Story
HI - I'M STORMY! I'm an 8-month-old male husky-lab mix pup (possibly with some shep thrown in). I'm currently in a home in the Seattle area in a wonderful foster home. I originally was rescued as a baby from a California shelter, and I now weigh 52 pounds! I'm a happy, fun-loving pup who would do well with an active person, people or family. I walk well on a leash and am a quick learner! Please email for an application. Thank you.

Story
Allie is an adorable 14wk old puppy that now weighs about 16lbs. We expect her to be approx 55lbs or so when full grown. She is a very friendly, affectionate puppy that would love to have socially active home. She needs more training but she’s a very smart girl and she’s already learning a few basic manners. Allie will bark a little bit when she’s trying to get your attention, but otherwise, she’s a very quiet girl. She loves to spend the day wrestling with her brother or playing with her foster doggy and kitty siblings so another playful dog in the home would be ideal. Allie is a very outgoing, silly girl with a very sweet temperament so she would be a great addition to a family with school age kids. She appears to be Shepherd Lab mix, but we’re not quite sure. Whatever she is, she is a wonderful, social, playful puppy! She must have a 6ft or higher, securely fenced yard. Because of her young age, she should not be left alone for more than 4-5hr intervals.  If you would like to meet this sweet playful pup please email info@k9rr.org and include your phone numberApril 24, 2024, 11:50 am

Story
Emerson is a sweet as can be 14wk old puppy that is ready for his forever home. He is currently about 22lbs and should be approx 60 lbs or so when full grown He is a very sensitive, gentle tempered boy that would love to have another dog in the home to learn from. He enjoys wrestling and cuddling with his sister and he gets along great with his foster dogs and kitties so other animals in the home would be ideal. Even though he’s a bit insecure, he also loves people to pet him and cuddle with him. With an experienced, patient person he’ll be a confident boy in no time. Emerson is very smart and food motivated so even though he needs more training, he learns very quickly and he’s eager to please. He appears to be Shepherd Lab mix, but we’re not quite sure. This sweet boy has been in a shelter and boarding for 6wks now, while we’re looking for his forever home! This is far too long for a puppy!! Story
Lucca was found tied up in a remote area by one of our volunteers. He was facing certain death and was in desperate need to be rescued. Once he was nursed back to health, he was flown to our area and placed in a home at the age of 6 months. After just a short 8 months he was returned with the reason, they no longer have time for him since the wife now has a full time job. So poor Lucca spent 12 hours a day in a crate. Now he finds himself looking for his forever home. Lucca is very sweet, active, potty trained, playful and wants nothing more than to be loved. He truly is the sweetest boy who gets along with other dogs. He knows a few commands and also thinks he is a lap dog.If you would like to give him a home, please go to www.animalsinneed.net and complete our short adoption form. April 24, 2024, 11:50 am

Story
MUST LOVE CUDDLES! Big, beautiful Buck is a very affectionate guy that will cuddle with any person he meets. When standing outside , talking with the neighbors he’ll wait patiently while leaning against you for a head rub. In the evening he won’t try to lay in your lap, but he does want to lay next to you with his head in your lap. He needs a touchy / feely kind of person! Buck is approx about 18mo old and weighs a whopping 80lbs. He does still need some leash and recall training, but he’s very food motivated and really wants to please so he’ll learn all his manners in no time. He is a very silly, playful, very sweet puppy that would make an excellent running partner. And then he’s ready to come home and relax for the remainder of the day. One more walk for the evening or running and playing fetch in the yard for a bit, then Buck is happy to curl up in his blankets for the night. He has been between a foster home and boarding for 3 months now, so he’s eagerly waiting for his own, forever home. Buck loves to play with other dogs but does not like to share food or treats so he must be the only dog in the home. Even though he won’t live with other dogs, he should at least have plenty of play dates. Buck loves to meet new people so a socially active home would be best. He’s also wonderful with kids, although he’s very big and doesn’t really know his size so he might knock over the little ones. Kids must be over 10yrs old. He must have a 6ft or higher securely fenced yard. Although Buck is house and crate trained, he’d rather use a doggy door or be let out on a regular basis by a work from home person. He must have a large breed experienced person to help continue his training. He loves car rides so he would even be a great companion for someone that drives for a living. He is a little too intense with the kitties so no cats please. We’re not quite sure of his breed mix. Whatever he is, he is a wonderful, special boy that deserves a loving, adventurous forever family.  If you would like to meet this big handsome sweet boy please email info@k9rr.org and include your phone number.April 24, 2024, 11:50 am
