Story
Meeria is tiny. Meeria is mighty. Meeria will be in the middle of whatever is happening and she will not be taking questions about it. This girl is fearless. She holds her own next to 60-pound dogs without a second thought, loves rough-and-tumble play, and makes it her personal business to be part of the action at all times. However, if you leave the room while she's playing, she will immediately come to find you. She isn’t clingy…just very committed to group activities. When she's not running the show, she's snuggled up next to her favorite person or on the pillow above their head at night, which is her preferred sleeping spot. No, she's not taking alternative suggestions. Impressively, she hasn’t had a single indoor accident, and she actively tells her foster parents when she needs to go out by running between them and the door in a mild panic. She's mouthy and loves to chew (she'll pick up things she's not supposed to), but she's not destructive; she just always needs something in her mouth. Redirect her to a toy, and you're golden. According to everyone who has met her, Meeria is a force of nature in the best possible way, and we highly suggest trying to snatch up this cutie while the gettin’ is good! -----

A Quick but Important Note to All Adopters:
Please remember that none of our dogs arrive fully trained. Most come from tough or uncertain beginnings and may have never lived in a home or known basic routines. That means:

✧ They are not potty trained on arrival. Most dogs regress in potty training when moving to a new environment.

✧ They may lack basic manners (like leash walking or appropriate chewing).

✧ They’re learning, growing, and doing their best—but they will need patience, structure, and compassion to succeed.

The majority of these pups have lived in the confinement of a cage or kennel run for most - if not all - of their lives. Because of this, we strongly discourage the use of crates for anything other than vehicle transport. They deserve the chance to decompress and learn what true freedom and comfort feel like.

Our amazing foster homes work hard to start these dogs on the right path, but they are rescues, not finished products. These dogs need time, consistency, and a loving home willing to meet them where they are.

Also, breed designations are our best guesses based on appearance and behavior. We can't guarantee breed, size, adult weight, or coat type.

Story
Derp was removed from a neglectful situation with several other dogs. They all had horrible demodectic mange and took quite some time to get cleared up. Derp still has some thin spots but I believe at this point he's reached his hair growth potential. This guy has the absolute best and most hilarious personality. He will have you cracking up constantly!

Animal Information:  Dale is a one-year-old Pug who found himself at the SBC shelter (along with his Pug buddy Brennan) as a stray. When no one came to claim them, we knew we had to bring them into rescue. At 25 pounds each, these adorable boys have the sweetest, smuggest little faces, perfect curly tails, and personalities to match. Friendly, happy, and full of charm, Brennan and Dale are ready to steal hearts throughout the Pacific Northwest. Foster Profile: Dale is a very happy and confident guy! He is playful with other dogs, delighted to meet adults and very gentle with kids. He has puppy energy and  jumps up with excitement (we are working on that) but he will also settle down with you for a snooze on the couch. Dale likes his stuffies and tug toys too! He is quiet in his crate all night, and appears to be housetrained. He is cordial, approachable and would fit in with many types of homes and families.  Most of all he wants to be with his where the action is. He will want to be in the middle of what ever his family is doing.  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Story
Animal Information: Percy is a 3-year-old, 11-pound pug/Chihuahua mix who was rescued from a confiscation case in Southern California. Shelter life was a little overwhelming for him at first, but with patience and kindness, Percy quickly began to show his true personality. Once he felt safe, he charmed the staff with his gentle nature, happy tail wags, and adorable little underbite. He also did wonderfully with his kennel mates, showing himself to be a friendly and easygoing companion. Thanks to a foster stepping up, Percy has been enjoying a cozy temporary home while waiting for his freedom ride to Seattle. Now he’s ready for the next chapter of his life  Foster Profile:  Percy is a very sweet and mellow pup. He’s shy with new people but will accept treats. He absolutely loves to sit with you and his default move is to roll on his back for belly rubs. Warning: you may have to extract him when it’s time to tackle your todo list.    He’s quite comfortable in his crate, day or night. Loves to take walks and has played well with another dog. He is continuing to learn family routine and rules. He has really great eye contact at home and on walks and is working to understand sit and other basic commands.   A mellow temperament like his would be well suited to a variety of families with or without other dogs.   He’s a super affectionate dog that prioritizes his humans and would be a good match if an “easy” dog is what you need to keep calm and carry on.   More to come as we continue to get to know him in foster care.    Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166). Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History:  This dog was transferred from Stanislaus Animal Shelter in Modesto, CA. He will be transferred via START, arriving to foster care on 06/11/26 and available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care. July 14, 2026, 12:38 pm

MEET BILLY THE BOXER MIX! If you're looking for a quirky, energetic dog, a ball of energy ready to rumble and roll, Billy is it! He is a fun-loving 2-year-old Boxer-Bulldog mix who is ready to rock your world. Billy is so unique and funny - he's got big floppy ears, and one is usually up and the other down. Secondly, he's great with other dogs. He was basically raised in an animal shelter so got used to having other pups around. He absolutely needs an active person who can take him for walks, hikes and other outings. Billy is stocky and built like a tank, and weighs about 65 lbs. Can you foster or adopt him? Billy is currently in California, but can be transported to you in Washington. Please email for an application.
