Lily was surrendered to NorthStar when her owner became ill and could no longer care for her dogs. Although she is almost 9 years old, Lily is in good health, energetic and house-trained. She is a good listener who loves long walks and car rides. She is currently up to date on her shots, but is due for several vaccines in May - we'll ensure she receives those. Lily has lived with another dog (Lucy Nason, also available for adoption) and is currently in temporary foster with a Lab and Golden Retriever. On walks she may bark at other dogs out of curiosity - she's not aggressive, just loud. Lily is crate trained and enjoys spending time in her individual crate even when given free roam of the house. Overall, she is a very sweet senior girl just looking for a new place to hang her leash! With her silly personality and bright, happy energy, she has a way of making every day a little more fun. She absolutely loves snuggles and being close to her people, whether that’s curling up for some quiet cuddle time or bouncing around for a play session. Kara is your classic goofy puppy—curious, affectionate, and always ready to be part of whatever is going on. She’s doing very well with her potty training and continues to make great progress. Kara is also still improving her leash skills, and with a bit of patience and consistency, she’ll keep gaining confidence on her walks.
