Kimber is a big sweet snugglebug, about 2 years old and 64lbs. She has done well so far with other dogs here, and has done great with people, including our younger volunteers. She seems to be housebroken and knows basic commands, and does well on-leash.Kimber, like most young huskies, has lots of energy and is super smart, and will need an experienced family that can give her plenty of daily exercise, attention, and affection.

Hi! My name is Larusso! I`ve been at RASKC for awhile, I was brought in by a good samaritan on 2/4/23. I`m so ready to find my new home! I`ve learned a lot in my time here at RASKC, the staff all say I`m great and have had so much fun teaching me! I`ve learned sit, down and come, so far. I`ve also been working on my dog social skills and found that I actually really like other dogs! I`ve got a `rough and tumble` playstyle with other dogs my size, but I`m always respectful of my friends` limits in play. I go to playgroup almost every day because I`m that good at it! With people, I`m a pretty laid back guy. I like to lounge in my kennel and I`m respectful when it`s time to go for a walk. Of course, in my new home I`ll still have to learn your rules, but I`m sure I`ll catch on quickly. I`m more than ready for a great summer of hiking, long walks, games of fetch and good ear scratches. I`m a large-medium size dog at 67lbs. I may benefit from a bit more exercise than I`m currently getting, just to shed a few pounds. My personality color is BLUE. I am a gentle and loving dog who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might take some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend!

Hi! My name is Onix and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by my previous owner on May 8, 2023 because they were moving. My previous owner described me as active, energetic, and loving. I`ve been in and out of the shelter a few times since then, and this last return was simply due to wanting me to have more space to run and play. He was great and taught me how to do `Paw!` I was doing very well with my obedience training.I weigh 48 lbs right now, but I will grow bigger. I am considered a `large breed` dog.I am a very smart dog! At the shelter I am practicing how to `sientate = sit` and `tranquilo = calm`. I am bilingual, and respond to both sit commands.I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home!I need a home that does not have cats or small dogs!I am full of energy and I love to play! I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy.I am a puppy!! I will need to find a home where someone is available for me in these early days. It is important to be consistent with me and socialize me so I can have the best companionship with people and other animals. Puppies require patience because everything is brand new so I will need some TLC while I learn. I am not potty trained or crate training yet and teaching me those skills will help tremendously on a road to success! Nepal has made great progress since his arrival on Finn Ranch. He loves to go for walks but needs a strong handler on the end of the leash. He is getting better at following verbal cues such as stay, come, and sit.Nepal tends to be an alpha dog and must have a patient adopter to continue his training and who knows how to gently handle a dogs with the strength and energy level of Nepal.
