Once upon a time, there was a little pug mix named Beans. Beans wasn’t always a rescue dog. For a while, he had to survive on his own. He wandered the streets, looking for food, a warm place to sleep, and someone who might notice him. No one knew where he had come from or how long he had been a stray. Then, one day, someone finally found Beans. He was brought to a rescue where he was given something he had been missing for a long time: safety. He got a cozy bed, yummy meals, gentle care, and lots of love. Slowly, Beans began to understand that people could be kind. Beans is a little dog with a big heart. He loves being around people and has a funny, lovable personality. His adorable pug face and sweet eyes make it hard not to smile when he looks up at you. But there was still one thing Beans was waiting for. A family of his very own. She has an eye issue were treating, and she is scheduled for a spay and dental in a few weeks once she puts on a little more weight. Dont let her age fool youBirdie still loves to play, go for walks, and be part of the action. She gets along wonderfully with people of all ages and other dogs. When shes not out exploring, shes more than happy to curl up on the couch and watch TV with you. One of our favorite things about Birdie? Shes great about letting us know when she needs to go potty. Shell walk right to the door and do the cutest little spin to let you know its time to go out. Birdie is truly the total package: sweet, social, active, and full of love!

We got a call in the middle of the night about this sweet girl.A call that stopped us in our tracks. Its not often the shelter reaches out after hoursso when they do, we know its serious. A tiny 6-week-old pug puppy had been found abandoned in a park, cold, weak, and barely hanging on. This precious baby girl, now named Nyx, was suffering from a severe anal prolapse. Despite everything the shelter tried, nothing was working. She urgently needed advanced specialty carewithout it, she simply would not survive. Nyx underwent two surgeries to repair the prolapse, and she nearly didnt make it. She stopped eating, she was fading fast, and if not for the skilled, dedicated medical team caring for her around the clock, we would have lost her. But this tiny warrior wasnt ready to give up. Today, Nyx is gaining weight, eating well, and finally on her road to recovery. Shes a sweet, playful, happy little puppy who has fought harder in her first weeks of life than most ever will. Once she is fully healed, she will make a truly incredible addition to someones family. Nyx is proof that even the smallest lives can show the greatest courageand that rescue truly does change everything.

Meet Chewy and while he may not look much like a Wookiee, he's definitely got the same big personality! At just 3 months old, this little guy already has plenty of charm, puppy energy, and an adventurous spirit. His time was running out at the shelter when Church of Pug stepped in and brought him to safety, giving Chewy the chance to start the next chapter of his story. We're still getting to know this little guy, but so far he's proving to be a playful, happy, typical wonderful puppy who is ready to explore the world, learn all the important puppy things, and find his very own forever family. Chewy is ready for his next great adventure preferably with lots of love, plenty of playtime, and a forever family by his side.
