I walk well on a leash and am a quick learner! Please email for an application. Thank you.

Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!  My name is Ellen from Korea and I am a wonderful approximately 6 month old female Mini - Labrador Retriever mix.  I weigh approximately 14 lbs. and so excited to find my new forever home.  I am very happy, affectionate, smart, and friendly.  I was saved from the Korean kill shelter where I was due to be euthanized. The activists came and saved me and I can't wait to come to America and find a family to love and care for me forever.  Approximately over a million dogs a year are slaughtered to be eaten.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will help train your new pup.  My adoption fee of $1,595 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.   A GPS tracker or Apple Air Tag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an Air Tag from us   We cannot guarantee breed or age. The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  The adoption fee is donated to the rescue and is tax deductible.   Please e-mail   admin@gingerspetrescue.org   for an adoption application. Story
HI - I'M STANLEY the handsome lab mix -- and first things first, I tested well with other dogs and cats, too! I have a bit of a sordid past, though. I had lousy owners, and was confiscated by the sheriffs and brought to a scary shelter. Due to the extreme overcrowding at the shelter, I was in danger of being euthanized. Thankfully I was rescued and now I'm surrounded by people who love me -- but I still need a forever home! I am a happy-go-lucky boy and so overjoyed to be alive. I tested well with other dogs, and I love to go on walks and hang out with people. I'm young and full of life and would make a great hiking buddy. I'm affectionate and sweet and would love nothing more than to become your best friend. I am only 3 years old and weigh about 65 pounds. Can you welcome me into your home?

Story
Porter is such an interesting puppy! He appears to be a lab border collie, with maybe some corgi in the mix? He is a thick bodied low rider, just like a corgi. Whatever he is, he is a very friendly, silly, 6 mo old puppy that gets so excited when it’s time to go for an adventure and meet new people. Periodically he’ll be a bit timid with some new adults, but he absolutely loves children! He’d be an excellent addition to a family with children. Porter also just can’t get enough of playtime with other dogs of any size. He’s somewhat on the submissive side so a confident, playful dog in the home to help boost his confidence and help teach him more basic manners would be ideal. He’s great with the kitties, too. He does still need some basic training, although he already walks great on a leash. He is also fully crate trained and if he has a regular schedule for potty breaks every 4 hrs or so, he is also house trained. He is an exuberant puppy that will wiggle and lean against you for affection, and try to crawl in your lap if he can. Lots of cuddle time is a must. Porter is a very quiet boy so with a little training and maturity, he’ll be an excellent office dog companion. He also rides great in the car so he could even learn to be a travel companion. Porter must have a fenced yard and because of his young age, he should not be left alone for more than 4-5hr intervals. His adoption includes his upcoming neuter surgery.  If you are interested in meeting this sweet pup please email k9cabbie@gmail.com and include your phone number.July 26, 2024, 5:07 pm

Hi there, Fiona here, I am so happy that you are reading my profile, that must mean that you are looking for a gorgeous young dog because that is what I am. I am a bit shy when it comes to meeting new people but it doesn't take long to warm up especially if there is a treat involved. I love to play with my 3 siblings who haven't been adopted yet either. I like other dogs as long as I have some time to get to know them. I am a medium-energy dog I think. I mean I like to play and run and walk and all that but I do like to relax too. I will pretty much follow your lead. I need some work on my manners, so if you have some time to teach me I am a quick learner. If you think we could be a good match then just please fill out an adoption application and we can meet on a Zoom call. Yours, Fiona To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. There you will see any videos, more photos and details.

Hi, I am Paris,Yes, like the city. I don’t speak French, but I do understand Spanish!I am generally a calm dog who likes to play with other dogs when we are introduced. I am still a young do and if you know Labs you know we stay puppy-like for a few years. I love to play with toys and my favorite is balls. If you would throw the ball for me I would love it. I like to play with children too, but I haven’t been around cats before so I am not sure how we would get along. I am good with car rides especially if they end up at the beach. I am not much for swimming, but I love to run in the water and splash everyone!I know that I need to go outside to do my business and I have some basic commands down, but I will still need work with walking on a leash. I hope you will be the one who can help me with that.If it sounds like we could be a family, then just fill out the application and we can meet on a Zoom call.Loving life withParis To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. Story
Hi I'm Negrita,I hope my new family will come up with a new name for me but for now, I answer to Negrita.I am a bit shy with new people, I think they need to earn my trust, like maybe with some good treats and lots of good loving. I will admit I have a few quirks, like walking into houses...it kind of freaks me out. I am not sure why, but it does. So, I will need some patience with that. I don't like car rides much either, but I think if I am with my family, I will get used to it. I like to go for walks, my foster family takes me on really long walks and I love it. If you have children, I am ok with that, I don't live with kids now but when I am with them I mostly just sit quietly and watch them. Now cats and I don't get along, I love to chase them but for some reason, they don't like that. If you like going to the beach, then you are my kind of family. I love the water and know how to swim well too. If you have another dog in the family, I am sure that after a good introduction, we will get along well. I am still young with lots of things to learn but I am getting pretty good at Sit, Come and Stay. My foster says I am very easy to handle.Mostly I am a cheerful, happy dog who loves to be with my family and if you were going to be my forever family I would be a very happy girl. Just fill in an application and we can meet on a Zoom callLove for all,Negrita To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an AirTag from us.  We cannot guarantee breed or age.
