When they come up to smell her, she loves it! She's quite popular at the center ! * Separation Anxiety: Not applicable as she is currently at the center with other dogs. * Potty training: Only does outdoor elimination at the center. * Walking: There can be resistance or hesitance at first since she is apprehensive about going for walks with strangers. However, once she gets acclimated to them, she walks well alongside them. * Car Sickness: No car sickness, and she rides well in cars. 💌Special Note💌 * Excellent in responding to dependable staff members, and even puts her hand on the food bowl as if she would ask for food. A reference check, phone interview, and home visit will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog. We work quickly. We adopt out to homes around the US and Canada, but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Newcastle, WA. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Zelle or cash. We no longer accept PayPal due to their high fees & charges but if the potential adopter wants to pay them we will accept PayPal. Look at this face, it’s haunting to think he almost lost his life. Jericho the easiest & nicest boy you will ever meet was in a death camp of a scary shelter in CA. How he ended up there, we will never know? The dreaded kill list was emailed out with many dogs with deadlines on them. Meaning, a rescue needs to save them or they will be euthanized. He had zero public interest & was not even listed anywhere on social media. He was in the shelter for months. We rescued this beautiful big boy & 4 other sweet souls out of kill shelters in CA on that very same day who desperately needed help that day or they were all going to be euthanized because no one wanted them. That day was 1 very sad & joyous day all at the same time. Because we knew so many others did not make it out. Without our amazing foster mum, this would not of happened. Jericho who is now looking own forever home & who will never give up on him again & dump him & love him just as his foster family & we do. Jericho was bought back to WA state from CA where he can’t wait to find him his loving forever home. Thank goodness this boy is so forgiving for what humans have done to him. He is the nicest boy you will have the pleasure of meeting. Jericho has experienced going to doggy daycare to socialize him with other dogs with countless breeds & does well. The absolute insanity to think this beautiful boy ended up in one of the highest county kill shelters in CA is soul destroying. Jericho is such a big sweetheart. Such a happy & so loving soul & yet such a peaceful soul. Jericho just wants to be loved. Disturbing to think no one wanted him & he was ready to die. The level of absolute madness here is so deeply sad for many of these beautiful souls out of CA kill shelters. He loves everyone he meets & enjoys being cuddled to & given love. That’s when he is standing still. He would be the type of boy who would like to experience many adventures. But that being said he is a very calm, sweet boy. He will also just sit or lay with you also. Wherever you are, that’s where he wants to be. Jericho needs to be watched when in the kitchen as he can counter surf if he finds something on the counter he wants to eat. Jericho is a great eater & not shy about his food & treats. He has put on a whopping 13.4 lbs since being in the rescue. Jericho’s new forever home must have a fully fenced secured backyard for his safety. He enjoys going out into the backyard & running around playing with his friends. Jericho has been great with his baths because he started having them the moment he was rescued with us so he is used to them. He is also really good with being brushed. He loves men & woman. Jericho loves a good car ride & gets so excited when you tell him he is going in the car. At first he wants to sit in your lap when you drive but once you tell him to get in the back, he listens to you & gets in the back & rides beautifully in the car & enjoys a good journey. He does still need continued work walking on his harness & leash & will like to try to pull you to where he wants to go to but will listen to you. He is a strong boy. We are looking for a forever home for Jericho where someone is home during the day or he can go with his people wherever possibly he can go with them & there must be another dog or dogs in the home for him to thrive. Jericho loves other dogs & needs another dog or dogs in the home to play with. This is mandatory for his new home. We are also looking for a crate free home for the lad only. He was left in a cage at the shelter until we rescued him. Jericho is looking for a forever home who will cherish him & love him as he should be loved & be patient with him. Jericho has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & he is currently with other dogs & does well with them & enjoys their company. It’s mandatory for him to be in a home with playful dogs. A fenced backyard is also mandatory. Please do not apply saying your neighbors have a dog or family members or you will take him to places where there are other dogs. That will not work, another dog or dogs is mandatory. Jericho is roughly just 3 years old & 73.4 lbs & is perhaps a Siberian husky what he is mixed with we are not sure at all. He is male, neutered & we just got him a dental scale & polish & he had dental x-rays. He is microchipped, had a 4DX snap test, he is heart worm negative & up to date on his shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, CIV, rabies & dewormed. We have spent far more on rescuing Jericho with all of his medical, dental, shots, transport fees, shelter pull fees, boarding fees etc that exceeds well over his adoption fees. Jericho not has been around cats since being in the rescue. But it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together. We have not had him around small children so we do not recommend small children nor cats & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children. We were not there when Jericho was conceived so we do not know who his parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is. As with all of our rescues & Jericho friends he will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Jericho potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Jericho has been through many traumas in his short time on this earth so when applying this needs to be kept in mind & for his care. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Jericho & going through our process and have read his listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit due to covid & followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Jericho who understands his needs & that meet all the requirements for this spirited little lad. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Jericho has an adoption fee of $995 & is ready for his truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what he has been through.

Loyal, sweet, and intelligent. Likes a nice walk followed by a long nap. Great manners indoors, relaxed at home, likes exercise, routine, his crate, and is quiet for WFH (alert barks if someone is at the door). Now the special part - He is a scaredy dog. We’ve been working on confidence as he is quite skittish of new people. Slow intros needed. Will do well with a caring, experienced leader who he does not feel like he has to protect. Likes playing with dogs off leash but has reactivity when on leash (depending on who is walking him). Not around cats or kids much, so unsure. Very affectionate but hesitant of new people. Has taken agility and training courses to help with reactivity and confidence. Well cared for, no health issues. Ace is very loved. Will do well with a patient leader to guide him to a happy and fearless life! We will provide large dog beds. Ask any questions!

Beautiful Bella is ready to find her forever home! This gorgeous gal has a zest for life and is  smart, independent, and goofy – a delightfully fun combination that will keep you entertained!  If you are looking for a good chuckle and someone to share happy moments with, Bella is your girl! She will howl in excitement when you come home from work and talks when it’s time for a meal. She loves interacting with her humans and telling you about her day! This playful pup adores other dogs and would love to join a home with a higher-energy canine companion who enjoys playing chase, doing zoomies in the yard, and wrestling. She would also be fine as a solo pup and be your one and only! Bella loves car rides and will happily join you on your errands. She’s also been known to sneak into the car in hopes of going for a ride, silly girl! She’s a big fan of trail walks and finds the calmness of nature relaxing and she is truly in her element. The beach is also a favorite spot where she can explore to her heart’s content. Bella walks well on leash and enjoys playing recall games on walks in exchange for her favorite treats. She’s a super smart girl and loves using her brain!  Bella has Irritable Bowel Disease and is on a very strict, veterinarian approved, home cooked diet to keep her gut in good shape. She is also on daily meds to help manage her condition.  It took a bit to get her healthy but she is THRIVING on her current program and an adopter should be prepared to continue with her current diet and care plan to ensure Bella’s ongoing health and comfort. Bella is about 3 years old and weighs 65 pounds. She is a Husky mix with the sweetest personality and biggest heart. She will thrive in a home in a quieter neighborhood and a patient and diligent adopter. Bella is an incredibly special pup and can’t wait to find her forever home!  Bella’s adoption fee is $450 and she is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.
