Story
Meet Vader!! This beautiful boy is looking for his person!! Vader loves other dogs, lives with a cat and 2 parrots, loves people and children. Vader is a bundle of energy who is looking for an active household to keep up with his needs. He runs like an athlete and hops like a giant bunny when excited. His foster mom says that he is practicing "take off" as it seems that he is trying to fly!! When it is time, he is able to lay down and chill for the evening or during quiet time. Some of his favorite things are his kennel where he can have his quiet time, chasing birds in the yard and learning new commands. Vader knows sit, down and shake as of now, but is ready to learn as many as you can teach him. He likes to chew on things, but at just over a year old, he quickly understood when his foster mom negotiated an old towel and 1 old shoe that would be only for him. He took the deal and has been a dog of his word about chewing other things that aren't supposed to be. Vader would love to learn more about you and see if you are the forever he has been waiting for!! Please be aware that all of our pets are in foster care in South Texas. They are transported to their new homes once adopted. We are 100% volunteer based, so it could take a day or 2 before we are able to process an application. If you are interested in adopting an animal, please fill out our adoption application using the blue Apply To Adopt button above and someone will review it shortly!

Story
Molly is a 2 year old, 35-40lb female lab mix, ready to find her forever home! She is sweet but has some issues that need support and training. In the right home she will thrive! Molly came to the US from Afghanistan after being rescued by some soldiers. She is sweet, playful and active and will need a home that can keep her well exercised. She loves people and loves attention. Molly will need continued obedience training as she is still learning. She can be dominant with other dogs and will guard her toys, treats, etc. Molly is reactive on leash and will need training and support for her reactivity. She will need her family to help work on these guarding and dominant behaviors with her. Molly would need to be in an with an adult only home with either a single person or bonded couple that can share guardianship. She cannot be with cats and needs to be in a single-detached home that is quiet and calm. No apartments! Molly gets overwhelmed easily with noise and will bark or display reactivity if alarmed. Molly is UTD on shots, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $450.

Story
Stella is a ~6 year old Lab/Pit mix. She is loving, friendly and wants nothing more than to have a home where she can get lots of cuddles, treats and attention. Once she knows you she is sweet as a button and loves her people deeply. Stella's favorite things are treats, a comfy bed and lots of pets. You can find her cuddled up on her bed and sunbathing on a nice day. She has a calm demeanor and walks well on a leash. Stella is She's has a very high prey drive and can be aggressive towards other animals. She needs a family that has dog reactivity experience so they know how to keep her safe and separate. Stella would do best in an adult-only home or with kids over the age of 12. Not because she is aggressive towards people, she just prefers a quiet and calm home where she can be loved and spend her days relaxing :) She is UTD on her vaccinations, spayed and micro-chipped. Her adoption fee is $250.

Story
Say hello to this fun, 1-year-old Labrador mix Ace! Ace is a very energetic and playful pup. Being that he has been raised in a kennel environment, he will need some work on his basic obedience skills. He bonds to and loves his people deeply and can be somewhat protective over them so he will need some work on this behavior and an owner who is committed to this training. He is wary of and can be reactive with men and would do best in a home with a single woman. Ace does well with other dogs and would do great in a home with another dog to play with and show him the ropes! He would love a securely fenced yard for him to run and play. He would thrive in an active home where he could go hiking, on long walks or on adventures. He is not tested with cats. Ace is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations. His adoption fee is $500.

Story
Meet Lady Rover! She is a friendly, 6-year-old, 79 lb Lab mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA. She is a strong dog who pulls on the leash when going for walks. She will need a strong adopter who can handle her strength. She appears to know basic commands and takes treats gently. She has been good with other dogs in our care and would do fine as an only dog or with another dog in the home. She would love a home with a yard where she can explore and lounge! She has not been tested with kids or cats but due to her size and strength we are recommending kids over 10 years old. Lady Rover is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $500.

Story
Say hello to Saydee! She is a gorgeous, and unique looking Lab/Husky mix who came to us as a stray from California. She is a loving girl, around 2 years old and 65lbs. Saydee is a happy girl and we can tell she had a home at some point. She loves to go on walks, has a great demeanor and medium energy. She walks well on leash, and sits pretty for pictures! Saydee has done well with other dogs in our care and could do well with another dog in the home, or would be fine as an only dog getting all the love and attention! She is not tested with cats. We think kids would be fine. Saydee is spayed, UTD on shots and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $500.
