Story
Dickens is a young guy! He loves to go out for walks. His strong, sweet and friendly. He loves to be with his people so much that it can be hard to get him to back into the kennel. Dickens has done great on pack walks with other dogs at the shelter. He would probably need a structured meet and greet with a canine sibling. Dickens needs to work on his leash manners but he is treat motivated and ready to learn!

Story
Hi there, my name is Sinjo and I`m ready for adoption!I was brought in when my previous owner was no longer able to take care of me.I weigh 93.0 lbs and am considered a `large breed` dog. I am quite overweight so I am on a weight loss journey currently. I was originally 106 lbs when I arrived at RASKC so I am down 13 lbs :)At RASKC I keep my kennel very clean and I am gentle with my toys! I am very potty trained and will hold it for the dog walkers!I can be an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home, but I can also be an independent dog who likes to do my own thing at times! My caregivers have noticed that I seem to do well with other large dogs. When meeting dogs in a new home, I would do best with a slow introduction.I am an adaptable dog who loves to go with the flow! I am outgoing and carefree, and I just can`t wait to find my forever home!My foster says this about me, `He`s an easy going dog - he met some new people and always did well, and he seems to react well to other dogs on walks. We`ve left him alone for a few hours and he did fine, just a little whining. He`s so happy to be with people - so playful, and cuddly. He loves walks so I`m sure that the weight loss will be no problem with a family that can give him the exercise he wants. He`s truly the sweetest boy and has been such a pleasure to foster. He`s the perfect walking and running partner, and is so snuggly and happy at home. `I`m currently in a foster home, please fill out a foster interest form for the chance to meet me! To find that form click the `read about our adoption process` link then `foster path` link!

Story
Hi! My name is Polo and I am available for adoption!I am a shy independent dog looking for my forever family!I was brought in by my previous owner because they could no longer care for me! They owned me since I was a puppy. They loved me and had only positive things to say about me! They described me as loving, caring, energetic and quiet. I am not sure if I like dogs, I had a previous bad experience with a dog and since then I was not introduced to any dogs. If you have a dog and want me to meet them we reccomend bringing your dog down to RASKC so we can meet in a neutral territory!i would do best in a home with older children who understand dog behavior! I am a bit shy and need the people in my home to be patient with me! I need some time to warm up and feel comfortable, this is all very new to me!My previous owner said I got along with cats!My previous owner said I have no bad habits and I am not agressive around toys, treats or food!I am potty trained as well as crate trained! Here at RASKC I keep a very clean kennel! And I am super gentle with my stuffed animals.I know commands too! Such as sit, stay, paws and up!You can visit me at the Pet Adoption Center on weekdays from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The Pet Adoption Center is located at 21615 64th Ave S, Kent, WA 98032.Come and visit me today, I`d love to go home with you!

Story
Hi… I’m Lala 💕 I’m a 3-year-old husky girl, about 15kg, a little smaller than most huskies—but perfectly squishy and cute if you ask me. I have odd eyes (yes, I know, they’re gorgeous 👀✨) and a fluffy body that’s made for hugs. My life didn’t start out easy. I was once on the list at a city shelter, but kind humans gave me a second chance. When I was rescued, I had heartworm, but it was caught early and I finished my treatment like a champ 💪 Now I’m healthy and ready to start my real life—with you. I love people. Like… really love them. I don’t care if we just met—I’ll happily come say hi, wag my tail, and ask for your attention. I adore gentle hands, affection, and being noticed. If you look at me, I’ll probably already be walking toward you 🥰 I get along great with other dogs too! I enjoy having friends and exploring the world together. On walks, I can be a little curious (okay… very curious 👃), so sometimes I pull on the leash. I’m learning though! With patience and consistency, I promise I can get better. Because I spent a long time in a shelter, home life is new to me. At first, I might need a little time to adjust. I may feel anxious when left alone, and sometimes I express my feelings with husky-style howling 🎶 (I can be a bit dramatic). I’m also still learning outdoor potty routines, so I’ll need regular walks and kind guidance. That’s why I’m hoping for a family who understands huskies—or is willing to learn about us. Someone patient, steady, and ready to grow together with me. I learn fast when I’m loved, and I truly want to do well. If you choose me, I promise this: I’ll give you my whole heart. I’ll walk beside you, talk to you in my husky voice, and become your most loyal friend. With the right family, I know I can be the kind of dog who stays with you for life—through ordinary days and special ones. Could that family be you? 🐾💙

ROCKYADOPTABLE🎀My basic info🎀Name: RockyAge:  2 Years oldSex:  MaleBreed: Husky-Jindo mix Weight: 15kg(33LB)        👶🏻 Kids: can test if needed         🐶 Dog:  Good with dog        🐱 Cat: can test if needed         ✔  Spayed /  Vaccinated / Microchipped🎈My Story🎈My name is Rocky, and I’m a 2-year-old Husky–Jindo mix boy, weighing around 15kg (33 lbs). I was rescued just before facing euthanasia at a shelter, and now I’m living at a training center, waiting for someone special to take me home.People say I have a unique and striking look—a mix of Husky charm and Jindo spirit—and a personality to match! Since I spent much of my puppyhood in a shelter, I’ve still got a playful, curious side and a whole lot of energy. I love walks and adventures, and I get really excited to explore new places.I’m super friendly! I get along well with other dogs and don’t shy away from strangers—I warm up fast and love making new friends. Sometimes I might get a little jealous if I see other dogs getting too much attention, but it’s just my way of saying, “Hey, don’t forget about me!” 💕I’m already doing great with both indoor and outdoor potty habits, and with a consistent schedule, I’ll quickly adapt to your routine. Since I’m still in my teenage phase, I’ve got a lot of energy to burn—if I don’t get enough playtime or walks, I might get a bit mischievous at home (chewing, nibbling, you know the drill). So I’d be happiest with a family who enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors.More than anything, I just want to be loved. I’ve got a bright, affectionate personality and so much potential to become your loyal, well-mannered best friend—if you’re willing to share your heart and time with me.So, what do you say? Could we be the perfect match? I’ll be here, tail wagging and ready for our next adventure together. 🐺✨With love,Rocky
