HI - WE'RE BASIL & ROSEMARY! We're sweet & adorable Pugs in need of a forever home. We were rescued from a crowded California shelter, where we were separated for awhile. Now we're back together in the same foster home and are so happy! We are very bonded so need to be adopted together. We are both about 8 or 9 years old. We get along great with other dogs and I love people, too! I (Rosemary) am only 11 lbs, and Basil is only 5 lbs! Please email for an application.

For more pics and vids follow us on: YouTube @thehausofdogs TikTok @thehausofdogsofficial Facebook or Instagram @thehausofdogs Zinji is as sweet and easygoing as they come. Found as a stray, this well-mannered boy quickly proved himself to be a total gem — he got along great with the finder’s dogs, showed no reactivity toward the cats, and didn’t have a single potty accident in their home. Now in foster care, Zinji continues to shine. He’s fully housetrained, keeps his kennel clean, and sleeps quietly through the night in his crate. While he whines for a few minutes when first crated at bedtime, he's learning that he's safe and his people will always come back. He rides calmly in the car, enjoys going for walks, and is always up for some peanut butter in a Kong—his favorite treat! On walks, Zinji gets excited by all the smells but he settles down and responds well to verbal cues. He’s friendly with everyone he meets and has a gentle, relaxed nature that makes him an instant favorite. He's curious but cautious around cats and is more spooked by them because they move so fast! He would likely do well with slow introductions to a dog-savvy feline. Zinji is still learning how to play with squeaky toys and rope games, but his calm, loving personality more than makes up for it. Whether he's sniffing on a walk, lounging after playtime, or quietly observing the world, Zinji is just happy to be near his people. If you're looking for a sweet, mellow, and loyal companion, **Zinji is your guy**. He's ready to settle into a forever home and bring his gentle heart along with him.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Introducing this handsome boy, Nigel! He is a 1.5year-old, 25 LB Chug (Pug/chihuahua) or pugwawa, who is looking for his forever home! Nigel is a very sweet and loving little guy who loves a good adventure! He is outgoing and bonds deeply to his people, and is looking to be someone’s partner in crime! He has some work to do with his leash manners as he does like to pull and is quite strong when doing so, but he is also smart and eager to learn! Nigel would love a forever home that takes him on daily walks and outings, and he also loves other dogs! He would do great as an additional dog in a home, or he would be fine as an only dog with continued socialization. This spunky guy hopes to find his forever family soon as he has a lot of love and joy to bring into a home! Nigel is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

Story
Animal Profile: Dobby is a 3 year old neutered male pug mix. He is great with dogs, cats and kids. Dobby loves to snuggle and is potty trained. He arrived in Seattle from California on 6/22/2025 Foster Update: Dobby is such a good dog! He loves to cuddle and give kisses, is completely potty trained, and is doing better and better in his crate, although it’s a work in progress. (He’d much rather be out with me.) He’s totally fine with my cat – he just ignores him – and has started to play and have zoomies with my resident goldendoodle, who is a bigger dog. He does well on leash, with minimal pulling, although he can get startled on walks if there is a loud noise. Following my confident dog’s lead seems to help him, and I think he would thrive in a household with a confident resident dog. He doesn’t know many commands yet, but he appears to know his name pretty well and is learning the “off” command for when he gets jumpy, anticipating getting to go outside. Dobby isn’t very playful with me (I’m not sure he knows how to play with a person!), although he’ll play with my dog. When it comes to me, he much prefers to just sit next to me, or on my lap. I've had some visitors come over and Dobby is shy at first but then he opens up if the visitors are calm and he sees the resident dog being friendly to them. In my opinion, he is well suited for an apartment. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Your donation may be tax deductible as DG is a 501c3 organization. Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was transferred from San Bernardino in California and arrived to Seattle area foster care via Wiggle Butts transportation on 6/22/25. This dog will be fostered in the greater Seattle area and available for adoption once evaluated.July 15, 2025, 1:47 pm

Story
Animal Profile: Anastasia is a 3 year old, 15lb spayed female, pug mix. She is great with dogs, cats, and kids. Anastasia loves to snuggle and is potty trained. She will be arriving in Seattle from California on 6/22/2025 Foster Update:  Ana is a dainty little darling with a heart as soft as her fur and a growing curiosity about the big, wide world. While she may start off shy, give her a little time (and maybe a sock to steal), and you'll be greeted with joyful tail wags, bunny hops, and the sweetest kisses you’ve ever known. She’s currently expanding her social circle, learning that people outside her inner squad can be pretty fun too! She’s not the type to make instant friends, but once you’re “in,” she’s yours for life. Ana is a respectful roommate to cats (though she definitely needs an escort past them in the hallway—safety first ), and while she’s still figuring out how to play with dogs her size, she’s more than happy to cuddle and groom the big ones like a tiny therapist. Don’t let her dainty demeanor fool you—get this girl near water and she turns into a zoomie-powered racecar. She adores trail walks, taking on natural agility obstacles like a champ, and lives for the smells and sights of the woods. But once the walk is done? It’s Netflix and snuggle time. Preferably in your lap. Always your lap. Ana’s still building up confidence and working on solo time, so she’d do best in a home (not an apartment) where someone’s around to support her as she grows. She’s a quiet girl at heart but will give you a polite heads-up if someone’s at the door. She’s crate-trained at night, is learning her basic commands (sit, recall, kennel up), and is very food-motivated—which makes her a breeze to train. Whether you're hiking a forest trail or just binging your favorite show, Ana is happiest being wherever you are. She's looking for a forever human who will cherish her gentle heart, continue building her confidence, and treat her like the royalty she was born to be.  Petite, playful, sensitive, and loyal to the core—Ana is ready to love big in her own quiet way. Could that special someone be you? MEET FABULOUS FIZZIE! Fizzie is an adorable and strong 3-year-old Bulldog who needs a forever home! She is cute with her funny underbite, and is a ball of bulldog energy! Fizzie was initially rescued from a crowded California shelter and now is in a foster home in Bothell, Wash. She is an unusual and pretty white & merle girl who loves human attention and affection. She loves to play with the ball, and will sit and shake for a treat! Fizzie prefers people to other dogs, and will thrive in a home where she's the queen bee. She's a snuggler, a couch potato, and loves going for walks or other outings. Anyone who loves bulldogs will adore Fizzie as she's got loads of personality. She does like to jump up on you and other people, which is a work in progress, so best that she does not go to a family with little kids. And she weighs only 46 lbs. Please email for an application. She'd love a forever home soon!
