Miranda is a lovely female pug with a sweet, friendly personality and plenty of love to give. She has been through a few medical challenges, including a couple of hernias and a ruptured eye that had to be removed, but she hasn’t let any of that slow her down. Miranda is crate trained, house trained, and walks nicely on a leash. She is a very friendly girl who enjoys people and, of course, she absolutely LOVES her food! One thing Miranda feels very strongly about is sharing her meals—she would much rather keep her food all to herself, so she will need to be fed separately from other pets. Miranda may need daily eye drops to help manage dry eye. If you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing companion with a little personality and a whole lot of charm, Miranda may be your girl! Meet Elton! We seriously can't believe this handsome guy hasn't been snatched up yet! Elton may need a few days to settle in and come out of his shell in a new home, but trust us-he's worth the wait. Once he knows you, he's a keeper! He's got that classic pug personality and plenty of pug energy packed into one adorable little guy. Elton is potty trained and crate trained...once you convince him to actually get in the crate, ha! He's great on walks, loves being outdoors and soaking up the sunshine, and even had a great time at our PetSmart meet and greet. Elton currently free feeds and really enjoys his food and chew toys. When he's focused on something he considers important, he'll let you know he'd rather not be bothered, so an only-dog home may be the best fit for him. Give Elton a little time to get comfortable, and you'll get to see the sweet, funny, quirky pug underneath. Pug personality through and through! Elton is ready for someone to give him his chance. Meet Birdie! Birdie is a sweet, active senior girl who is looking for either a foster or forever home. We're still working through a couple of medical items with her. She has an eye issue we're treating, and she is scheduled for a spay and dental in a few weeks once she puts on a little more weight. Don't let her age fool you-Birdie still loves to play, go for walks, and be part of the action. She gets along wonderfully with people of all ages and other dogs. When she's not out exploring, she's more than happy to curl up on the couch and watch TV with you. One of our favorite things about Birdie? She's great about letting us know when she needs to go potty. She'll walk right to the door and do the cutest little spin to let you know it's time to go out. Birdie is truly the total package: sweet, social, active, and full of love!

Meet Bell! Bell is a sweet, gentle girl who recently lost her vision and is learning just how capable she really is. Before coming to rescue, Bell lived with her littermate, and after she became blind, the relationship between the two changed. Her littermate began picking on her, and Bell understandably became defensive when the other dog approached. Since coming into foster care, we've gotten to see a completely different side of Bell. She is currently living with a pack of four dogs and has had no issues with fighting. She mostly does her own thing and seems very comfortable sharing her space with the other dogs. And don't tell Bell she's blind, because she certainly doesn't let it stop her! She has already decided that stairs are no big deal and will make her way upstairs all by herself when she wants to be near her people. She's independent, determined, and incredibly sweet. More than anything, Bell loves being close to people. She is showing us every day that losing her sight doesn't mean losing her ability to enjoy life, explore her surroundings, and be part of a family. Bell is looking for a loving home that will give her the security, patience, and companionship she deserves. She may not be able to see you, but she'll have no trouble finding her way into your heart.
