🐾 URGENT — Looking for a Loving Home for Our Sweet Black Lab 🖤We are urgently looking to rehome our beloved 7-year-old black Labrador Retriever to a safe and loving home.He is truly the gentlest soul—loving, affectionate, and incredibly well-mannered. He loves snuggles, belly rubs, being close to his people, and playing fetch with his ball. After playtime, he’s happiest relaxing right by your side.He has no behavioral issues, no special medical needs, and is a healthy, strong dog.He would thrive in a home where he can receive the love, attention, activity, and companionship he deserves. This has been an incredibly difficult decision for our family. With a newborn and young children, we’ve realized we are no longer able to give him the time and care he truly needs. We love him deeply and want to find him a safe, caring home where he will continue to be loved and cherished.

Black Lab Puppy Seeking New Home Freya is a sweet, loving 6-month-old Black Lab looking for a home that can give her the time and attention she deserves. About Freya: • 6 months old • 53 pounds • Spayed • Fully vaccinated • House trained • Crate trained • Comes when called • Walks nicely on a loose leash • Loves all people • Good with other dogs • Up to date on flea prevention Freya is an affectionate, energetic young dog who enjoys being around her people. Like many Labrador puppies, she can still be a little mouthy when excited, but she has a great foundation of training despite not having attended any formal obedience classes. She does chase cats and would likely do best in a home without them. We are rehoming her because our lifestyle has changed and we spend too much time away from home to give her the attention and activity she needs. This decision has not been made lightly, and we are committed to finding her the right family. She will come with: • Crate • Halo 5 gps collar

Story
Big dog fans - come meet Shadow! At 10-months-old, Shadow already tips the scales at 104 pounds, and he still has some growing to do! Shadow is an active guy looking for an active family who can give him lots of daily play, exercise, mental enrichment, and attention. Shadow is still very much a puppy and likes to chew, jump, and sometimes can get overly excited. Shadow can be selective with other dogs and will likely do best as the only dog in his new home. He hasn't lived with cats before but will bark and try to chase outdoor cats, so caution should be used with any resident cats. Shadow will likely do best with dog-experienced teens who are comfortable around large dogs. Shadow is not a fit for an apartment or condo and would love a fenced backyard for exercise. If you're ready to welcome home this handsome hunk of a pup, make an adoption appointment to meet him today!

Story
Koa is one sweet guy! This handsome 5-year-old lab mix is ready for a fresh start. He's still learning that the world isn't scary and is looking for experienced adopters to help him build his confidence and blossom into the dog he dreams of being! Koa can be more nervous around men and is hoping his new family will be patient with him as he settles into his new home. Once Koa feels comfortable, he's full of playful energy and will keep you smiling. Koa has met a couple dogs and done well, though any introductions to resident pets should be done slowly. He is looking for a home without cats. Koa will likely do best with dog-experienced teens (16+) and adults and would love to live in a quiet neighborhood where he can go for sidewalk strolls. He is not a fit for an apartment or condo environment. If you're ready to welcome home this precious pooch, fill out an adoption application today! Koa's adoption fee is waived in thanks to a generous donor and our Pay it Forward program. *Koa is in a foster home and not located in the shelter.

Story
Maxine (maxi for short) is a great dog. She is house trained, obedience trained and leash trained. Lately we’ve been honing her recall skills. She will do just about anything for a treat and her temperament is great for kids and other dogs. She got bullied by a chihuahua as a pup and hasn’t gotten along with them since but she plays well with her cousins who are all lab mixes. I have to rehome her because she is destructive and I don’t have the ability to handle or redirect that behavior. She seems to be less destructive when she has room to run. Example: when we are at my moms (1/4 acre) she is happy and not destructive. I don’t have a ton of room for her to roam.fun stuff: she loves all water, even bath time. She likes to sit in your lap. Loves her chest scratched. Loves road trips.

***NOTE: This pet is currently at the shelter in Republic, WA, and can be delivered to an approved adopter on our 5/30/26 adopted pet transport to Monroe, WA to begin a 30-day trial placement – part of our distance adoption program.*** Considering adopting? The first step is to complete our online Adoption Application at http://forgetmenotshelter.org/application Please do not call the shelter; do the application first. Meet Scooter, the ultimate "best of both worlds" dog who is ready to sprint straight into your heart! This stunning year-old Golden Retriever and German Shepherd mix makes everyone smile with his vibrant personality. Scooter is the perfect age to start a lifetime of adventures, combining the legendary loyalty of a Shepherd with the goofy, sunshine-filled heart of a Golden. Scooter is a high-energy athlete, currently a 60-pound fun-seeking missile, who believes life is one giant game of fetch. Whether you are looking for a dedicated hiking partner or a champion zoomie-competitor for your backyard, this boy is up for the task. Because he is such a smart doggo, he’ll thrive in a home that can keep his mind as busy as his paws through training, puzzles, and plenty of outdoor play. He is a "blank slate" teenager just waiting for a family to teach him the ropes and turn all that youthful enthusiasm into refined skill. While his energy is boundless, his favorite place to be is right by your side. After a long day of exploring, Scooter’s affectionate side takes over, and he’s more than happy to settle in for some serious ear scratches and belly rubs. Leash training has begun for Scooter, along with working on sitting and waiting rather than rocketing through any open door. You will want to continue his training on the basics to help him become the best dog he can be! Scooter is housetrained and eager to learn anything you want to teach him. He was surrendered through no fault of his own and is now looking for an active household that can match his zest for life. Scooter is good with other dogs outside the home, but prefers not to share his people with another in-home doggo. He is NOT a friend to cats, and, though he LOVES small children, he's a bit too much dog for toddlers, who would be like bowling pins facing Cooter's ball of enthusiasm. So, while he would enjoy the occasional play date with another dog, we recommend he be the only pet in the family, with children old enough to stand up if he runs into them! If you have the space in your home and your heart for a smart, spirited, and soulful companion, come meet Scooter today and see if you’re the perfect match for this golden-hearted Shepherd! All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Scooter is a suggested minimum of $150 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
