Story
Asher is a 2-year old Siberian Husky. She came in with her mom, Bellamy. They love getting out together, but don`t need to be adopted together. Like a typical husky, she loves to get out for walks. She can be a little strong on leash but with consistent training she will continue to improve.Asher is a big love bug and has come a long way with her training and behavior. She might still pull on leash, that just means that she is determined to get where she is going.

Story
Meet Xarpo! Meet Xarpo, a young female Husky mix named after the Greek goddess of fall—and just like her namesake, she’s absolutely stunning. Everyone who meets her can’t help but comment on her striking beauty, but it’s her fun-loving spirit that truly wins hearts. Xarpo may be initially shy and nervous with both people and dogs, but she warms up quickly, revealing her playful, energetic, and affectionate personality. She is a social butterfly at heart and hasn’t met a dog she doesn’t like. She would thrive with a dog companion her size or larger, as she can be quite rambunctious and energetic—perfect for dogs who enjoy active play and puppy energy. Xarpo is learning her manners and basic commands, including polite play, not jumping, and proper interactions with both people and dogs. She does well in her crate overnight, though during the day she much prefers to be out and about, as any active Husky mix would. She’s in the process of house training—she’ll go outside when asked but occasionally forgets when she’s busy playing. She has seen cats but hasn’t been trained to live with them, as she’s far more interested in her canine friends. Not suited for apartment living, Xarpo can be vocal and needs space and activity to thrive. With her adventurous spirit, she’d make a fantastic running or hiking partner. Xarpo is ready to find her forever family—one that appreciates her beauty, nurtures her confidence, and gives her the active, loving life she’s meant to live. Could she be your perfect fall goddess?  Xarpo is vaccinated, spayed and chipped. Her adoption fee is $450 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! THE FIRST STEP IN OUR PROCESS IS TO FILL OUT OUR APPLICATION AT WWW.HAVENRESCUE.ORG/DOGAPPLICATIONMeet Finn.A young adult husky mix who is absolutely spectacular. He’s the dog you notice not because he’s loud, but because there is something special and unique in the fully engaged way he looks at you. Finn is the perfect middle ground between stillness and spark. He can fold himself into a quiet corner while you work, then unspool into joyful play the moment you wiggle a leash or toss a toy. Dogs? He’s a fan.Polite greeter, joyful playmate, fluent in chase-and-wrestle without tipping into chaos.Same story with people. He leans in with an easy warmth and an open heart.Leash walks with Finn feel easy. He has set aside the wild husky stereotype. No tug, no drama. Just a loose line, easy cadence, and lots of check-in side glances. In the car, he’s your ride-or-die. Quiet, curious, perfectly content to be your shadow from coffee runs to road trips. At home, he is the best kind of magnetic.Couch? He’s there. Bed? He’s there too, an expert in the art of the full-body lean. He tucks in close, sighs the deep sigh of a dog at peace, and stays.Whip smart and wildly eager to please, he treats training like a puzzle he’s thrilled to solve with you.Finn is that rare, quietly electric “best dog ever” … the one who rearranges your days, your routes, and your heart, and somehow makes everything better just by being beside you.Haiku for FinnThe trot of his paws, open road and open heart love in forward gear.NOTE: Fencing required and no small kids please.

Story
Momo is a 7-year-old Husky Great Pyrenees mix with a big heart, a fluffy coat, and a strong sense of loyalty. She was found at just five weeks old and has grown into a loving, intelligent dog who bonds deeply with her people. She’s happiest in cooler weather and loves having a job; whether that’s keeping an eye on the house, going for walks, or entertaining herself with her favorite red Kong (yes, she throws it for herself). She walks well on a gentle leader and enjoys sniff-heavy adventures. Momo is affectionate but independent and does best with someone who understands northern breeds. She can be vocal when meeting new people or when someone knocks, but once she trusts you, she’s devoted and gentle. She is crate-trained and chooses her kennel when she wants quiet time. Momo needs a home where food and trash are securely managed and where she isn’t confined long-term. Her family loves her very much, but her current environment isn’t safe for her to thrive.

Story
Zeus is a happy, fun-loving 3 year old boy. I got him when he was a puppy and am heart broken to have to let him go. He is very friendly and great with other dogs. He is perfectly healthy, his only issue is that he's pretty anxious in really busy areas. Looking to find him a nice loving family preferably with a backyard!
