She can be a little strong on leash but with consistent training she will continue to improve.Asher is a big love bug and has come a long way with her training and behavior. She might still pull on leash, that just means that she is determined to get where she is going.

Hi there! My name is Mendez and I am available for adoption! I weigh 45 pounds and am considered a medium-large size breed. I am a husky mix! I know my colors may surprise you, but my floof tells all the tales! I am an independent dog who likes to do my own thing. My caregivers have observed that I might not get along with other dogs. I may do best as the only dog in my new home, or I may need a very slow introduction to other dogs. I can get very nervous in new situations! Because of my shy nature, I would do best in a calm, quiet home.Due to my nervousness, I would do best in a home with older children.I enjoy my kong toy, and going for short walks where I can sniff around the yard! However, because I`ve been so shy here at the shelter, it`s been hard to get a good feel for what I really like doing. I`d like a home where I can explore new things at my own pace! I am very potty trained, though! If you`re looking for a shy guy and willing to give me a try, come visit me down at RASKC!
