Chase is a handsome little boy with a beautiful cream-colored coat who is ready to leave his past behind and begin an exciting new chapter. His journey from Mexico has given him the opportunity for a better life, and now he is searching for a loving family to make that dream a reality. At just one year old, Chase has his whole life ahead of him. He deserves a safe and secure home where he will be treated as a cherished family member and given the patience, understanding, and unconditional love that every rescue dog needs. FOREVER HOME NEEDEDMeet Hardy!Hardy is a 5-year-old, 23 lb Pug who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter, and he is every bit the classic, lovable pug you could hope for!Hardy's being cared for in a foster home. He lives with 2 other small dogs.We're not sure about his background but there's been a lot first for him. He's not navigated stairs but has learned quickly with treats. He's wasn't super familiar for car rides but he's good now. Not sure about sleeping in dog beds but he's learning that a good thing too. California stray. Perhaps a breeding dog.Hardy is great with other dogs and great with people, making him an easy addition to a social household. He’s also treat-motivated, which makes him eager to engage and easy to work with. He's a terrific walker on a leash and enjoys sniffing and peeing on trees!Because Hardy is a flat-faced breed, he will do best in a home with brachycephalic (flat-faced) breed experience or adopters who understand his specific needs, including monitoring exercise, temperature, and overall health. Hardy is very classically pug with can snore and sneeze when he gets excited. He has big eye typical of pugs. Hardy's personality is very typical for a pug. He likes to follow you around the house and wants to sit next you. He does fine when folks have to leave the home but he likes to know where you are when you are home.Hardy's loves to hug and gives excellent kisses. HIs favorite activity is to ram you with his big meaty head and rub his face all over you. He's very curious so you'll have to be careful where you leave things. He's been known to open cabinets and pull down grocery bags. Hardy's new family should want a dog that want primary attention from people. He's not super interested in playing with other dogs but is super chill with others if you want add a cuddle dog to your pack. Pugs are lovers, not fighters. Hardy has a good night time routine and sleeps well in his kennel. We're working on potty-training and he's got the hang of going out every 4-6 hours. Hardy is happiest sitting next to you while you work, watch tv or read. Hardy is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $450.

Meet Belle! Belle is a sweet 3-year-old girl who came to us from a California shelter and is settling into foster care beautifully. She's a quiet, easygoing little lady who appreciates the simple comforts of life, like a cozy bed, her kennel, a good meal, and fresh water. Belle is doing wonderfully with potty training, with just one little accident on her first day in foster care! She has been pretty chill so far and seems happy to have a safe, comfortable place to relax. Belle hasn't discovered the joy of toys just yet, which can be common in dogs who have had limited opportunities to experience life as a cherished family pet. For some dogs, learning to play, wag their tails freely, and enjoy these simple pleasures can take some time. Belle is still learning what it means to be safe and cared for, and we look forward to watching her confidence grow. Welcome Kiwi to CCPAL Rescue. Kiwi is a 10-week-old Pug mixed pup. She is a beautiful fawn color with a black muzzle. She has an underbite and a shortened nose. She is a smallest-sized pup in the liter. She should be 20 or 25 pounds full grown is our best estimate. They all have curly tails and the round adorable heads. Kiwi is the most outgoing and friendly in the group. She always comes when you call and wants to be picked up. They are all affectionate and cuddly. They are very playful with their siblings. They go on a wee pad but are not fully potty trained. They are good in a crate and are getting regular attention and love at the Rescue. We don’t have the privilege of adopting out many pugs. We are excited to find the pug pups their forever home. We would love pug people for these pups, as they know the breed most. They will be spayed and neutered and ready for their forever home soon. Someone that doesn’t work all day every day is the best candidate for a puppy. These pups would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older as these pups are small and very trusting of everyone. Kiwi is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states.
