Story
Meet Lady Enchilada & Nacho – the ultimate dynamic duo! These two are the very definition of a bonded pair. Whether they’re cuddling, playing, or searching for each other after wandering in different directions, it’s clear they’re inseparable. They may not be littermates, but they’ve spent their lives side by side—and they belong together. Lady Enchilada (a spunky Chiweenie) and Nacho (a sweet Chihuahua-Rat Terrier mix) are around 6–8 years old and weigh about 9-10 lbs each. 💛 Nacho (black and white) is a gentle lap dog who loves being held. He also enjoys wrestling with his small dog friends, especially his “sister” Lady. 🧡 Lady is more adventurous and playful. She enjoys interacting with other dogs, chasing toys, and curling up next to her favorite human for belly rubs. They adore each other, enjoy toys, and are both affectionate and playful. While they are puppy pad trained, they’re still learning outdoor potty habits. They spent most of their lives confined in a tiny cage, arriving with urine burns and coat discoloration. They’re making great progress, but they’ll need a patient home to continue building their confidence and routine.

Story
A WONDERFUL LITTLE FRIEND: Approx. 2 years old / Approx. 17 lbs. Hi, I'm Darla! I came to Mostly Mutts when I found myself in need of a home! Thankfully, they took me in, and I am soaking up all the love and attention from the volunteers here and I heard them say that I'm now ready to find a family of my very own. I think that is the best news ever! Plan to come meet me soon and see if I am your new furry family member! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and did not like them, so I'd like to be your only dog. / Cats unknown. / I haven't met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let's meet and best no toddlers that may fall on me.     • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a friendly, happy girl with an active, fun-loving personality and plenty of pep in my step! I can be a little skittish at times, so a little patience and reassurance will help me feel comfortable. I was super calm for my shampoo and ear cleaning during my spa treatment, although the water sprayer made me a bit nervous, so I braced myself against the edge of the tub and did well. I enjoyed my time in the Mostly Mutts playpen and showed everyone what a lovable, happy girl I am. I also enjoyed sitting in my volunteer's lap and soaking up some cuddles. And have you noticed my adorably big ears? They're pretty hard to miss and just add to my irresistible charm! / Energy level: 4-6.     • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and look forward to learning a lot with my trainer! Check back soon to see what I've learned and let's continue my training with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts, though I do sometimes come out fast. / I've had good potty manners at the shelter, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home too.     • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love cozy laps and hanging out with the nice volunteers! I also enjoy being active and having fun with my people. Once we're together in my new home, I'm sure we'll discover lots more things we love doing together! / I can't think of any dislikes yet, though like all dogs, I'm sure I wouldn't like it if I didn't get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I'm a wonderful little dog looking for a wonderful family! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I'm located in Kennesaw, Ga.  August 28, 2026, 7:35 am

Story
Meet Reese – Your Loyal, Sun-Loving Companion Reese has been a cherished part of her family for the past three years, and it’s easy to see why. She is a deeply loyal, affectionate dog who thrives on human connection and loves being part of everyday life. Whether she’s soaking up the sunshine in the backyard or relaxing near her people, Reese is happiest when she’s close to those she trusts. Reese is incredibly friendly with adults and has done wonderfully with older children who understand and respect her space. She forms strong bonds with her people and will be a devoted, loving companion to the right home. Like many sensitive dogs, Reese can experience anxiety, especially in environments that feel overwhelming or unpredictable. Because of this, she will do best in a calm, structured home where she can feel safe and supported. She is looking for a home without young children or other dogs, ideally with adults or a family with older kids who are dog-savvy and understand boundaries. With consistency, patience, and continued training, Reese has so much potential to truly thrive. In the right environment, her sweet nature and unwavering loyalty shine through in the most beautiful way. Reese is ready to find her person — someone who will give her the stability, understanding, and love she deserves. In return, she’ll give you her whole heart. If you think Reese could be the right fit for your home, reach out to learn more about her and start the next chapter of her journey.

Story
Hello, my name is Linky West! I'm around 9 years old and I weigh about 15-20 pounds. I think I'm a rat terrier mix. I'm spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, healthy, and ready to find my new home! I'm house trained and have learned to walk on a leash fairly well. I do not like crates for more than a short period of time, but that's okay because I can be left out without any worry of mischief making. When I first arrived at my foster home, I was very scared and unsure. Over time, I have settled in and come to love it here. I'm so much more happy and confident. I discovered that I love toys and cuddling. I also love treats! Now that I am more confident, I have found my voice and will let you know any time something even remotely interesting is going on in the house or the neighborhood, so I'd do best in a home that did not share walls with neighbors. I live with four other dogs right now. I prefer gentle, easy going dogs and do not care for bossy or dominant dogs. I also lived with cats in my last home. My favorite companion is my human though. Once I get to know you, I will adore you! Where you go, I go. I must insist that I sit on the couch with you and sleep in bed with you.    An odd quirk I have is that I get scared when someone tries to handle me (like a vet) or put something on my body (like a harness). If you slow down and speak sweetly, it helps me calm down a bit. My other request is a securely fenced yard. This is because I sometimes try to dart out the door and run wild, and also because I'm still working on my leash skills.  I'm really enjoying life in my foster home, but I am ready to find my new forever home!   An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations. Please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.          August 28, 2026, 6:37 am

Story
Meet Zennia! Zennia is a 4-month-old , 8 lb. rat terrier/poodle mix who is as sweet, playful, and adorable as they come! This little girl is happiest when she's around people and is always ready to make a new friend.  Zennia is a fun-loving puppy with a BIG personality packed into her little body. She loves to play, explore, cuddle, and be part of whatever her people are doing. She's friendly, affectionate, and has never met a stranger she didn't want to investigate!  Like any young puppy, Zennia is still learning the ropes. She's currently teething, so she can be a little mouthy, and her potty-training skills are definitely still a work in progress.  She'll need a patient family who understands that puppies don't arrive knowing all the rules and is willing to help her learn.  In return, you'll get a happy, silly, affectionate little companion who will keep you laughing and fill your home with puppy joy.  Zennia would love a family who will give her plenty of playtime, positive training, attention, and most importantly, lots of love. She has so much potential to grow into an amazing little dog! If you're looking for a sweet, social, playful puppy to grow up with, look no farther than pretty little Zennia. If you'd like to see more pictures, you can visit Zennia's online album at :  http://www.imageEvent.com/newrattitude/zennia   If you are interested in adopting this dog, PLEASE READ THE DETAILED ADOPTION PROCESS information on our website at www. Story
They are a lovely breed with the perfect mix of fetching skills, lounging skills, listening skills and energy! Both weigh in at around 35-40 lbs. They have grown up in the kennel house and are shy of new things. River is more easy going but it take Rusty longer. Rusty is also on medication for anxiety but I think once he got into a mellow home without the chaos that is the kennel house, he would eventually be able to be weaned off of the medications. Crate trained, housebroken, neutered, microchip, fully vaccinated, and heartworm negative. Good with dogs, prob not cats, kids over 10 bc of nerves and kid noise. FENCES YARD REQUIRED AND PATIENCE to allow them time to adjust. These Bojackchidor (see below) boys are a hard case bc they need a special home but they are so worth it! Right now Rusty is laying in the bed napping and River is laying in his crate chewing on a toy. They just need the right people. * Bojackchidor – Boston terrier, Jack Russell, chihuahuas and Labrador
