Story
Gnocchi is the quintessential family gentlemanthe kind of dog who settles into a home as though hes always belonged there. At 6 years old, this handsome boy has a calm, loving presence and a gentle nature that makes him incredibly easy to adore. He truly loves people and thrives on affection. Whether hes soaking up pets, leaning in for cuddles, or simply staying close to his humans, Gnocchi is happiest when hes part of the family. He gets along well with other dogs and has officially earned the coveted cat-tested-and-approved badge. Gnocchi recently visited our veterinarian and is beginning treatment for dry eye, which is quite common in pugs. Were also continuing to learn more about his vision, as there may be some slight vision impairment, but its simply too early to know for sure until his treatment has had more time to work. What we already know for certain? Gnocchi has a tender heart, a sweet soul, and so much love to give. Gnocchi is currently being fostered in Washington State. Story
Welcome Kiwi to CCPAL Rescue. Kiwi is a 10-week-old Pug mixed pup. She is a beautiful fawn color with a black muzzle. She has an underbite and a shortened nose. She is a smallest-sized pup in the liter. She should be 20 or 25 pounds full grown is our best estimate. They all have curly tails and the round adorable heads. Kiwi is the most outgoing and friendly in the group. She always comes when you call and wants to be picked up. They are all affectionate and cuddly. They are very playful with their siblings. They go on a wee pad but are not fully potty trained. They are good in a crate and are getting regular attention and love at the Rescue. We don’t have the privilege of adopting out many pugs. We are excited to find the pug pups their forever home. We would love pug people for these pups, as they know the breed most. They will be spayed and neutered and ready for their forever home soon. Someone that doesn’t work all day every day is the best candidate for a puppy. These pups would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older as these pups are small and very trusting of everyone. Kiwi is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See her cute video!!

Story
At 6 years old, Adelle knows exactly what she likes. Soft beds. Snacks. Cuddles. Being close to her person. Affection on demand. And if youre sitting down? She firmly believes theres a very good chance she should be sitting with you. What Adelle doesnt particularly care for is sharing. Recently surrendered when her owner could no longer keep her, Adelle is a pug with confidence, character, and a few very strong opinions. She can coexist with other dogs, but if she had her way, shed be your one and only. Adelle can be protective of her favorite people and her food, and she isnt shy about making her feelings known. But beneath that confident exterior is a girl who loves deeply. Once Adelle decides youre her person, shes all inhappy to spend her days by your side, supervising your every move and making sure youre never short on companionship. Adelle has now completed her initial veterinary exam and is officially available for adoption. Her vaccines are up to date, shes started her weight-loss journey, and shell be arriving in the Seattle area from Eastern Washington on June 25. Once here, shell receive a much-needed dental as part of her continued care. Shes crate trained, loves to snuggle, and currently carries a few extra poundsso for now, you may hear her before you see her. Between the loud breathing, legendary snores, and classic pug sounds, Adelle always makes her presence known. As if she werent memorable enough already, Adelle is also a proud member of the Winky Pug Club. One of her eyes is malformed, giving her a permanent little wink that makes her impossible not to love. Adelle is looking for someone who appreciates a pug with personality, loyalty, and just the right amount of sass. She may not want to share her personbut shell happily give that person her whole heart. Please visit our website to learn more about this amazing pug and begin the adoption process!

Story
Meet Pierre! Pierre is a 9-year-old sweetheart who joined Evergreen Pug Rescue after his family faced the difficult decision to surrender him when they had to move and couldn't take him along. It was a heartbreaking choice, and we're honored they've trusted us to help him find the loving home he deserves for his golden years. We're still getting to know Pierre, but he has already made a wonderful impression. He loves to snuggle and is perfectly content sleeping in his crate, although we suspect he'd much rather have a soft bed nearby. He has incredibly soft fur, is very food motivated, and enjoys running, playing, and chasing the other dogs. Despite being a senior, he keeps right up with the rest of the pack. Pierre is also working on his potty training and making good progress. He's already been neutered and has received his vaccines, heartworm test, and a full veterinary exam, so he'll be ready to start his next chapter soon. We can't wait to see this sweet boy find a home where he can enjoy all the comforts of retirement, surrounded by love and companionship. Pierre is being fostered in Washington State. Story
Pearl has mastered the art of companionship. At just 3 years old, this sweet pug already understands that some of life's greatest joys are the simplest ones: following your favorite person from room to room, curling up beside them at the end of the day, and being part of whatever they're doing. Pearl recently joined Evergreen Pug Rescue when her owner could no longer keep her. After spending time in a home where another dog continually picked on her, she's now getting the opportunity to relax, exhale, and discover what life feels like when she doesn't have to worry about being targeted. She's an easy-going girl with a gentle spirit and a heart full of love. Pearl isn't looking for the spotlightshe's looking for connection. She's happiest near her people, whether that's sharing the couch, keeping you company while you work, or simply being your loyal little shadow. Pearl is also working on losing a few extra pounds and beginning a healthier chapter. As she settles into rescue and completes her veterinary care, we're excited to watch her confidence grow and her personality continue to shine. Some dogs demand your attention. Pearl simply earns it. MEET BILLY THE BOXER MIX! If you're looking for a quirky, energetic dog, a ball of energy ready to rumble and roll, Billy is it! He is a fun-loving 2-year-old Boxer-Bulldog mix who is ready to rock your world. Billy is so unique and funny - he's got big floppy ears, and one is usually up and the other down. Secondly, he's great with other dogs. He was basically raised in an animal shelter so got used to having other pups around. He absolutely needs an active person who can take him for walks, hikes and other outings. Billy is stocky and built like a tank, and weighs about 65 lbs. Can you foster or adopt him? Billy is currently in California, but can be transported to you in Washington. Please email for an application.

Story
HI - I'M JULIE! I'm a sweet and loving10-1/2-year-old Shar Pei/Bulldog mix in need of a foster or forever home. I've been waiting for about three-plus years for a home and that's a bit sad, but I'm still hopeful my person or people will come along. I only weigh about 50 lbs and am an affectionate snuggle bug. I prefer to be the only dog in the home and prefer people to dogs so would do best with a single person, a couple or a family with older kids. I'm not a fan of cats either, so no kitties for me please. I am in great athletic shape and still love to go for walks and hikes. And I love the water! I also love the fresh air and the feeling of the sunshine on my back. Could you foster or adopt me please? I'm currently in California, but can be transported to you in Washington.
