He is responsive to his name and sits reliably, working on recall, "lay down," "wait," "heel," and "shake." He is very quiet unless crated. He is not aggressive but can be "mouthy" and nips when excited, so he would be best in a home with children aged 10+ who have dog experience. He loves other dogs and would do well with a canine companion. However, he charges birds and squirrels, so he may not be suitable for a home with cats or small animals. He loves car rides, walks, and squeaky toys. He does occasionally chew non-toy items if left unsupervised.
