My Shadow follows me wherever I go!! That is a little disconcerting, however.... I move fast to see if he can keep up with me :) It is fun to try to outsmart him and it does help me wear me out :) I love me some playtime! Toys, ropes, tug of war time and running are keeping me active to fulfill my Whippet nature and my LAB nature too!! Looky at my face and tell me you don't want to share your WHOLE life with me :) I am waiting!!! Looking for a wonderful dog?? Great with all people big and small ;) And other playful dogs... No chickens please, lol, to me they just look like fast food :( Here he is!!! Story
Hey there, I go by Shy Shy, but my friends sometimes call me Pretty Girl or Silly - guess I've got a few aliases. My heritage is a bit of a mix: part Lab, part Blue Heeler, and all wiggle butt! When it comes to snacks, I'm all about the healthy stuff - carrots, apples, and peanut butter are my jam. Now, I've got a little quirk - I can be quite the alarmist around strangers. You see, I bark as a defense mechanism, but once I've given you the once-over and decided you're cool, get ready for a smooch fest. My favorite pastimes? Sunbathing, rolling in the dirt or grass after some epic zoomies in the backyard, and playing with toy bones, sticks, or my beloved PB-stuffed Kong. Oh, and squeaky toys? Don't get me started - they're the best! Car rides? Absolutely! Feeling the wind in my hair is a pure delight. Sometimes, I'll serenade you with a little snore, and as for where I sleep, well, I've got my own cozy doggie bed, but I won't say no to a spot on the couch or even the bed for some cuddle action. I've been doing great, and I'm still as sweet as ever. Just a little note, I can have some allergic reactions to food, but I'm on a special prescription diet, so no worries there. Never had an accident indoors, and I'm quite the communicator when I need to go outside. So, if you're looking for a loving companion who's as unique as they come, visit www.godsdogsrescue.org to learn more about me. I'll be here, most likely on the couch, looking as cute as ever! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Introducing the newest sweet and savory sensation from McDonald's-meet McMuffin! This delightful treat is here to warm your heart and fill your home with fun and love! McMuffin is a lovely female Labrador Retriever mix, and she's got the energy of a firework ready to burst! Her absolute favorite snack? English muffins, the kind you use to whip up those delicious breakfast egg sandwiches. But, watch out! Her tummy can get a tad grumbly if she indulges too much. As she's matured, McMuffin likes to take life at a leisurely pace, being kind to her joints and bones. But when it comes to showing you affection, she's all in-wet kisses and wiggly butt wags galore! Now, McMuffin can be a bit nervous when she first meets her family, so she's looking for her forever home right in the heart of Texas. She's discovered true happiness in her foster home and would thrive best with another calm, confident dog as a companion. Or, if you're up for it, she'd be over the moon to be reunited with her sister, McFlurry! So, if you're craving a special addition to your life, don't miss out on the delightful McMuffin. Swing by and let her add a sprinkle of joy to your days! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)
