Story
Hi, my name is Sunny. If you are looking for a sweet, calm and laid-back dog, I’m the one for you. I’m a beautiful 12 yr old golden lab mix, around 40 lbs. I have so much love to give … will you be my person? Just a slow walk, some snacks (ok lots of snacks) and a few belly rubs and bum scratches, and I’m as happy as can be. I love other dogs and people but I would prefer a home without really small children – I’d like to enjoy my golden years laying around and taking it easy. Can you find room in your home (and your heart) for a beautiful old boy? All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kenneled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel.

Story
DAISY aka DOODY Lab/Sharpei mix, 1.5 yrs Miss Daisy is the embodiment of "happy to be alive". This sweet soul ended up at the local shelter with extensive wounds to her face and chest, her medical notes indicated she had likely gotten caught in a wire fence or perhaps attacked by other dog. Rescue busted her right out of there and got her to a local vet, where she was diagnosed with ehlers danlos. That's just a fancy way to say her skin is a little more delicate than a normal dogs and tears really easily so she needs to be a little more careful than most dogs and can't roughhouse or engage in "mouthy" play. Daisy is the last to know though, she loves to zoomie all around the yard and her very favorite game is keep away from her foster mamas (especially when it's time to go inside). Daisy does well with dogs of all sizes but needs slow intros. She should be monitored while playing to avoid any potential owies. Daisy is crate trained and a happy playful little soul. She requires a little more care and caution than a typical puppy, but will pay you tenfold in smiles and snuggles. *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. I’m Lady, a 7 year old chocolate Lab mix who lives with my foster mom and my fellow pups who I love to play with. I am dog friendly and crate and potty trained. I’m happy that I am loved and have buddies. I see fellow foster pups come and then leave to their forever homes. I hopefully will soon find my forever family and home. *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. Story
Hi, I’m Koda and I’m looking for my special furever family. I’m a 3 year old lab mix, around 45lbs. My foster mama thinks that I’m very sweet, shy, and loving. I love being with my four legged friends – either dogs of all sizes or cats! That’s right, you can call me your little love bug and I will follow you around for love pats and belly scratches. I even have a trick – yup I’m a magician - throw a dog biscuit near me it will disappear! I’m smart too – I know some commands like "House" to go to Mandalay's kennel to eat, my name and I even come when I’m called! Ok well, mostly I come LOL. I’m still working on the leash bit – I get a bit too excited and a whole bunch anxious so … sometimes I forget all my manners. It probably is better that I go to a family that has older kids (and a little calmer) and I would love to have some four legged friends to play with. Well, that’s me … do you have room for a little love bug in your family? *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. Hi there, I'm Fefe and I am the sweetest thing. I am a 3 year old lab mix, around 50 lbs. If you are looking for a sweet best friend, partner in crime and ultimate fetch player you have found me. I love all the peoples, all the other doggos and my ball (and any other ball I can put my mouth on). I am the pup who will happily play fetch for hours and then curl up and nap beside you till you are ready for another game. If you have another dog, that's great, as a loving and happy lab I am all up for more friends. If I sound like the perfect pet to you, then I sound like the perfect pet to others, so move fast or you'll have to fetch your own ball! *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. Story
Meet Aria! She is a naughty and somewhat submissive little girl, she has shown this personality since she was little, but she is still a very tender, adorable and loyal puppy. She loves to meet new dogs and lives with cats without any problem, she is so excited to go for walks and walks, she likes to play with balls and ropes and she is used to live with other dogs. She is very intelligent, but her high energy makes it difficult for her to concentrate on a command, haha, she is adorable. Although she looks big in the pictures, she is a small dog that won't grow more than 38-40 pounds, she currently weighs 28 pounds, and will be 7 months old. She likes to be by your side, and have a good nap with you, she is learning to walk on leash, as she loves to run and jump. Ideal for growing up with children. The $550.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to Oregon or Washignton. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash.

