FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED! Stella is a ~6 year old Lab/Pit mix. She is loving, friendly and wants nothing more than to have a home where she can get lots of cuddles, treats and attention. Once she knows you she is sweet as a button and loves her people deeply. Stella's favorite things are treats, a comfy bed and lots of pets. You can find her cuddled up on her bed and sunbathing on a nice day. She has a calm demeanor and walks well on a leash. Stella is She's has a very high prey drive and can be aggressive towards other animals. She needs a family that has dog reactivity experience so they know how to keep her safe and separate. Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Ace! He is an incredibly sweet 3.5-year-old, 30lb Labrador/Shepherd mix. Ace has been waiting with us for over 3 years, and would love to find his perfect forever family soon! Ace is a very energetic and playful pup. He loves to cuddle up in your arms when you crouch down to him and will be a huge snuggler. Being that he has been raised in a kennel environment, he will need some work on his basic obedience skills. He bonds to and loves his people deeply and can be somewhat protective over them so he will need some work on this behavior and an owner who is committed to this training. He can be wary of and reactive with men and would do best in a home with a single woman. Ace does well with other dogs and would do great in a home with another dog to play with. He would love a securely fenced yard for him to run and play and would thrive in an active home where he could go hiking, on long walks or on adventures. He is not tested with cats. Ace is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations. His adoption fee is $400.

FOREVER HOME NEEDED (currently in foster care) Who doesn’t love a shy guy? Meet Bart, a sweet and sensitive 3-year-old, 50 lb Lab mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter and is now settling into foster care while he searches for his forever home! Bart didn’t get the easiest start in life, and he’s still learning how to navigate the world with confidence. He takes time to warm up to new people, but once he bonds, he really bonds — he becomes incredibly loyal, affectionate, and will happily follow “his person” anywhere. This handsome guy absolutely loves other dogs and thrives with canine friends. He’s currently living in a foster home with multiple dogs and has been doing great — playful, social, and gaining confidence by learning from them. For this reason, Bart will do best in a home with another well-adjusted dog who can continue to help show him the ropes. Bart also lives with a cat in his foster home and mostly ignores them — no chasing, no issues, just “meh.” Once he feels safe, Bart enjoys cuddles, hanging close to his favorite human, and relaxing with his dog buddies. He’s a gentle soul who simply needs patience, understanding, and a home that appreciates the beauty of a shy dog blossoming. If you’re looking for a loyal companion, a dog who will adore you with his whole heart once he opens up, and a sweet boy who just needs a little confidence and a canine best friend, Bart might be your perfect match! Bart is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $450.

FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Haribo! Haribo is a happy 9-month-old, 20 lb mixed-breed pup (we’re guessing maybe Lab/Spaniel/Border Collie mix) who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded CA shelter. He’s not going to get very big, and he is incredibly sweet! Haribo has a soft coat, sweet brown eyes, and a personality that’s equal parts goofy, awkward, and charming. He’s delightfully derpy in the best way ~ quirky, silly, and a little uncoordinated at times ~ which makes him absolutely lovable! He does great with other dogs, really enjoys people, and would make a fun little adventure buddy! He would thrive in a home with another playful dog to show him the ropes, but he could also do well as an only dog as long as his adopters keep him well socialized. Like all young dogs, he’ll benefit from structure, continued training, and a good routine as he grows up! If you’re looking for a sweet, funny, quirky pup who will make you laugh every day, Haribo just might be your guy! Haribo is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Molly is a 8-year-old, 35 lb Lab mix, ready to find her forever home! Molly came to the US from Afghanistan after being rescued by some soldiers. She is sweet, playful and active and will need a home that can keep her well exercised. She loves people and loves attention. Molly can be dominant with other dogs and will guard her toys, treats, etc. Molly is reactive on leash and will need training and support for her reactivity. She will need her family to help work on these guarding and dominant behaviors with her and will need to be the only dog in the home. Molly needs an adult only home with either a single person or bonded couple that can share guardianship. No children, cats or other small animals. She needs a standalone home that is quiet and calm in a suburban or rural neighborhood. No apartments! Molly gets overwhelmed easily with noise and will bark or display reactivity if alarmed. This old girl would love to find her forever home soon, so she can live out her golden years in peace and comfort! Molly is UTD on shots, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $300.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Meet Lady! She is a friendly, 8-year-old, 79 lb Golden Retriever/Lab mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA in hopes of finding her forever home here in WA! Lady is a very sweet dog that walks well on leash and loves to go on adventures. Overall, she walks well on a leash, but she is a strong girl and will pull on the leash should she see something she’d like to check out. She already knows basic commands such as "sit" and "shake" and takes treats gently. Lady is very smart and a quick learner, which will make training a breeze! She would love a home with a yard where she can explore and lounge! Due to her size and strength, we are recommending kids over 10 years old. She can be dog selective, so her ideal home would be a one dog household where she can soak up all the love and attention from her people. Overall, Lady is an awesome dog with so many great qualities and would love to spend the rest of her days in a loving forever home rather than a commercial kennel. She will make a great adventure companion and wonderful addition to any lucky household. Lady is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $400.

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Say hello to Binks! He is a 1 1/2-year-old, 50lb Golden Retriever/Pit Bull mix, who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter in CA. He is one big butterball of love! He is very sweet but is strong and can be bouncy and mouthy so he will need an adopter who is committed to working on his overall basic obedience skills with him. He is very smart, and food motivated and does well with training. He is generally well behaved, loves meeting new people and does well in a crate. He does well with other dogs, but mostly enjoys attention from his people. He loves to crawl and roll around in the grass and would love a home with a securely fenced yard where he can run, play and crawl. We are recommending no young children due to his bouncy nature right now. He is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $450.

Story
Meet Buddy! 🐾 Buddy is a 2-year-old, 55lb Golden Retriever/Husky who came to us from an overcrowded California shelter after his owner could no longer care for him. He’s had a rough start, but this bright, goofy boy is ready for a fresh beginning and a forever home that will give him the love and consistency he deserves. Buddy is incredibly smart and eager to please, and he loves people and bonds quickly with his humans. True to his breeds, he’s a mix of playful and mellow: he can romp around like a puppy one minute, then settle down for a quiet nap by your side the next. He’s food motivated but surprisingly gentle when taking treats and not protective of his food. He’s also a pro at fetch and loves showing off his retrieving skills! Buddy is working on his confidence around other dogs. He can be wary and reactive at first, and with some dogs more than others. Because of this, he’ll do best in a home where he’s the only dog and with a patient adopter committed to continued positive training and slow introductions. As Buddy is still working through some reactivity around other dogs, he is not suited for busy city life or an apartment. We are looking for adopters for Buddy that have a family that has a free-standing home and a fenced backyard. He’s house-trained, sleeps soundly through the night beside your bed, and won’t stir until you do. Buddy dos have some separation anxiety that his forever home should be prepared to work through, he thrives when he’s close to his people and in a calm, predictable environment. Buddy with do best in a home with multiple people for support, training, and so he isn’t left alone often while he is working on gaining confidence being left alone. Buddy listens well to simple corrections like “hey” or “no,” especially when he’s tempted to sneak a peek at the countertop buffet. Above all, he’s a loving, affectionate companion who just wants to be near his people and be part of their world. Buddy has so much heart and potential—he just needs a home that can offer structure, patience, and a lot of love. Buddy is not your typical ‘golden retriever’ despite his looks, and will need an experienced family that can help him gain confidence and refine his training. In return, you’ll get a loyal, fun, and endlessly rewarding best friend. 💛 Buddy is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.
