Story
Animal Information: Kara is an adorable little pug mix that is estimated to be 1-year-old. She is a petite little girl, weighing 15lbs, and is social and sweet with people and other dogs. We love her little smooshy face and sweet tail wags, and can't wait to help her find a family here in the PNW. Foster Profile:  Kara is a friendly, happy, wiggly girl. She was in rough shape and thin when she arrived but with a good diet and some TLC she has rebounded completely! She is smart and a quick learner, friendly and likes to play with other dogs. Kara loves to be the center of attention with people. She likes stuffies and balls.  She is fast and likes to zoom around with my resident dog, but she also likes to curl up on the couch with her person. Kara has an adorable underbite and often shows her little teethies. She is crate trained and is quiet in her crate all night and when being left alone at home. We have been working on house training and she is 99% percent there. She does need some boundaries and leadership because she can be a little pushy but she is intelligent and follows cues. Kara would be a great addition to many types of families.  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166). Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was transferred from SBC Shelter in partnership with ARF. He will be transferred via TNT transport, arriving to foster care on 7/2/26 and available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.July 30, 2026, 11:11 am

Story
Animal Information: Brennan and his Dale are one-year-old Pugs who found themselves at the SBC shelter as strays. When no one came to claim them, we knew we had to bring them into rescue. At 25 pounds each, these adorable boys have the sweetest, smuggest little faces, perfect curly tails, and personalities to match. Friendly, happy, and full of charm, Brennan and Dale are ready to steal hearts throughout the Pacific Northwest. Foster Profile:  Meet Brennan. He is the most adorable, goofy, clumsy, and loviest little dude you will ever meet. His primary purpose in life is to be your constant companion. Whether that means enjoying the beautiful summer weather chasing the birds and squirrels or being cozy on the couch. Brennan is potty trained, working on being crate trained, and learning basic commands. He is very people friendly and in true pug form, snores like a freight train. And did I mention he has the cutest snaggle tooth? Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Story
Ruby may have arrived with a little mysterywhile her records say she's 1 year old, the veterinarian who examined her believes she's likely closer to 23 years old. Either way, one thing is certain: she's 100% adorable. This sweet girl loves zooming around the house with the other pugs in her foster home, but when playtime is over, she's all about cuddles and snuggling up with her favorite people. Ruby is heading in for her spay tomorrow, and once she arrives in Washington this Sunday, she'll be essentially medically ready for her forever home, with only a few routine vaccine boosters left that won't delay her adoption. If you're looking for the perfect mix of playful and affectionate, Ruby is ready to steal your heart! Please visit our website to learn more about this amazing pug and begin the adoption process!

Story
Welcome Kiwi to CCPAL Rescue. Kiwi is a 10-week-old Pug mixed pup. She is a beautiful fawn color with a black muzzle. She has an underbite and a shortened nose. She is a smallest-sized pup in the liter. She should be 20 or 25 pounds full grown is our best estimate. They all have curly tails and the round adorable heads. Kiwi is the most outgoing and friendly in the group. She always comes when you call and wants to be picked up. They are all affectionate and cuddly. They are very playful with their siblings. They go on a wee pad but are not fully potty trained. They are good in a crate and are getting regular attention and love at the Rescue. We don’t have the privilege of adopting out many pugs. We are excited to find the pug pups their forever home. We would love pug people for these pups, as they know the breed most. They will be spayed and neutered and ready for their forever home soon. Someone that doesn’t work all day every day is the best candidate for a puppy. These pups would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older as these pups are small and very trusting of everyone. Kiwi is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Story
Teddy is a 2-year-old sweetheart who's currently making his way to Washington and getting ready for his next big adventure. This handsome guy is as easygoing as they come. Teddy has a calm, laid-back personality and is happiest when he's close to his people. If there's room on the couch, you can count on Teddy to be right there beside you, soaking up all the snuggles he can get. He's the kind of companion who is content simply being with you, whether you're watching a movie, reading a book, or enjoying a quiet afternoon at home. Teddy will be neutered this week and, after he's medically cleared, he'll be ready to pack his bags for his forever home. If you've been dreaming of a sweet, affectionate pug who loves cuddles just as much as you do, Teddy might be the perfect match. Story
Welcome Nutz to CCPAL Rescue. Nutz is a 3-year-old Chug (Chihuahua/Pug). He weighs about 12 pounds and is full grown and a nice weight. This dog came from the hoarder or overabundance of dog situation. He is a quieter dog and likes to be held. He is definitely a lap companion. He is playful with other dogs and has the sturdy body of the Pug. He would love to be a companion for a person that is retired, partially retired or maybe someone with a household that is more quiet and wants a dog with a lower energy to join in. He would be ok with a smaller condo size yard. He is learning leash manners and getting used to commotion of the Rescue. He hasn’t experienced a lot of different things so he isn’t sure yet but he is really really nice. He is not a big shedding dog. He is fine with nail trims and baths and will make some lucky family a great companion. I would say anyone moderately active would be fine for this dog. He bonds deeply and he warms up with affection nicely. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is getting vaccinations, neutered and he will be ready for his forever home soon. He is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is $200.