Story
Animal Profile:  Artie is an estimated 4-year-old, 65 lb female Lab/Shepherd mix who loves snuggles and belly rubs. She is friendly with all people, including kids. Her previous owner described her as gentle, loving, playful, and attentive with kids of all ages. Artemis is a smart girl who learns quickly and knows basic commands. She is both house trained and crate trained.  Artemis would do best in a home with a securely fenced yard where she can run and play. Foster Update 5/3/24: Artie has been doing very well with all types of training. She can be around the other dogs without a leash (and even enjoys playing with the other pups), her "bubble" has shrunk to the point that an unfamiliar dog basically has to run into her to generate a reaction, and she's still her same cuddly self in the house.  Foster Update: Artie is a very good and chill dog with an excellent foundation of training. She walks well on leash with a training collar and heels on command. She's made tremendous progress when encountering unfamiliar dogs on walks. She doesn’t react from a distance at all and can now pass by calmly as long as they stay outside her “bubble” of about 2 feet. She's conditioned to a muzzle and accepts it easily; it seems to make her more comfortable encountering new dogs. After slow introductions, she's become best buds with a large male Lab and a medium female Aussie in her foster home. Adopter Profile: Large breed experience required Secure fenced yard required Balanced dogs OK No cats Kids OK Adoption Info: Artie's adoption fee is $350, which includes spay, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, and microchip with lifetime registration. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. Animal History: Artie came to the Quincy Animal Shelter as a stray. She was adopted by a family with kids with special needs in Fall 2022 and surrendered to DGS in July 2023 because they were unable to give her the attention she deserves. She is currently being fostered in Bellingham and is available for adoption.May 7, 2024, 11:20 am

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Gable - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Named after a real life 'ladies man' Clark Gable, this here ladies man is ready to let all that be 'Gone With The Wind' and to settle down in a loving home. I want to say goodbye to 'Love On The Run' and just enjoy my belly rubs, ear scratches and some of those nice tasty treats. This family life is going to be all that, like being given the 'Key To The City'!! Here at my new foster home, I’m happily browsing around for any kind of yummy smells but when my foster mom says the word “ride” I jump in the truck lickety split. Going for a ride is one of my favorite things, making me a pawsome co-pilot. I come in at about 45 pounds and at around 5 years young, I still love having a blast going on adventures! My salt and pepper muzzle gives me a very distinguished look that the ladies tend to love (what can I say, this Gable has still got it!!), along with my 'turn you to mush' expressive eyes, I am just too handsome, what's not to love! I really really enjoy my cuddle time and will sit patiently waiting for my time to get me some lovins! I love to curl up right next to you and get as close as possible. And oh, did I mention how I will do anything for belly rubs?!!!! This ole boy hasn't let life get me down. 'It Happened One Night', I found myself in the local doggie jail, thinking I was gonna be doing 10 to life, but the judge was lenient and I'm out on parole for good behavior (and I really am a good boy!). I'm a very laid back and mellow fella, going with the flow, not wanting to make any extra work, which makes for me to be a great family addition even for a first time pet parent. Does I sound like a good fit for your family, I sure do hope so?! Please fill out my adoption application and let’s get me a 'Homecoming'...to your home!!!

Story
Animal Profile: Cody is an estimated 9-month-old, 50 lb neutered male lab mix (possibly with Catahoula) from Roswell New Mexico. He and his two litter mates were taken into the shelter as young pups and have been growing up in kennel-based foster care, including socialization with other dogs of all sizes and people. Unfortunately, despite their friendly temperaments, the three large-breed black dogs were not getting any adoption interest, so Cody has joined Dog Gone Seattle to find his forever home. More info to come as we get to know him in foster care. Foster Update: We are just getting to know Cody, but he is really coming out of his shell! He enjoys going on runs and being outside and he'll need another balanced dog in his forever home to help build his confidence. He plays all day with our resident dog and loves to follow her around! He does well in the car, is good with other dogs and adults in the home, and loves playing with toys. He is good in the crate and sleeps through the night. We are working on crate training during the day. Cody would love an owner who has experience with initially shy and skittish dogs and can provide him confident leadership. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.  Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was taken into rescue as a puppy and transferred to Dog Gone Seattle rescue arriving to foster care on Feb 23, 2204 and will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care. May 7, 2024, 11:20 am
