Story
Hello! My name is Timmy. I am the sweetest, fun-loving husky. I am very friendly with people and have been easy to handle. I met another dog at the shelter and did well with her. I`m a calm guy and have a moderate play style. I have walked nicely on leash and been an overall good boy. If you are interested in adopting me, you can visit me at the shelter 7 days a week between 11am and 5pm.

Story
Jamie Lee Curtis is currently in a foster home. If you would like to meet her, please email frontdesk@auburnvalleyhs.org. Jamie`s foster has this to share about her. `Jamie is a 1-2 year old rescue husky located in Auburn, WA. She`s a small, shy girl with a unique blue speck in her eye & a soft plushy coat you`ll love to snuggle once she`s comfortable. Jamie was found as a stray and needs some time to adjust to living inside, as she is remarkably sweet and intelligent, but very timid. In her foster home, she`s showing improvement and getting more comfortable every day, but know that she will require someone with a lot of patience and understanding to help her adjust.Miss Jamie really shines on leash enjoying the world around her. She loves sniffy walks where she can explore with her nose. She knows basic commands like come, leave it and no, and responds well to her name. She has not shown any signs of aggression whatsoever. This sweet girl would do best in a home without young children, possibly another dog, and with a patient owner who can show her the trust and love she deserves. She loves playing with other dogs, provided they are calm and not overly rowdy.`

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
`Meet Grady, the lovable husky with a heart of gold! This dashing boy is as handsome as they come, and his sweet personality matches his good looks. Grady is potty trained and will let you know when its time for a bathroom break a true gentleman! While hes perfectly content to relax in his crate with the door open, locking it up? Thats a big nope from him! (Honestly, who likes being locked in anyway?)For a husky, Grady is impressively mellow. But don`t be fooled he still gets those classic husky zoomies and loves his walks to burn off energy. He`s got the smarts too! Grady is all about the treats and will gladly show off his skills by sitting on command and giving you his paw. When it comes to affection, Grady is a total cuddle bug. The moment you reach out to pet him, hes on his back, belly up, ready for rubs his idea of pure bliss! And heres a fun story: one day, my jacket made an unexpected appearance, and poor Grady got a bit spooked. But did that stop him from heroically defending us from that suspicious fabric invader? Absolutely not! He mustered up his courage and showed us just how brave and protective he can be.Grady is the perfect mix of goofy, loving, and loyal. He`s ready to bring endless smiles and tail wags to his forever family. Are you the one he`s been waiting for? `

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Hi! My name is Chuck! I came to RASKC as a stray and now I`m ready to find a new home. When I first showed up here I was very shut down and shy, but lately I`ve really come out of my shell! I can still be nervous in new situations and my new family should be prepared to do a slow introduction to the home so I don`t get overwhelmed. I`ve been around other dogs and seem to enjoy their company, although I prefer my space when things like food or toys are involved. I can get excited when I really like a person and am currently working on not jumping to greet. I would do best if any children in the home are dog-savvy with big dogs. I am a gentle and loving dog who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations. I am still working on my manners, so I would do best with a family who is willing to work with me and help me become the best dog I can be!

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Hi there! My name is Ben! I was surrendered to RASKC when my previous owners could no longer care for me and now I`m looking for a new home! I`m a handsome, sweet and mild mannered boy here in the shelter. I keep a clean kennel which suggests I have some house training. For a husky, I`ve been pretty quiet, but I may liven up a bit in a home. I previously lived with several other huskies and enjoyed their company so I could be compatible with another multi-dog household, though I haven`t been to playgroup while in the shelter. I am 62lbs and am considered a large breed dog. I am a gentle and loving dog who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might take some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend!
