meet people, I can’t help but walk right up and sniff their faces, just to say, “Hi! Who are you?” People always smile when I do that—maybe it’s the way I tilt my head or my wagging tail that makes them laugh. I get along pretty well with other dogs, too! I do sometimes forget how strong or energetic I can be, especially around smaller pups. I think I’m the same size as them, so I play a little rough without meaning to. If I’m with little friends, I’ll just need someone to help me play more gently. I'm learning! Oh—and being a Husky, I have that classic husky voice… yep, I howl sometimes. When I feel lonely or miss my people, I might sing a little to let you know. So I’d do best in a home where I’m not left alone too often. I really do love being near my humans. I’ve been through a tough start—abandoned alone in a basement—but I’ve never let that stop me from trusting or loving people. I still believe in the goodness of humans, and I’m ready to give all my love to the right family. I was rescued just before facing euthanasia at a shelter, and now I’m living at a training center, waiting for someone special to take me home. Since I spent much of my puppyhood in a shelter, I’ve still got a playful, curious side and a whole lot of energy. I love walks and adventures, and I get really excited to explore new places. I’m super friendly! I get along well with other dogs and don’t shy away from strangers—I warm up fast and love making new friends. Though I also love to do my own thing as well.I am full of energy and I love to play! I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy.My caregivers have noticed that I seem to do well with other large dogs. I am barrier reactive when meeting them, but once in the yard with them I calm down and do better. I do better with another calm dog that is willing to give me my own space and respect my boundries (a dog that knows doggy body language). When meeting dogs in a new home, I would do best with a slow introduction.I`m a Playgroup Pal! Ask the staff today about my interactions with other dogs at the shelter in our Playgroups.I am currently in a foster home. If you want to meet me please fill out a foster interest form! Hi, my name is Casey and I`m available for adoption! I am a big, sweet, spunky boy looking for my forever home!I`m a 4yr 6mo old male tricolor Siberian Husky/Austrailian Cattle Dog (ID #A688745). I was brought in by a good samaritan on December 6, 2025. At 72.5lbs I am considered a large breed dog. I am a very happy boy with a zest for life! I love to play, but also have a sweet and affectionate side. I am very treat motivated and will happily sit for them. Im so smart! This will be very helpful when teaching me new tricks!I would do best in a home with older children, sometimes I dont realize my own size! Can you blame me? Im just excited:) My caregivers have noticed that I seem to do well with other large dogs! When meeting dogs in a new home, I would do best with a slow introduction. I would also prefer a home without cats or other small animals.I am neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped! I was nominated for Pet of the Week on December 30, 2025. This means that my adoption fee has been reduced! This adoption fee includes a King County pet license (if applicable).
